AL-MJD got a reaction from Cyberfx1024 in Required Annulment Documents
    Hi Adam.

Diclaimer here, I'm not pinoy. I'm just somebody who used to work in an employment agency so I may be wrong.

You have to be quite precise here, did she divorce or was her marriage annulled? If it was truly an annullment, she should be able to apply for a CENOMAR with PSA.
    read here:
    https://psa.gov.ph/civilregistration/requesting-civil-registry-document/cenomar

If she was divorced, she should look up the family lawyer she undertook at that time. She should be able to get a certified copy. She should make at least 3.

Otherwise, has your fiancé tried to contact PSA and ask if they could redeliver her documents?

Don't forget. VJers are here to help you. If you have any questions at all about how we go about certain requirements, how we answer certain questions in the forms, what documents are needed to prove certain things, even how to make payment.

We are here to help eachother. All you need is to make some time and have some patience to complete the petition.

Half the time on here that's what we see. Someone thought they did a good thing by hiring a lawyer and the lawyer ends up wasting more time than if they did it themselves. We have seen lawyers forget to add required documents, not respond to RFE's, and some just outright lied.

I always tell people if you have a straight forward case then do it yourself and save the money.

Within the US, yes. Should be fine with passport and copy of NOA1 for the I-485. Just do not take any flights where you have a layover anywhere out of the country.

Example: Flying to Anchorage, Alaska and layover in Canada somewhere. Take a direct flight.

Hmm all I can say is what it is. So the inquiry completed. And they don't always send an email, so you may get it in the mail like many others did.
    Now?

Thanks for the kind words. I'm going to hang in as long as I can. Hopefully she will change her mind and message, or call me back. Maybe when/If we get approved she will talk again?? Who Knows, but I decided I'm not going to withdraw as I have waited this long.

I'm sorry, something is up with my edit function. Please read this too.

I accidentally pressed submit reply without the following info:

Prior MMR and TDaP vaccinations are only valid if taken 10 years before the medical. If there is no prior vaccination, i.e. in childhood, MMR vaccinations consist of two doses, on the zeroth week and on the fourth week. I am not sure how many doses are TDaP shots. I did 4 the first time in my childhood when I was just a baby.

There are many Singapore medicals where TDaP vaccination is substituted with a DT vaccination which is basically TDaP, just without the Pertussis. Why, I can't be too sure.

Varicella (chicken pox) vaccinations are also only valid if taken 10 years before the medical. This can be skipped if the beneficiary can prove (s)he have had chicken pox before; by medical history or by taking an antibody titre test, which is often cheaper than the shot. Varicella is also a 2-doses vaccination, on the zeroth week and anywhere between the fourth and eighth week.

Polio is 3 shots, years apart.
HepB is 3 shots, zeroth month, first month and sixth month.

DISCLAIMER: The above is how SINGAPORE does vaccinations.

Influenza shot is only expected during flu season. New strains happen anytime in a year. This is one shot.

Beneficiary is expected to keep track. Medical notes must have name of doctor/nurse who administered the shot, the name of organisation or clinic the doctor belongs to, medical name of the vaccination and date it is taken. This, at least, have to be presented during the medical in Singapore.

Lastly, if the beneficiary have not had vaccination as a child and turns up to the medical with no vaccinations done, the vaccinations that require more than one dose will be done such that one dose is taken during the Visa medical, and the beneficiary will be approved the Visa, but the remaining doses have to be taken before permanent residency/green card.

They do security checks at every stage as well as visa pre-processing, this thread might be a good read. On the bright side, the NVC is a lot faster than USCIS so hopefully won't be waiting too long.

After an approved interview in Montreal, you are to surrender your passport at the Canadian consulate, and they will mail it back to you in 3-5 business days with your K1 Visa physically attached inside the passport pages.

With this being said, I have not read anywhere on this or any other immigration website that your Nexus card can be used in substitution of your passport for this purpose - as there is no where on your Nexus card to physically attach the K1 Visa onto.

Safe bet - get your passport renewed.

    Good luck!

It depends on the embassy, your embassy will send you instructions.

normally you take them to the interview, but some embassies ask them to be sent before the interview.
