Hey! We got our license on Monday and I gave my passport and my fiancée (USC) gave his drivers license. Very quick and smooth process. This was in NYC though but hopefully it is of some help  we get married on Friday.

They already started october...

So in the year your daughter was born in it was not recorded in an official system that she has been born? I find that crazy if there isn't such a record in Netherlands. If there is that should suffice as registration imo. 
With DNA you'll have to wait for the embassy to give you the go-ahead first and the process won't be quick.

Yes, thank you so that's exactly what I got. Uittreksel uit de geboorteakte, Dienst van de burgerlijke stand.
And still they say it's not good enough because it doesn't have the date of registration, only the date of birth. But that's how they issue it here.
 
My lawyer says I should send them a DNA test that is AABB certified. So that will be another 400 euros almost and another delay of a few months probably. Thanks USCIS for doing such a shitty job

Hang in there because they do have 30 days..but im sure it wont be that long.  I know other folks waiting more than 8 daya for a response also

Actually I have seen a couple of them getting approve in this site that are October Filers. I hope this upcoming week that all of them get their approvals so we can be next! In the mean time lest keep praying. 

I'm hoping for approval.  I know they have had my RFE for a week because it was delivered and signed for but no updates anywhere.  Waiting is a pain

You could get it in the mail. But I'm not sure about electronic notification on weekends, not sure if they're open.

Don’t worry. October is just starting. People from aug and September are still waiting. Worrying at this point is pointless.
