SRC August 2021 Filer here. Not sure if this is encouraging for everyone still waiting. My case finally got transferred to another office. It’s not approved yet but at least they worked on my case.
    Good luck everyone!

My husband's was too just last week. I think it has to do with it merging with the N-400. I'm not sure if you had filed for citizenship yet, but that might be the case.

  2. Update on my husband's case (kind  of):

We applied for his naturalization two weeks ago and his I-751 case was transferred a couple of days afterwards to NBC. His citizenship case shows "actively being reviewed" but I'm not entirely sure if that's accurate lol

You know... I filed my wife's N400 last night and today it has already auto generated two documents. One being the receipt, and the Second document being the biometrics reuse document that we all had to wait a couple weeks or so to be sent to us after filing the I751. Tells me everything really is online and if the system can determine the reuse of biometrics, then just how backed up are they that they have to manually go through everyone's files just to make a decision? I know my wife is currently down my throat asking me if I am lying to her about her immigration because one of her other friends filed their I751 after we did (Her friends is also LIN like ours is) and apparently got their 10yr in the mail recently, so they all think I am lying to her. lol

Well, at least the N400 is easy to file. Just make sure you have everything accessible that you basically used to file for the K1, AOS, and ROC combined, and it is pretty smooth and just need to update certain documents. lol

Ours is on the exact same boat lol

  3. So, I know we have a the super handy spreadsheet but for my own sanity, I wanted to make this thread in case any other SRC I-751 Filers would like to keep others updated if we hear anything. It seems that SRC went from full steam ahead to full stop. In previous filings, I was able to trace what month they were generally working on based on the monthly chats but now it looks like they've stopped abruptly.

Anyway, I'll bring the tacos if y'all bring the updates!

  4. Hi y'all,

So, we filed my husband's ROC in Aug 2021 and are super close to the "timeframe" for approval/interview. However, we (or at least I) need to move states in August for my job but I don't know if him coming with me will cause a change in service center or further delays. If so, we are considering him staying behind until his paperwork is complete. Additionally, my sister lives around the corner so another option if the physical location won't affect it is to change our physical location but set her address as our forwarding address.

Will his case be transferred with a change of physical location? IF so, will having a local forwarding address keep his case in queue at our current service center?

  5. So question to the masses:

We are moving in August to another state but will be SO CLOSE to the timeframe of my husband's ROC hopefully being approved (AOS'd from K1). Would it be alright to change the address to my sister's house down the street and fly back if we need to attend the interview? I would hate to switch addresses to a different state and reset the clock.

Edited to clarify: I mean would it be alright to change my physical address to my actual location but my forwarding address to my sister's house still in texas. Would that change our service center?

There have been many issues with the spreadsheet. Right now, it seems to be working, somewhat. There is a lot of info missing from the September filers' page. A couple of us have tried to restore it, but it's just not working. I created a new spreadsheet, and everything is in it. I started a new topic about it to alert everyone to it, but I don't think many have seen it. I hope this doesn't cause confusion. Here is the link to the new one:

    Have you filed yet?!

You know... For LIN people, I have been keeping track of the auto update emails from this site and just got this one... Will be really nice if this estimate approval is true. lol From the looks of the excel spreadsheet going around I am also tying that in with this estimation so I am not going to tell my wife but hey, may Summer 2022 I can have her be done with this stuff. lol

I know the last few emails I got were all like eta's for 2023 sometime and I was like wow but this latest one. Hell yeah, I can stand behind this estimation. lol

I've been keeping track of ours as well (SRC), but it's estimating a 2023 timeframe and the center's processing times are 4.5-7.5 so I sincerely hope that one is right and not the VJ time frames lol

I see a lot of people getting their biometrics waived, is this because of the COVID backlog?

Also - for those that have, do you get the biometrics fee returned (im assuming not)?.

I think it may have to do with more of a general backlog they've had going for years and the ones being waived I believe is those transitioning from K1 since they very recently had all this done 2 years prior.

For all those who filed and received the bio-metrics waived -
    Was in LIN?

Did you send the money for both the application and the bio-metrics?

We sent it in well before you all and did not receive the waived status for bio-metrics. Trying to figure out why.

We had my husband's biometrics waived, but we are SRC. Are you transitioning from K1?

Update: we received our biometrics letter yesterday dated 9-22. Now, the wait really begins!

Thank god.   Read all these posts and they kept you waiting for so long.  Sounds like our interview, where the agent neglected to have my wife sign and we had to wait two months to get a new appt.   Delayed the GC for two months.....no other issues.

Nice bonus on the biometrics.  Does that save you $85?

I know!! That beginning was kind of bumpy, I was beginning to think we were going to be one of those cases that ends up lost/forgotten and has to refile months later. Man, my mind goes to dark places. lol

I am in the same situation.

Mailed the ROC package on August 17th.

Received on August 21st. (Text Message)

Credit card charged on August 21st.

My SRC Case number isnt found in either of the websites case status.

I have not received any NOA yet.

Keep checking! Chances are they haven't processed the NOA yet. My husband's paper NOA had a notice date of 8/30 even though they received it 8/23 and we received the case number 8/25.

These are trying times, indeed. We get nervous only to find out there was no need for it. I'm sure it will arrive soon.

Yes, I think it's a knee jerk reaction to freak out. I feel better though because the cases now show up in the system, it's just a matter of waiting either the 30 days or until it arrives. In 30 days if it hasn't arrived, I'll request one for non-delivery.

Yeah.  I didn't find Emma to be very helpful, regarding this.

I don't know if it was just coincidence, but yesterday the old site finally showed an update. The new site still can't find the case number, but as long as one of them shows it now, I feel a little better. I would maybe reach out to the live rep in the Emma chat again and see if they can find a pending case with your A number.

We're at 2+ weeks and counting.  Case number still says invalid on both sites.  No extension letter in mail.  I find it very weird since our daughter got her letter in 6 days and she's a dependent on the application.

    Omg! Ugh.

I just did the Ask Emma thing and spoke to a live rep and she said she couldn't find anything with our receipt number and nothing shows pending under his A number and to call them if we don't' get anything in 14 days.
