I agree with your perspective, hence my point to organize the evidence as much as possible. The officer does and will push cases aside if he/she fails to comprehend or deems to be complicated.

Where I differ from you a bit is I think we should take advantage of the cover letter and list out clearly what evidence is in the package and organize the evidence in the exact order, so that the officer can take a glance and flip through to the exact evidence as needed.

^^^ I work for a Federal Agency that has a workflow similar to USCIS. I guarantee this happens with regularity.

We'll be back next month! I've been gathering our evidence so I'll be ready to send it out on the right date.

I own my house and it was paid for long before I met my husband, so there is no mortgage. I didn't put him on the title and we have no plans to. I was able to get the electric company to put his name on the bills, so we have that. We also have auto and health insurance with both our names, and a joint checking account. Statements from that will show that we pay all our household bills from that account. I receive Social Security, and was able to name him as the "designee" if, for some reason, I can't manage it myself. We have photos (secondary evidence, but they seem to like to see them). I think that's about it. It doesn't seem like much now that I'm writing it out. Good luck to you!

Oh really?! Idk why I thought you sent all statements. That's really good to know then. Some people say all, but others only sent quarterly so I might be able to get away with quarterly (hopefully).

The I-751 instructions specifically say:  "Submit copies of documents indicating that the marriage upon which you were granted conditional status was entered in “good faith” and was not for the purpose of circumventing immigration laws. Submit copies of as many documents as you can to establish this fact, to demonstrate the circumstances of the relationship from the date of the marriage to the present date..."

Our package was 528 pages.  They asked for "as many documents as you can," from the date of marriage (3 years), so that's what we did.  You should have more peace of mind sending too much evidence vs. sending too little.  Good luck!

Overview of Garbage Pickup Acct in my name (for our current address)
    - Last 2 bills Pest control in his name (for our current address)
    - Electric bills (monthly) in my name (showing current and previous address)
    - Water bills (monthly - only 4) since we have been in our current address in my name
    - Internet bills (monthly) for service in current address and previous address in his name
    - Wireless bills (monthly) for services (recently in his name; previous in my name)
two bank letters (one for each) to previous address #2
my birth certificate (for identification? idk? maybe it can be taken out?)
    - our marriage license
    - my divorce decree (previous marriage)
    - his selective service record (w/previous address)
    - his biometrics notice from AOS
    18 pages of photos

i am not planning to include most of these, most of it was already reviewed for the green card already, and although we have literally gigabytes of pictures, i think we are going to just send various snapshots at different points in time, like 1 for each event to keep it manageable
i am not sure the bank letters are really needed if you are sending that many bank statements
i was sort of able to get the internet heading in a way that shows both of our names, but the way that they did it was stupid because they are apparently incapable of understanding that sort of request. CPS was a nightmare to try and get it done even after we moved and opened a brand new account
maybe you dont need all of the mortgage docs? i am not sure if there was just a main set that you could send instead of all of them, that might cut tie package down too.

There is no need to send W-2s if you are sending tax transcripts.  That will save you 4 pages!

hehe yeah. I only sent a Statement for every Quarter lol. If they cannot figure it out from Quarterly Statements then um, they may need to work on their skill that I cannot think of the name of anymore because I instantly forgot it while typing this. lol
Geez, that is a hella lot though!

Thanks, y'all! @WillieT1986 yours looks so neat!! Sadly, mine will be like five times that size but I think I can probably get away with your format, @Lana&Ivy! That's why I was wondering earlier about sending all the bank statements lol I ended up with this:

My photos were just in a printed Word Doc (mostly family Zoom calls from the past 1.5 years, tbh)

I sent a stack of paper (about 1.25" thick) with sticky tabs on the bottom only (scanner machine friendly) to mark each section. I divided it into 2 sections and butterfly clipped them just to keep it tidy. No other paper clips or anything. It's ALL getting fed into a scanner. I've read here to keep it simple for them.

I did both. I printed them on paper with their own summaries at the bottom of each page detailing what the picture was about then I got hard copies of the same photos and wrote the titles for each of them on the back and placed them in the same order inside a ziplock back to attached with them as well.

I did my wife papers in a red binder folder whatever they're called thing that had 4 inserts that provided me 6 sections, and I organized it that way. lol Ours was almost an inch thick though.

Also, did y'all send it in a binder, sheet protector, etc. I swear these last 2 years I made it a point to forget about immigration and it worked. I am completely blanked out on how I sent my previous cases.

    Thanks in advance!

It doesn't specifically ask for it, but I'm submitting a copy of mine just in case. Ya never know with USCIS.

I played it safe. If the pages are numbered, added the numbered pages, and if not numbered I left out the ads,  blank pages, etc. I have some statements that were numbered so I added all 5 pages even if the last page was blank but since it said 1 of 5 with the last page stating 5 of 5 I added it. The file I sent out was almost 1 inch thick. Personally, I would rather feel safe adding it then not adding it and risking anything.

Wow. We definitely did not send more than 30 pages and got approved recently without any interview.

I think the quality counts more than the quantity of the documents.  From shared account we printed each quarter  since we ere married and focused on where it showed e.g my income going to the shared account, then mortgage payment going out from the same account. include mortgage that we both are on it, credit card bills, paying off the cards from the shared account etc. So basically that we are using those accounts together and we did not just set it up to fool them.

Wow 528 pages seems a lot

No reason to skimp to save a few trees, dollars, or time, or they will think you are trying to hide something.  We sent 528 pages in the I-751 package.

I printed every page and gave them 24 months worth. In my opinion better to do it up front than have them come back and ask. over do it if you will. 10 months no RFE No interview and got approved. Do as you see fit though.

I was just told to submit every page of our bank statements so I'm assuming it's the same for bills?
