Maybe look over the previous questions because follow up questions pop up based on what you answered.

Quick answer:  Send copies with Packet 3, bring originals to the interview.
 
Long answer:
 
Instructions for Packet 3 imply that a copy of the Certified Translations for the birth certificate and Single Status Certificate (along with a copy of the original Thai language versions) are to be included with submission of Packet 3.   The original certified translated documents (along with the original non translated documents) are to be brought to the interview.   Original documents brought to the interview are returned to the interviewee during the interview process.
 
Specifically, Packet 3 states at the top of page 2 "Make sure to bring the original/certified copy of all the documents with you to submit at your visa interview.   All documents not in English must be accompanied by certified English translations."
 
Note that I interpret "original/Certified Copy" as an "official copy" that has been provided to you by an official 3rd party (ie a government office, certified translator, etc).   It is not meant to be a copy of the "official copy".   So, once again, a copy of the "official copy" should be sent with packet 3, and the original "official copy" should be brought to the interview.  
 
To use your wording, a print out (ie copy) of the translations are to be included in Packet 3, but the original certified copy is to be brought to the interview.
 
In my case, the original certified copies of the translations performed at Express Translation Service included a red stamp on each page with the translators signature and date of translation.
 
I am not certain of the acceptability of using an online service.  My guess is that they would need to send you a physical copy of the translated document, as I would assume that an emailed copy would not be considered an original.   Hopefully if anyone has experience with an online translation process , they will chime in.   But, I would suggest contacting the Embassy directly to confirm that a print out of an emailed copy of a translation would qualify as an "original/Certified Copy".   It just does not sound right to me.

That is correct.   The certificate delivered by the Thai Police will be in English.

It appears you are looking at the instructions for the CR1 packet 4, not the K1 packet 4.   Easy mistake as the links for instructions for K1 and CR1 are both on the same Webpage

Yes we are probably going to have it geared toward the "farewell" thing - I'm only curious because all of this will be AFTER getting issued the visa. We won't do anything before getting it.

My GF just went to pay for her certificate Wednesday, apparently they have changed the delivery time from one month to a standard 15 days. This change occurred on Monday the  12th, Nov, 2018. She said anyone before has to wait 30 days. The fee is 100 baht for the certificate and 50 baht for postage.

In case it will help others, I've posted my personal "To Do" list for Packet 3. This is what I think I need according to the Packet 3 and Packet 4 documentation (though I still have a few questions). If you see any obvious errors, please let me know

I went to www.dhl.com clicked Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, on this page you add your search info..You change the day and month to what you think your's might have left NVC
EXAMPLE:
* Shipper´s Reference : EXP 24 MAR 2011A ( change 24 to whatever day it leaves from NVC and month to NOV and change 2011 to 2018, leave the "A"
* Date range for shipment - From: 23 - 03 - 2011

UAE is minimum 1024aed..if they determine extra is needed they can add to it. Goodness. So yep more than 220 dollars for medical. 1usd to 3.60aed

1. Need to go to their website and print off the terms of service.
2. You can try contacting them and asking for a letter that states that they do not charge a fee for their services and that they are not IMB.
3. This is your reply letter format back to USCIS. Be sure to make a copy of everything for your records, return with signature required and receipt, and send the original RFE and sign the RFE where it is asked or if not asked for sign it anyways on the bottom of the RFE with a date.
