I didn’t key in my receipt number just so I could talk to the representative. My status is also the same (case was received) since I had biometrics and even after calling them. I will call again after 45 days from my biometrics if it remains the same . 

FYI there are people who did their biometrics in October and November and haven't had any updates since. I had biometrics December 26th, and my AOS changed to "ready to be scheduled" on March 20th, but nothing since then, and my EAD/AP have been "received" since December 10th. Lower your expectations and you'll be just fine  

I had my bio 29th of March and status is still the same on both sites. I called USCIS about it and they confirmed that they Got my bio and it’ll take 30-45 days to update the website. 

My now husband is LOSING HIS MIND with boredom. But it seems better every week. I work very long hours...leave the house at 6:45am and am not usually back before 7pm (used to be much later, but I'm leaving earlier now that he's here).  He does a lot of cooking (which is AMAZING for me), is reading a lot, has made a few friends at the local pub (he's irish, so to the pub he goes!), goes running, and does errands...he is studying for the driving test, got his medical done today for the driving test, opened a bank account, went to the social security office, is signing up to volunteer at the fire house, and just started taking guitar lessons. Honestly, he is so bored and not used to not working. He's worked with barely a vacation for 25 years!! But I think he's getting more used to the idea that he doesn't actually HAVE to work for the first time in his life. For me it's wonderful because he cleans, goes to the supermarket every day, cooks dinner every night, etc. Not a bad deal  But I feel for him. It's so hard to be in a new place and know nobody. It takes serious guts!! I can't imagine what it feels like. I am in awe of all of you who have picked up your life and started over. It's crazy brave!

I finally got the courage to check my USPS tracking status again and it was delivered yesterday!! 😁 I feel sooooo much better! I can be patient now. I don't think I will ever use USPS again lol.

Congrats on your approval as well! And yes we just got the shipment and a delivery date of tomorrow! CEAC also not updates yet for us.

I did my ds 160 when the status of my case number says “READY” on the website. And I cant remember which number I used for it. 
 
Montreal will have to send you the packet 4 for you to be able to pay visa and schedule an interview.

you can check the status using your case number and it will say “ready” if montreal has it.

Woke up to an email saying we are approved.
 
Dec 7 with no RFE

I’m still waiting also. I never received an RFE though. Just 257 days of nothing.

As always I'm hoping those waiting on RFE responses get approvals this week!

Alright guys it happened, we got APPROVED!

I called this morning and the agent seem reluctant to give me any information after I told her I was the beneficiary. She asked what I wanted and I very kindly said that we're reaching 8 months and the last thing we heard was that our case was received. She then said we were approved. I then asked if she was sure lol she said she was. Then I said its because we've been waiting so long that I wanted to make sure. She then proceeded to tell me that it was approved yesterday and went to to repeat my case number and repeat our names and birth-dates. Then she said I haven't heard anything online because they're having problems with their systems. I still could not believe it and neither could my fiancee so she called them too and they also informed her that it was approved. Im gonna trust the two agents lol So I believe its official guys!

No updates as of yet on any of the two sites btw. 

I know the journey is just beginning but I wanted to thank everyone for the support so far and thank everyone for the prayers and wishful thinking!

Yes January filer. Still nothing from USCIS. My fiance will call again tomorrow. Hopefully we’ll hear something this week.
