Just called NVC and was told that our case was received on Nov 14th but still in processing.
hopefully we could catch the next shipment date
btw, our NOA 2 was approved on Oct, 29

According to DHL, the embassy has our file! WOO!

I managed to get an appt this morning for my medical - yay! So that's all done. I booked my interview for the 14th of december but if I get all I need before then, I'll see if I can have an earlier date!

Just an update...so as most people have reported as such NVC quoting 8weeks for a Case number
They assigned us ours as of 11/14/2018
NOA1 - 04/04/2018
NOA2 - 10/22/2018 (201 days)
NVC Received 11-09-2018
NVC case assigned 11-14-2018

A lot, we were first here, from 1 October 

Ours was received at nvc!! Missed this shipment..but looks to be quick using the dhl formula.. The shipment that left 11/13 will arrive abu Dhabi 11/19 ... When is the next expected shipment from nvc?

Finally, they received our case and gave us case number

the NVC have received my case but no case number yet. my NOA2 was 19th of October. The agent was stressing the fact that they can take up to 8 weeks to create a case number. Hopefully it does not take more than a week.
 

Hello everyone,
Just called NVC and they confirmed that they received my files from USCIS yesterday 11/13.
Although the agent told me it takes about 8 weeks for case to be assigned, I hope that moves a bit faster

just called NVC and they say received our case 11/09 and can take up to 8 weeks to make the case number...anyone else have the same or what is anyone experiencing?
I was surprised that they kept telling me 6 weeks to receive from USCIS.
any help would be great

Just got off the phone with NVC.  Said my case was received today.  (NOA2 date 10/17/18)  The very friendly agent said it was good that I called and to call back every week to check status and see if case number was issued.  Only closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas for the rest of the year.  So, for those with approval date around mine, yours should have arrived there, too.  So happy to have this resource and group of friendly people like @Greenbaum

Finally got my case number today. NOA2 Oct 3

unsure which member told you that, but they be full o rooster poo.
co-sponsers are fine, for a K-1.

Just called and they finally got the case today. No case number yet...

i wonder if it’ll make the batches for the next shipment? 

I received my NVC email notification last night 11/7 after receiving NOA2 on 9/25.  NVC received the case on 10/26.
 
Immediately paid the invoices and bills now waiting them to clear to fill the forms. 

Finally NVC received our case and case # assigned today! I called Monday and they said it wasn't there yet... I was going to wait til next week but something said it's there and it was!! We're getting closer to victory! 

Another update:
medical on monday, interview spot opened up and most likely will take place on Nov 20th as they do them on tuesdays 

NOA2 - 10/10. Called this morning and we have our case number. Hopefully, it means we will be in this upcoming Embassy batch. Good luck to everyone. 

Hi. My NOA2 date is Oct 17th. We called NVC yesterday and got our case number.
