No.  Unfortunately, the only options are your sufficient income, your sufficient assets, or a well-qualified joint sponsor before filing the I-485 package.  Filing without a proper I-864 could lead to a denial.  He is now out of status, and he is subject to removal.

Moving to the Phils to raise your three adopted daughters is likely the best thing you can do to assure they get U.S. citizenship. You are a great dad!

For the sake of the 14 year old it is time for your sister to consider the greater good and accept her visa and those for her children.

Had your sister accepted her visa 3 years ago she would have had 2 more years today to file for citizenship.  And the 24 year old would be on glide path to citizenship

As a U.S. citizen your sister would have standing to force a yes.

Oh I think you're fine in terms of travel.

But your parents no longer have a case.  You said the threat is gone, to the point you can now return to vacation there.  How can they continue to claim asylum when the threat no longer exists?

If the threat to you and your parents is now gone, and you can travel back to your home country, would that damage your parents' case?  Why would they stay here looking for asylum if they can return home, and you are able to successfully vacation there.  I'm not sure their case can proceed based on what you've said.

These are family reunification visas.  As the petitioner, you would absolutely need to be domiciled in the US before they could immigrate.

    1) They are not obligated to answering you. the end.
    2) If you don’t trust the US Embassy is really simple, you don’t need to send nothing to them. Is that easy.

Apply for a visa is not a right or an obligation, is an option. You decided to do it and they have the rules really clear. If you want to speak with the immigration “manager” to complain about it you can try to find a lawyer that believes (or want your money)  your complaints are valid and expend a lot of money trying to “teach” the US Government how to deal with the immigration process.

    Good luck with that. 🍀

Just because a school is listed in SEVIS, it doesn't mean that is a real school.

As you may be aware, there are lots of unethical colleges that promise life in America and not necessarily an education.

Maharashi International Univerisity.  NEVER HEARD OF THEM.  Yeah, a master in Computer Science from the corn fields of Iowa.  Sounds legitimate.

Pick a real university with a real computer science master program and you may have a chance.

A person who has 18 years of work experience seeking a master degree is laughable.  A master vs. 18 years work experience - lets see which candidate I would pick?

Seriously, a master in computer science from a questionable university is not going to cut it.  Especially for a person with 18 years work experience.

The CO is well aware of people in your situation who are desperate to come and live in America and think that a student visa is the way to enter the US and find a way to stay.

Sorry, you are not a serious student.  It's not the school.  It's the student.

Unfortunately, there are many "schools" set up in the US for the sole purpose of obtaining visas for international students. I see they are "accredited" but they are not "regionally accredited." The CO probably thought it suspicious or, this particular school is known for visa issues...

ElmiraW reacted to Crazy Cat in IR-1 NVC stage. The RFE : Marriage Termination document Rejected.
Over the past several years, we have seen multiple cases of entering oneself as married on a previous DS-160 in order to "improve the chances" of getting a non-immigrant visa.  Years later, this "mistake" re-surfaces when DOS asks for the termination document for the claimed marriage.  Either the members were not able to resolve the issue, or they just never returned to tell us how they resolved it. No, I have never seen one of these cases end well.

    This case sounds eerily similar.

Has anyone in your memory survived the “I put I was married but really wasn’t” mess? I see this often, never seen anyone pull themselves out of it.
Researched that South Africa thing.  Those “life partner” agreements are not marriages nor are recognized as such.  In a choice of “married” “not married” - if not legally married the correct answer is “not married”  Wow

    Never mind.

You were never actually married.  You were playing house.  Playing house is still “unmarried” in South Africa as the “life partner” agreement is only binding between the parties.  We don’t put every chickie we lived with on the USC part of the I130 - for many of us that would fill boxes.

So, you fraudulently (in the eyes of the US government) dinged a box on a visa application years ago then doubled down by (fraudulently in the eyes of the US government) listed a “not marriage” in a section on previous spouses on an I130.

Why?  Why on the I130?  That can’t be fixed.

ElmiraW reacted to JeanneAdil in Iranian / Dutch B2 tourist visa refused because of no military card / no military exemption card !
According to Iran's constitution, all men over 18 years old must serve in the military for about two years

Iran says all the expats who haven’t served their compulsory conscription can pay €15,000 ($17,000) to buy their freedom from military service.
A member of the budget committee in the Iranian parliament, Mohammad-Reza Mirtajodini, said the plan only includes the absentees who are living abroad and at least five years have passed from their conscription due date.
