We got a chase joint bank account. They asked us to get the ssn when I recieve one. Also, my spouse added me to his work health insurance. His HR told him to send the ssn when i get it. Also, it seems the apartment we live in and the city rules of portland, oregon are pretty relaxed. They made him primary tenant and me as roommate. We have a lease together too
Ugh, we just tried to get my husband on my account at Chase in PDX today and they told us we couldn't do it until he had a green card. 😑

Where can I check the DHL shipments? I called today and finally got my number from NVC but I don't know when it would have sent to the embassy in Rio.
Check out this doc, there are instructions in here. Courtesy of @Greenbaum

Hello Im new here,
They accepted my AOS package on August 30th, just had my biometrics apt on October 2nd. Have u guys had any other change after the biometrics yet?
Anyone else filing from Portland Or?Portland, OR here. June filer. Still twiddling our thumbs 🙄 Our status changed to "fingerprint review completes" a day or two after biometrics in July, and "ready to be scheduled" about a month ago.
EDITED because I mixed up the status changes.

It could be! I just had a look at Seattle timings, it is now 19-20.5 months, it used to be 11-25 months. Damn
EAD hurry up.
WTH 😢 I hope this is all just a ploy lower people's expectations

Yeah i noticed that too n I am hoping they do so... Lol otherwise v r going to stuck at seattle forever waiting for interview.
i know it doesnt feel good though sorry for that.I hope u get ur interview scheduled soon.
Yeah, great news for cities like Seattle for sure. The only reason I care so much is selfishly because I hate my job and really want to find a new one, just don't want to throw a wrench into the mix with a brand new job until the green card is in hand....sigh, this is why we can't have nice things.

Man, taking a huge blow today here as well on processing times... just checked the times for Portland, OR and they went from 6.5-8.5 months to 11.5-25 months Super frustrating considering the majority of April filers in Portland on VJ had their interviews in July (3 frigging months) I wonder if they started taking on Seattle cases.

l. Could anyone pls send a sample copy of their Police Clearance under the Privacy Act which was already accepted by NVC?
There are examples literally two pages back in this thread... No one is going to provide them again for you when the examples are already in here multiple times.

So I got the one boded/crossing and NVC rejected my documents, so I went to commission fingerprints and redo it’s again under privacy act, but they said it’s will be non certified and not RCMP national entire holding . So I don’t know what to request from NVC for the correct the police clearance!
You most likely have the right one now. When you get it, compare it to what others have posted about their accepted certs. There are lots of examples over and over in this thread and other threads in here.

Hello everyone, I live in canada and my police certificate was rejected and they requested me to do under privacy act! So have anyone know what it look like? And NVC accepted the new police clearance? Thank you
What kind did you get and from where? All the answers you need are in this thread.

I'll submit those as well! Better safe than sorry, I'd rather give more evidence than not enough. I had the 1040 for 2017, but not 2018, so I'll harass my husband to provide me with these forms as soon as possible, haha!
Thanks for your help!
You can get the transcripts online on the IRS website instantly. I'd say send those in along with the W2s again.

Yeah that sounds about right lol. I kept getting scared that I selected the wrong one. Hopefully that's not the case if it let us schedule the interview.
Yup sounds like you're all good!

Yeah. You apply for nonimmigrant visa when filing the DS-160 but to check the status of it you have to go back and check under immigrant Visa.
Ok good Just making sure, as there have been instances where people have checked the wrong box at the time of going in to schedule an interview, and if it's done wrong no one actually alerts you until they discover it a week or so before the interview and the consulate flat cancels it on you. I've seen it more than enough on here.

I submitted that to the embassy and they scheduled our interview without issues. I'm pretty sure they would not have done that if we requested the wrong one?
But you booked your own interview right? The embassy didn't assign you a date?

Do you have a list of these 'high fraud' countries?
Everyone says this, but I've never seen an actual list. Do you know of one??
There isn't actually a list, no. At least not an official USCIS list or anything like that. Lots of info scattered about on here and on the internet though about which countries are typically more scrutinized.
