Question I applied for the i130 back in 2013, it got approved 2014. But we broke up soon after. Neither of us sent anything to the NVC, but 1 year letter a termination was received by the NVC stating that the case for a visa and the petition was cancelled. Since then I got into a new relationship, and we are preparing to apply for the K1 visa. Would I need a wavier to do so?  The divorce did not happen until Jan 2018, it took a while. Do I need to send in a withdrawal letter or anything like this?

We had the same situation. You will need to send a withdrawal to your local consulate.

Hi guys! I am freaking out right now! My husband just sent our petition last Monday and when I asked if he wrote the Attn: I-130 above the address, he said no!!! I am so stressed out because it might get lost. What can possibly happen if there is just the address written in that fed ex envelope?  I told him to take a photo then send it to me for approval but he just did it by himself without asking me.

There’s no where which it’s stated to do so. It certainly wasn’t on ours. Good luck

Hello, anyone know how much at least there should be for Part 3 question 3 (savings and checking accounts) and 4 (personal property) for I-134 form? Also, what is considered personal property? My fiance definitely earns more than the $20k per year. Please advise for this section?

You don’t need to say how much money you have in the ban or assets unless your income doesn’t meet the poverty guidelines and you are using those to show you have money. Good luck

Honestly that would be so great. I’m trying to not mess up and delay the process. I’m visiting home to spend my 1 year anniversary with my hubby towards the end of summer and if everything goes as planned then I’m hoping that hubby can come back home with me to the states. Can I private message you here in the nearby future? Ty so much again. And hoping for an early interview date for you guys!

    Yes, you may PM me

Ohh okay. I thought that mostly everything is still correct. I did see that you are finished with the NVC process 😅. Ty!

Hubby should receive interview date any day now. You may contact me when you receive case number and are ready to submit documents. I’ll be glad to help. We would have had a date already if I hadn’t made a very small mistake when submitting documents. I corrected it right away but they didn’t look at it fir two weeks.

    Hi!

So my petition was approved last month and I’m expecting to hear back from NVC by April so in the mean time my husband and I are gathering all the necessary documents needed for CEAC. My question is when sending the packages off, mostly in reference to the IV package- does the photocopies need to be notarized or will a unotorized photocopy work? My husband needs to send some documents over from his country and if it needs to be notarized it will take some time. Trying to plan ahead. Ty!

Most likely you will be submitting via CEAC. Nothing needs to be notarized. Just have him take pictures of everything with his phone and then upload to the site.

    Hey everyone ,

i hope everyone is doing great !

Today , again my question is why NSC is so long to process our I130?

I am somebody patient but I really start to despair ..

My priority date is August 29th 2018 , and almost 7 months of waiting .

And it’s like we will receive nothing before 10 month ( or more ) .

when I check NSC approvals , there is like nothing ..

i know that some people dont  take or has the time to update timelines and that VJ is only a piece of this huge puzzle but still ..

when i see that some people have to do inquiries because the process take over than 10 month I am worring .

today my visa approval estimation is from 19 to 24 of June 2019 .. first it was the middle of April !

So again 3 months to wait at the minimum .

and in June  my approval estimate is gonna be what , October ?

Its like Ike a story with no end . Because NOA2 is not the last piece of the process , then NVC stage etc ..

Plus , honestly to see that in other SC some people who applied after me are already approved ..I am very frustrated ..

There is nobody to talk , USCIS always give the same infos and ask to wait and wait .. the Congressman we contact doesn’t have more ..

i start to think that maybe next Christmas ( I know it’s far )  will be again away from USA ..

more infos in your side ?

sorry I know that we are all in the same boat but it start to be exhausting , no?

    A good day to y’all !!!

You just have to be patient. Our priority date is February 26,2018 and my husband still doesn’t have an interview date. It took 8 months to get NOA2 and we were at Potomac. Good luck

Because since I had already uploaded the 2017 transcript, I thought they were looking specifically for the 2018 one now. Since I uploaded the 2018 1040 they now know that I did file for 2018 so I was worried that they wouldn't proceed until I gave them 2018 transcript. But as I said in a previous post I took the advice of other members and uploaded a letter explaining why 2018 wasn't available yet along with the 2017 transcript and 2015 so they would have 3 yrs worth. So I'm just crossing my fingers that they will accept that.

That should be fine. Good luck

So I can't just upload the 2017 transcript again with a letter stating the 2018 transcript is not available to me right now but my husband will bring it to his interview? Or would they not accept that. They said if you cannot upload it then you must provide an explanation about why...

Hi, in your original post you said the wanted 2017 or 2018 so why are you belaboring the  2018 thing? If you have it they would rather that as it would be the most recent but it isn’t what they require.

hi guys! so i submitted all my CEAC documents about a week or so ago and all the included supporting documentation. When i log onto my CEAC account under affidavit and civil documents it says "completed" and under fees it says "paid" and under IV application it says "completed" so it seems from this view i have submitted all documents and am waiting for them to get back to me? however when i log on on the CEAC website under " check immigration status" it says required documents.... and its saying i have to upload all of the above documents.  has this happened to anybody? do you think it just hasnt been updated or that the documents have not been uploaded properly? as we all know the worst thing is to think your visa is moving up in the line and youre actually at a stand still. tried calling NVC but they are so backed up they arent taking any calls. any insight into this would be greatly appreciated!

If it says completed, you’re just waiting for interview date to be scheduled. I’m st the same place. If that helps.

    Hi everyone,

I'm applying for a CR-1 spouse visa. I'm a Canadian living and working in Turkey, my wife is going between Turkey and Minneapolis. We don't quite meet the financial requirements, so we also have a sponsor, her father, who lives in Minneapolis. We're at the stage where we have submitted civil documents and affidavits / evidence. When I go to the CEAC site and log in, everything is fine for me: IV fee PAID, IV application COMPLETED, civil documents ACCEPTED -- I submitted my last civil document on Oct. 18, 2018. Everything also seems fine where my wife is concerned, her Affidavit and Support Fees are listed as PAID, and Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence are ACCEPTED; she completed submission of all documents on Oct. 20, 2018.

The problem seems to be with my father in law, whose Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence are listed as SUBMITTED. He has submitted 7 documents, and they are all listed as ACCEPTED, except for one, his passport, which is listed as SUBMITTED. He uploaded the biographic data page of the passport on Oct. 20, 2018. On Nov. 20, we got a message in our inbox, asking us to submit proof of my father in law's citizenship, e.g. biographic data page of passport; the same day, we got a second message: "We are unable to accept these documents as uploaded. Please delete these documents and submit them under the correct document name." I assume they're referring to the passport, but the system doesn't allow us to delete it. We've tried writing and calling, with no success -- any suggestions? I'd be very, very grateful. Thank you.

Ok, so I’ve had to resubmit the biographic page of my husband’s passport so I’ve done this. When you click on the passport to submit it asks if you want to “replace” just click on that link. Hope this helps.
