Hi Srinath,

Does the I-94 not show up at all? Or do you have that? My husband's (then fiancé) I-94 showed up a few days after we arrived. When we went to the Social Security office a few days later, they said they could not find him in the system yet, but they said they would send a message to DHS which could take up to 6-8 weeks. But less than 2 weeks later we got the SS card in the mail. Good luck!

That may be what is available right now. @vjscorp said that May was when the first interview was available. When I was booking mine, it also only showed one date that was available. Maybe try writing the consulate to see if there is anything earlier.

There is a new updated I-134 dated 02/13/19. Starting 05/06/19, we will only accept the 02/13/19 edition. Until then, you can use the 11/30/16 edition.

My interview will hopefully be in April and just made copies of mine so guess I'll stick with the one I have and save some bark off a tree . Thanks for the update.

You sure you didn't make it? I just checked the shipment and there are 3 going to India. One to New Delhi (which I think is @Pachuau , unless it is not forwarding to New Delhi and just to Mumbai) and 2 to Mumbai (one of which is mine and either Pachuau or not). On VJ at least others are a little before or after us. Wondering who that 3rd person is... I'm not sure about that, I've seen another post that you can wait until Wednesday to see if it has been shipped out.

Please don't post your picture of the screen shot of your "in transit" status. We all know what one looks like and we trust your word. Keeps the thread a little cleaner.

 

When your record goes to "in transit" post your feelings here on this thread. We would love to share your excitement. Remember they are sending files both Today and Wednesday so it may not be today so don't go into the dumps thinking you were missed until you have gotten to the EOB on Wednesday.

I don't think you need to have a transit visa if you have a valid US Visa and are traveling en route to US, best to check with your airline.

I would keep checking today and tomorrow, or just at the end of each day. Hope it goes through for you.

On the CEAC site mine says in transit as of a few hours ago.  My received date at NVC was 2/21. For ones that make the 3/5 shipment, it takes 24 hours to update on to DHL. I was reading that receipt dates from the previous week, including yours, there's a chance you'll make this shipment and if not you'll wait until the next one. They can update your status throughout today and also by end of day tomorrow. Hopefully you'll just have to wait until tomorrow. Good luck.

I would call that number each time, I think K-1 is both non-immigrant and immigrant so it's fine to call that number. When I would call around 11 or 4 pst wait time was like 5 or 10 minutes. When I called during my lunch break 2 pst, I would be on hold for 20-30 minutes. That's the longest I've waited.

Hi there, I'm not sure what it's like if your fiancée is not an Indian citizen, but my fiancé was born in India and did this just a few weeks ago. I filled out the application online and printed it out, but was having trouble booking an appointment on the website so I asked him to go to his local Passport office (seva kendra). He went there and they said they didn't issue PCC at that location, but they helped him book an appointment the following morning at the Ghaziabad, Regional Post Office. He arrived there at 10 a.m. and it took him maybe 15 minutes for them to issue.

Hi all,

I have my NVC case number, invoice number, and my fiance just signed the DS-160 last night so we have the confirmation page. I also created a us travel docs login and printed the Payment receipt page. I will ask my fiance to go to an Axis bank to submit the funds. Our case is still at NVC, and according to others the next shipment will be 3/5. Is it okay to go ahead and make the payment now? Or do I have to wait until the case status is ready?

Got my case number today, they assigned it yesterday but must have called them before it was assigned. Yay. Updating my timeline now...

Yeah, mine was definitely sent by USCIS, because I get informed delivery and there was a scanned image of it supposed to be arriving. Yeah I saw that too there are ways to get around it. Just wondering if it had any numbers I needed, but guess not. I'll see if it magically turns up or if I can request another one to be sent. 

I have informed delivery and my NOA2 was supposed to be in last Monday's mail. Is there any information on there that's necessary to move along in the process? I know it's required at the time of AOS, but that there are ways to go around it. USCIS mailed it, but seems like USPS lost it between the sorting facility and my mailbox.

I live in California and 2 of the letters were sent from my county and the noa2 was from southern california. I checked with a few of my neighbors will try to check with a few more.

I got informed delivery for my approval noa2 and it was supposed to arrive on Monday, I wonder if mine got delivered to a neighbor by accident! I'm missing two other letters as well. I'm going to check again with post office tomorrow......
