The language on the NJ dmv website is tricky regarding Real ID for us on an extension letter but hopefully this will help others in the same situation  

Great news, didn't think you could get Real ID. Believe we chatted about this before. 
 
I contacted all my local NJ govt and assembly people and one of them was helping me get an appointment at the MVC. I ended up getter her an appointment by luck, I signed onto the scheduling site and found an appointment the SAME DAY! She did have a 2 week period of no license as we waited for the NOA1. 

Little update that may be useful for NJ applicants who need to renew their licenses: My license (and my GC) expire tomorrow but I was able to renew it today into a Real ID valid until 9/22.
 I mention this because license renewal appointments were not available until later in April and I wouldn’t have been able to drive for awhile but Real ID appointments seem to be easier to get (I could’ve scheduled at an earlier date but I was concerned my NOA wouldn’t arrive on time). 

Got my i751 approved yesterday.

I wrote as myself, from my point of view. I'm the beneficiary and even though my USC husband is signing the form, I'm the beneficiary AND the petitioner. So it just made more sense for me to do it this way. I also wrote the cover letter as myself and not a third person. 
 
Either way I highly doubt it matters, they just want to see the evidence and explanation if needed. Who wrote them is likely not anything that matters at all. Technically it's a joint filing, so..

It's probably the best evidence for proving a bona fide relationship. For anyone that disputes this, every lawyer I've spoken to has confirmed this, and at our AOS interview the first thing we were asked for is the birth cert of our child (we sent ultrasound pics in the application). After we handed it to him, he literally said "well this will be easy an easy one" - we were out of there in 5 minutes. 
 
The converse is not true, however. Not having a  child together is not necessarily evidence against a bona fide relationship.

Our package was received 2nd Jan... Money order Cashed 4th Feb and getting letter today.

Good morning everyone! Some good news this morning, I have a pending charge as of today for $680 from USCIS on my credit card! 
Package sent on 01/05 and received on 01/06.
Things are moving a little faster than it was a month ago and hopefully my NOA arrives next week!

Oh, I feel you. Yes, call and request a callback from a level 2 officer. Be prepared to be on hold for a looong time. Once you get the date -if necessary- reschedule on the phone. I was told by the Level 2 that you cannot do that. Well, when I got the letter, it clearly states the only way you can reschedule now is by phone. There's really no point on waiting for the letter.

I do not rememebr. We left our cellphones in the car just in case. For the fingerprints for example they asked that they be turned off. So i left mine in my car, no point of bringing it in if they will be off. 

Thank you for the suggestion! I've done that and I also downloaded the USCIS tracker app. Quick question, were you allowed in with your cellphones? Unbelievable that they didn't allow you to bring your baby's milk in!🤦‍♀️
