We know the case number allows you complete the DS-160.  Not long ago you could use your receipt number beginning with WAC. NOA1 has this number.

Try your WAC# and see if it let's work on the DS-160.  Let me know if that still works.

Here is what the CEAC website says about the Application Receipt / Petition Number field of the DS-160 form:

    Help: Application Receipt/Petition Number

Your application receipt/petition number was given to you by the Department of Homeland Security’s United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) after you filed your petition application at a USCIS Service Center. The application receipt/petition number is 13 characters long and the first three characters are letters.

WAC number is the only number given after filing a petition at a USCIS service center...

I assume that the RFE was for not providing evidence of having met within the last 2 years?

If both of you have passport stamps from Georgia that were stamped on the same day, I would copy the data page from BOTH passports, copy the page(s) with the stamps, and include a cover letter that gives details about the trip.  If you have photos together from the trip, print those off, along with any hotel receipts, restaurant receipts.

If you have friends or relatives who will write a statement attesting to your meeting, I would send that, along with a copy of their ID.

If you saved an electronic boarding pass in your phone (Apple Wallet) and it shows your name and the date, I would send that too.

You have one shot at this and I want you to get approved ASAP.

I don't know what the RFE is about yet, so I was just guessing. I did include separate intent letters, so that shouldn't be a problem. If it is indeed about more proof of meeting in person, I will definitely get all I can get from the first 2 trips. I am just wondering whether I can use my new trip that happened after I submitted the application since I have much more convincing evidence about that one...

  3. Got a notification about RFE from the new site, from yesterday's date :(. The old site still shows Case was received... I suggest my printed airline tickets and photos weren't good enough. I didn't keep any boarding passes from the two trips I did before I submitted the I-129F. I wasn't a US citizen at that time, so I entered Ukraine as its citizen, therefore no passport stamps either. We do have passports stamps from a third country (Georgia); not sure if that's enough...

I had another visit after I submitted the petition, and I kept everything from that one. Does anyone know whether it is OK to submit evidence dated after the petition date, for RFE purposes?

We got ours today too! As soon as I saw someone post earlier that Informed Delivery showed a Homeland Security envelope, I checked USPS and saw NONE of the day's mail made it through the scanner. For some reason I just knew our NOA2 was in there! Luckily my fiance was outside as the mail truck came by and got it hand-delivered. No website, app, or notification updates. I'm at the tail-end of a two-month stay with my fiance in Florida so this is the best news to have before going home and on to the interview process in Canada. Today we get to celebrate!

    NOA1: March 4

    NOA2: May 29

Congratulations! Was March 4 your receipt date or notice date? Mine are March 1 and March 6 respectively...

We have been trying to call USCIS with no luck ..please who has the their email? Our NOA1 is 84days today with no word ..Lord help us

Did you try the numbers posted by @TandClaudia on page 24? Worked for me (unfortunately, I was told there are no updates for my case...). Emailing USCIS will always result in their standard reply about 7 months processing time.

  6. OMG, I can't even imagine how frustrating it is to be waiting since October while seeing other people approved in less than 60 days 🤬 This K-1 process is a completely new level of unfairness to me because there is absolutely no logic in it. When I had to wait for my own naturalization in Seattle for 15 months while another office in the same state processed applications in 5 months, it was painful but explainable (different number of applications per office, etc.). But variance of 300% within the same office is unexplainable. Some people say it's because background checks take different amounts of time. Well, I submitted my I-129F next day after going through a naturalization interview where USCIS supposedly did all kinds of background checks on me. Are they now doing more checks? I'm not buying it. The only explanation I can see is they randomly pull numbers out of a bag.

The only number I care about is my fiancé and son. Choose to wait if you like but the only thing in your life you can not replace or have more of is time. I can make more money, buy new stuff but time with my family is priceless. While I wait I choose to rage against then machine and demand better from my government or I will not vote for them. Life is as simple or as hard as you make it, friend.

You sent your inquiries after less than two months of waiting. You knew there were people waiting in line. One thing is to be enraged at the government, but another is trying to jump the line, generating noise for the already clogged government response system, only to trigger their semi-robotic replies. Even if your approval was sped up by several days, it only happened at someone else's expense. Congratulations!

Yes.. the online copy is identical to the mailed copy.  Good luck on your appointment tomorrow.  Don't forget to carry cash for parking!

I couldn't find a mailed copy of my notice, so I printed it on my home printer with best quality available, but the barcode just didn't look right. So the lady at the check-in desk couldn't scan it, and I had to apologize for the extra typing work I gave her 😔 . Maybe your printer is better than mine though 😀

Oh wow good luck tomorrow! Hopefully you get to take the oath. What time do you plan to get there?

I was approved! Oath is today at 2:30 pm. Looks like the 10am one is not possible for the same day because the interview was done at 8:05am.

I arrived at the parking lot at 6:40, stayed in the car till 6:55 (looks like I could've come in earlier, my queue number was P9, and there were already about 30 people in the waiting room). Was called in at 7:40. The whole thing took less than half an hour. Very nice and professional officer. I was worried about my exception (I don't bear arms for religious reasons), but it caused no problems, just had to explain in a few words. The sentence to read was Where is the US capital? and I wrote an answer. Don't remember all the test questions, but I answered 6 out of 6 correctly. Be careful when writing, don't touch the screen with your hand :)

Received my Bio apt letter today on the mail. They have scheduled it for Feb 20th, there is a 50% chance of snow that day. Has anyone had their apt in these past few days? Were they even opened? I really don't want to drive there in bad weather.

USCIS has a page for their office closing which seems to be updating regularly. Seattle office was closed this Monday, and @Hollyday  had a bad luck to confirm it, see this post. Also, Seattle office has this warning on their page: "Offices sometimes close because of bad weather or unexpected events. During bad weather, call 206-965-4411 before traveling to make sure we are open."

  11. I got the following email from USCIS this afternoon:

" Dear USCIS account holder, Due to a recent email outage, we were unable to send notices about case updates. We have fixed the problem, but to ensure you have the latest information on your case status, please log into your USCIS online account. "

It explains why I never received an email notification about my interview (and makes me feel safer 😅) . I wonder if any other Seattle filers were affected.

oh, that's so early! I think you are definitely going to make it. If not for 10:30, definitely for the afternoon one.

For me, the my.USCIS page currently shows this. Let's hope it's an error! lol

    Estimated case completion time

    May 2019 (4 months)

I don't think it's ever taken Seattle office nearly that long to schedule an oath. The longest interview-to-oath time period in the timelines section for Seattle is about 5 weeks.

  13. 2 minutes ago, amisa said:

I am pretty bummed too about that. A same day oath is not guaranteed in any way. There is indeed a second oath ceremony at 2:00, 2:30-ish every day. But I (and many others) didn't make it since we were called in for interview only after 2:00 and too late to make it. If you get a morning time, there is more chance for you to make the cut.

As for the question, I told my officer that I am hoping to take a business trip at the end of February. He said if will try to schedule my ceremony sooner, but no promises.

I hope it won't take them more than a couple weeks to schedule your oath! My interview is at 7:15AM (probably the earliest time available) so I'm still hoping for same day oath.

    Hello everyone,

I wanted to share my interview experience today. Please note that the front desk people cannot check you in more than 30 minutes to your scheduled interview appointment. For example, mine was at 1:30 and they checked me in at 1:00. I was told to go to the second floor and wait for my number to be called. Our numbers had a P-XX format. One interesting observation was the floor was packed with people waiting for their interview or oath ceremony! So, no wonder long wait times in Seattle.

After 1:20 minutes, an officer called my number and asked me to follow him to his office. He asked me to sit down to verify my identity first. He asked for my passport and green card. Took a picture and finger prints. Then he asked me to stand up and put me under oath. He started my interview with the civics test, and then used a tablet for reading and writing portions, which was super easy. Then he went through my application, asking about names, marital status, current and previous address, and any recent trips. Then we went through the long yes/no questions part.

At the end he congratulated me and said he will recommend me for approval. He asked if I have any international trips planned for new future and he said he will try to set my oath ceremony as early as possible. My online status has changed a number of times since the interview. currently it shows approved and an oath ceremony is being scheduled. There is a completion timeline, which currently says May 2019. I hope it is wrong :D

Congratulations, and thanks for sharing your experience! One thing that's disappointing to me is that they didn't schedule your oath right away; I thought same day or next day oath was their way to do it. What did you reply to the question about international travel?

I didn't receive any texts either.  Maybe confirm your email is in your account correctly?  Hoping the letters show soon... I'm eager to know when the interview is set for.

I just figured out my account wasn't set up for texts. I was getting emails though, even those bi-weekly ones... Checked everywhere: spam, junk, etc.; no email like yours. Well, I guess it's no big deal, but I expect a notice with a date to show up online soon since they (hopefully) did the scheduling yesterday...

  16. 9 minutes ago, Curve said:

Also, they don't always go in order... I suspect its more of a bucket, and they pick somewhat randomly.  This means yours is next... I would see it as a good thing, not bad.

I finally logged in to my account, and it now says they scheduled my interview!!! What an emotional roller-coaster! Thanks everyone!!!

Update: the date of the update on my account page is January 22nd. I haven't received any texts or emails, and there is no letter in the Documents tab. Should I be worried?
