Wondering what people’s timeframe is from receiving their NOA2 to scheduling their interview in Monteal and receiving their visa? Wondering about K1 fiancé specifically. Thanks!

The current average from NOA2 to interview (from VJers) in Montreal is about 80 days... so in terms of actually booking the interview, about a month less than that. So about 50 days?

K1 Visa:
Filed I-129f 4/14/2018
Interview 3/27/2019 (Approved)
Visa received 4/4/2019

AOS:
Filed I-485, I-131, I-765 6/21/2019

NOA1 6/24/2019

Biometrics 7/15/2019

EAD/AP Approved 11/12/2019

Interview 2/20/2020 (Approved pending missing medical)
Approved 3/23/2020

ROC:
Filed I-751 2/15/2022

Case Received 2/17/2022
Text message received 2/22/2022

NOA1 Recieved 2/26/2022
Biometrics Waved 3/28/2022

^ this is accurate!

My NOA 2 was August 8, booked my interview on September 28 and the earliest appointment available was October 17, which I took!

How long did it take to get your Privacy Act certificate? I’ve been waiting awhile using a third party RCMP accredited company.

Did not have a Privacy Act certificate. Went with Border Crossing with picture/finger prints and a name check but the Border Crossing took just 4 weeks to arrive.

Mine took 7 days and I requested it from the local commissionaire's office. It might be taking a while due to the rotating Canada Post strike!

Is it normal to wait 2+ weeks for the packet 3? Our application has been ready since nov 2, and still no packet 3. Also, theyve touched the application (case updated twice on ceac tracker with 2 different dates) twice already but still no email.

I'd say probably. You could try sending in packet 3 anyway... But 2 weeks is probably still within average I'd say & not to worry about.

Our P3 took about 4 weeks to arrive. P4 only took about 2 days after submitting P3 requirements. So things really start to speed up once you get to this point.

Our NOA2 was August 22, and we booked my interview in mid  October. Interview is on this coming Wednesday. We could have booked an earlier appointment, but with personal schedules and trying to figure out the police certificates, this worked best for us in the end.

I'm in the same boat as you. Still waiting on packet 3 as well
