Haven't been around much lately, but I am so happy you got your NOA2 last week! Congrats!

Yes! 180 days? That would have been easy compared to how much most June filers waited...
 
Took us 230 days, wouldn't wish that on anyone...

We actually consider this good at the moment, the wait time for June was on average of 190-220+ days. So I'll be happy if it's even only 180 days...

It would be super super awesome to see how those numbers relate to different Service Centers (Texas, California....) 😁

what about the financial support document ?  What is the required income? Is there a clear conditions to be met?
 
Also I am confused by the medical exams. What tests are usually performed? What type of vaccine are needed? I feel I don’t have any vaccine record before, does that mean I need to take all the vaccines? How long does it usually take to get the vaccine? Will that be a long waiting period again?

Hey all! Just wanted to pop in and let everyone know Paul passed his interview last week! We haven’t sat down together to share a more detailed review of the experience, which we will before I leave, but I wanted to post something before then. His papers from the medical hadn’t arrived yet (he had it just the week before), but they told him everything else looked good and they just had to wait on that, so they went ahead and took his passport. We found out they received his papers on Tuesday so we’ve been checking the status of his case this week to find out when it’s been updated. So hopefully the visa will be on its way soon!!!
 
We’ve been super busy while I’ve been here doing so many things, mostly of course celebrating, so we haven’t had a chance to sit down and reply folks on here. We will be sharing more detail on our experience before I leave, particularly for our fellow Swedes :), and share some things we found interesting (FYI the American will not be allowed into the embassy with the beneficiary).

yeah. I've been busy getting ready to go back to the Philippines. I am leaving in 2 weeks. I am so excited.

Again, thank you for sharing this.  That is exactly what we are going through except I need to buy her "dream house" since my 1 bedroom apartment won't be a great option.  In my American eyes that is a big house with a fireplace and huge yard.  For her it is a small house where we can be comfortable.  Filipino women are truly amazing.  While I was stressing over the American "bigger is better" she was only looking for comfort for her and the kids.  I guess sometimes my idea of the "perfect" welcome to America is not actually what they truly need.  They need safety and comfort and I am going to give them that.  
 
I guess we all need to have that "heart to heart" talk with our SO.  That can really relieve some of the stress (real or perceived) that we put on ourselves.

Just received our NOA2 in the mail today. We can't stop smiling, so happy that this first step is done!

That's not selfish. I wish they did come in a normal order too! I mean I understand there would still be people left because of different reasons but I wish they did it a little more firmly at least!
 
howeverr I'm not scanning March and April... and when I think I'm almost sure they are not that far off from this situation... then I think it would be crazy to expect them to do that... cause I don't think not having the main power is the only issue here...
