Yep exactly right, they’ll go by the date of the last document submission when reviewing your case (though who even knows how they do it at this point!)

    Hi,
it’s says « action required » because NVC still didn’t look at your case .

Once  you see « submitted » in front of the I-864 +ds-260 and you submitted all documents required it’s ok .

the statuts will change from « action required » to. « At NVC » when they gonna look at your case

The date aid the last submission ( in your case , the financial documents) is the date they gonna take in account .

As long as it says “submitted” you’re fine, you don’t get an email confirmation for submitting everything and your status will only change once your documents have been accepted and you’ve been DQd

Unless I’ve lost my mind...it seems that the one you have is fine. Even though other things occurred to add to the certificate, your birth still doesn’t change and that’s what they want to see.

Straight from the state dept see the underlined.
    https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/Brazil.html

    Birth Certificates
Available: In all 26 states and the Federal District of Brasilia.
Fees: There are no fees for the first original.  For additional copies, variable fees apply.
Document Name: Birth Certificate (Certidão de Nascimento)
Issuing Authority: Civil Registry (Cartório de Registro Civil das Pessoas Naturais).
Special Seal(s) / Color / Format: Certificates vary in form depending on the state where it was issued. There are standard and unabridged versions of birth certificates.  Both are acceptable. The extended versions (Certidão de Inteiro Teor and Certidão de Pública Forma) contain the same basic information required in the simplified version as well as more detailed information about the birth and a history of any amendments.  Birth certificates may include annotations regarding adoptions or the acquisition of social-affective parents (see comments below).
Issuing Authority Personnel Title: There is no issuing authority personnel title.
    Registration Criteria: Variable
Procedure for Obtaining: Available from Civil Registry (Cartório de Registro Civil das Pessoas Naturais). Until recently it was necessary to visit a civil registry office in person or by sending a personal representative in the state where the record is maintained in order to obtain a copy of the document.  Now some cartórios may be able to obtain records from other states, although this is not consistent for all documents and for all states in Brazil.
In cases where people have married, divorced, and etc.:  to obtain an annotated birth certificate, a person needs to go to a notary (cartório) and request an updated copy of his/her birth certificate.  However, the lack of an annotation on the birth certificate does not necessarily mean that the person’s personal status has not changed.   Usually, a recently issued birth certificate includes all the amendments and/or annotations of that person’s life events (marriage, divorce, and etc.). That said, in cases where birth certificates lack annotations and/or amendments and have not been updated do not necessarily mean that a particular life event has not occurred.
Certified Copies Available: Certified copies are available
Alternate Documents: Unabridged birth certificates are available (Certidão de Inteiro Teor). Annotated certificates are also available.
    Exceptions: None
Comments:  For examples of Brazilian civil documents click here.
Since November 21, 2017, it has been possible to register social-affective parenthood (paternidade ou maternidade socio-afetiva) in the civil register.  Any adult, other than a biological grand-parent or sibling, who is over 18 years old and more than 16 years older than the child, may voluntarily register as a mother or father on the basis of having a parent-child relationship based upon “social affection.”  It is possible for a child to be registered with the names of up to four parents (two mothers and two fathers).  As such, a child may be registered under the name of his/her step-parents, or biological parents, or adoptive parents or under the name of an adult who has declared a bond of social-affective parenthood; any combination of these parents’ names may be used on the certificate.   These parents all share identical parental rights, responsibilities, and privileges under Brazilian law, regardless of the basis of the parentage claim.
Because of the new law, it is not possible to determine from standard birth certificates issued after November 21, 2017 whether the listed parents are the biological parents, adoptive parents, or other social-affective parents.  To determine this relationship it is necessary to obtain a complete unabridged record (certidao de inteiro teor).  This may be obtained from the civil registry office (cartório) where the birth is registered.

I started vacation from work today. Woke up to an email from USCIS stating that they took action on our case. When I logged in to see that our case was approved, I almost cried from happiness. What a great start to my vacation! For those still waiting, hang on there. Your day is coming!

Guys, am I the only one who doesn't enjoy weekends anymore? Not that I hate them, I still enjoy resting, but I don't enjoy it as much anymore, I just keep thinking: well, USCIS is not working today, nothing is gonna happen to my case. Am I going crazy? 🤣

I can see how it might seem to mean that, but current income is not current year income.  If you lose your job today, it doesn't matter what you made already this year.  Your current income is zero.  If you got your first job today at salary X, salary X is your "current income".  Based on your described circumstances, you don't qualify to use the I-864EZ anyway.  Become an A-Student of the I-864 instructions.  Interpret the questions and instructions literally.

I know of a number of couples where the petitioner just started a job after college or whatever, they Included an employment letter and pay stubs being their tax return showed inadequate income they were approved, but this can vary dramatically from embassy to embassy.   But like already said, have the co-sponsor documents at the ready.    Each of you complete the I-864

OMG! I got approved!!! 🎊🥳🎊 It only took 377 days! I just received the notice per email surprisingly. I thought most people found out through my.uscis page. I hope I was an exception and that you guys don’t have to wait as much as I did. It’s been stressful.

And thanks everybody for your support!

Good riddance, Nebraska! You won’t be missed.

Congrats! We are also in Rio with the same service center. Your post made me super excited because (hopefully) that means that our approval is not too far away! Our priority date is in the beginning of September. Q: You didn't file I129, right? We were going to but gave up because we're so close anyway. Please kindly keep updating the rest of the info as you get them so us Rio filers can get a glimpse of what to expect.

    Thanks! Abraços

If you had asked me yesterday about how long I think your application would take to get approved I would’ve said longer than you think. Now that I just got approved (minutes ago) I just changed my mind. I realized that when my PD started getting close I got extremely anxious and every day seemed too long. To be honest, I got approved not even that far from my PD. It’s very nerve wrecking to just wait for something that is absolutely out of your control. I think you’re stuck in the same mental place that I was a few minutes ago and I think your application will get approved very soon. It doesn’t seem that it happens often that people are approved around 15 months. Trust me, I’ve been researching because I was freaking out! Your time will come soon. Keep us informed. Força!
