I just wished we knew what they needed. The funny thing is we used a lawyer for our processing just so we won't run into any issues. After he was told his visa is approved he bought a ticket 😟. This is just so frustrating!!!

The embassy contacted me to return my passport for so they can continue with issuing the visa..Feel Excited..😁.Thank God!!!.

Have heard it goes from AP- READY- AP- ISSUED.
No one knows for sure i think it depends on the CO handling your case. Have been on Ready since before my interview which took place Dec 27th 2018 and then my fiace was given 221g for extra documents which we submitted on the 14th of January and it remained READY till Feb 15th when it changed to AP and again my case was also updated today and still remains in AP.
Until you are called  to bring in your passport at the collection drop off  for them to stamp your visa on your passport thats the only way its guaranteed

I think he is OK. He may be in AP a while but on the surface it looks suspicious but he has tried to explain it and he has been honest with the petition. 

A red flag is red flag, and this one is because it IS Nigeria.  The best way to overcome this kind of red flag is to spend a lot of time living together as husband and wife.

I am not commenting on that.  I was just stating how the CO may see it.  They do not really have a chance to get all the information from you and there are items that would give them pause.  I am sure that it is all circumstantial and I mean no disrespect.  To me, as a stranger who is charged with protecting the country from fraud, your case has some red flags that are most likely nothing but coincidences.  Unfortunately perception is reality and it is within logic to question your petition.  Yes I believe you are just stuck in a situation where they need to dig a little deeper.  

That is a ridiculous presumption right out of the gate without even acknowledging what the OP wrote. Have you never had any interaction with government bureaucracies which issues documents before? Do you know the error rates on issuing drivers licenses, marriage certificates, passports, divorce certificates etc? Errors like that happen routinely and in developing economies with inadequate quality control it is not unusual at all. I have had a series of errors on my birth certificate, passport, social security number etc over the past twenty or so years.

and in a few days it will be changed to "ISSUED" and will be ready for delivery/pickup. This whole thing about Admin Processing has got a lot of people concerned. They have to print the visa, and then it probably goes to somone else to be affixed to the passport and then it goes to the other person to be prepared for mailing, and then to the mail room and on and on and on. There is no better title to call this process other than Admin Processing. Unfortunately, it shares its name with the other Admin Processing, the ugly one, and it really sets off people. Think only that it will be in your hands very soon.
