Our embassy is also Islamabad and I don't think they send any P3 to the applicants.

Yeah makes sense. I see you almost have the same dates as ours. Our NOA2 is 17th so I'm hoping by the 1st week of November we'll have a case number to make an account on CEAC and proceed with the interview and medical appointment. Any chances of interview being in December?

I don't have a P3 but what do have is information that can be used until such time as the Embassy provides a copy to you. If you could share that with me when you receive it I can use it to help others who come behind you.

What is needed for the interview:

    https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/iv-dv-supplemental/ISL_Islamabad.pdf

VJ portal for your county's Embassy (information is old but maybe it will be of some use)

Su-forum for your region. This is the place to ask questions of others who are processing through Pakistan, not here.

Will definitely share once I have it. Yes I've been lurking on the Pakistan portal. Hoping for a smooth procedure. For now I guess I'll wait for the case number since all my docs are already ready. 😁

I'm happy to be with here with everyone, too.  :)

I also signed up on the NVC website with my email address.  I  called today just to ask if maybe they received our file yet, gave the lady our USCIS case #, but nothing yet.   She was really nice and didn't even give me the "wait up to 6 weeks' thing, she said try back again in a few days.   I knew I was a bit early, we got our NOA2 dated  Oct 10.   I'll call again next week if I don't get an email before then.

    Good luck!!!

The batches you are speaking of is from NVC to the Embassy and NOT USCIS to NVC. They go everyday.

Great thanks for the clarification. MY embassy is Islamabad. Do you have the P3 for that? I've been trying to figure out when is a good time to schedule the interview, after receiving the letter from NVC or get the case number by call and then wait for ready status on CEAC?

I'm one of those people I see you writing about. I've lurked in the background never posting or even creating an account. But I've watched intently and learned a lot from everyone's post. I wanted to share our time line for those still waiting.

    NOA1 4/27 old site

    NOA1 5/01 new site

NOA2 10/22 old site and on USCISApp

New site still shows received only.

I have the exact same (5/01 on the NOA1). I'm so nervous I can't concentrate on anything else. We still haven't recieved anything yet :(

I've been tracking some statistics for our old-site "received date", Apr 17th.

    Approx 170 K1 applications received

First date of updates to those cases: Oct 9th.

Tue Oct 9th: 2 cases updated - both RFE

Wed 10th: 9 cases  updated - all approvals

Thur 11th: 14 cases updated - all approvals

Fri 12th:  26 cases updated (2 RFE)  one "Notice of action" - sounds bad.

So 51 cases processed, 118 (I think) still to be processed.    There is  bias towards updating the earlier case numbers for that date, but some higher case numbers also updated.

Hope this helps you to understand the rate of progress and why you might be waiting even if others from your date have been processed.    Good luck to everyone waiting, for all dates.

This is so sad. Yeah I've been wondering about the poor March filers too 😕

I have following questions related to K1 visa from Pakistan

1- If a person has never been out of Pakistan, does he/she still need a police certificate for k1?

2- If the person don't have vaccination record, then what should be done? Shall he/she get a vaccination certificate from a Dr. Or shall it be done during medical test? Any particular form needs to be filled on this or not?

Hi! I'm from Pakistan, for the first point:

You need a police certificate irrespective of if you've been outside Pakistan or not. They need to know if you were a responsible citizen wherever you resided. In Pakistan it takes around 2 to 3 weeks or longer if you've changed a lot of addresses since birth.

    2. You can either get vaccinations now or if you don't you will need to during another medical for AOS in the US. Highly recommend you get them from Pakistan. No forms to be filled, the panel doctor in Pakistan will give you a sealed report after your medical which you will need to take with you to interview at embassy and at the POE, do not open that envelope under any circumstances.

    Hope that helps.

    DS160

    police report

    Medical reports

    vaccination records

    more proof of ongoing relationship

    booking medical and interview

    affidavit of financial support

another letter of confirmation to marry within 90 days from both of us

Thank you so much! I think the NVC schedules the interview and they email the time and instructions. That's the case for Islamabad embassy, not sure about others though. :)

The wait when you are waiting to leave your life behind and start your new life is killer it’s like a life on pause but we’ll all get through it.

I think it's an anxious time for everyone. Saw a 04/06 approval!! Guess will be checking the old and new site everyday lol. On the other hand there's something wrong with the stats since it's showing CSC March 10 which is messing up with estimated approval times.

Also - what's the checklist for post NOA2?

  13. 2 minutes ago, DaveAndAnastasia said:

If you look at the paper NOA1 there's a "received date" which seems to line up with the old site date most of the time, and a "notice date" which seems to line up with the new site date most of the time. They're not more or less accurate; just different. Also, there's more than a week of random variance in processing time on any given NOA1 date, so don't worry much about it.

You're absolutely right, makes complete sense. Aahh as long as we get the visa on time I don't care what the websites say. I've been keeping busy with grad school and a job so I don't sit all day stalking the website :(

Yes these last months are dragging since our visit I hate it. I just want them here already to start our lives as a family

My fiance is visiting in Christmas holidays, that's something to look forward to but the wait after December isn't short either, at least the activity will pick up pace with the embassy LOL.

Wishing all of us an RFE free journey!
