Most of the larger airlines fall under the government contractor EO 14043 since they fly government employees or cargo at a discounted rate.  This includes Delta, as well as FedEx, Spirit, American, United, etc.  It's quite the reach, but that's how the Hiden administration is pushing it down to the majors.

What Bastion did at Delta was basically monetarily incentivize his employees, as well as punish the unvaxxed by charging them $200 per month more for health insurance (ironic that the clinically obese and smokers don't have to pay more).  So while he technically isn't going to push the mandate on Delta employees, he essentially DID push them financially a month or two back.

No. Sputnik will never be recognized by the CDC, I don’t mean to go down some political rabbit hole but it simply never will be accepted in the US. Note that Europe doesn’t even accept Sputnik, save for few countries (like Greece and Hungary) who either imported the vaccine early on or want to encourage tourists from Eastern Europe.
 
Further, it appears as if the rules state a WHO approved vaccine for medical, though the jury’s still out on what vaccine you’ll need to get on the plane. Sputnik being approved by WHO isn’t as unrealistic as approval by the CDC (which chance is virtually 0 imo), but considering Sputnik was the first COVID vaccine, I wouldn’t hedge your bets on it. I presume you have no access to Johnson/Janssen?

A buddy of mine (from SA) got a B1/B2 visa while his i-130 was pending (and he had a denial beforehand). They asked why he couldn't wait for his CR1 to come through and he told them the reason for his visit. He gave convincing evidence on why he wouldn't adjust status (job, housing contract, other strong ties to SA). I believe he wasn't given a 10 year visa but a shorter term but he did receive a non-immigrant visa after that interview.
Your spouse should be totally honest with the interviewer about why he needs to be with you and show that he will indeed return to SA after the surgery/ recovery. 

Bumping my own thread. Would really like some veterans to weigh in on my dilemma and put my mind at ease. Should I just relax and see if my passport comes back with the visa stamped? The CGI document drop off guy said my passport will be returned to me in 7 to 10 days. Does that mean I get the visa or does that mean it can go both ways? Another worry is a scenario where I get the first dose AstraZeneca vaccine tomorrow, have my visa approved, I move to America, they don't recognize the first dose and I end up having to take a cocktail of another 2 doses of Pfizer or Moderna. I don't wanna end up like the guy in this meme.

Get a good family law attorney and ask if your boyfriend is expected to pay child support, and if so, what actions are available to you.  He may find it difficult in the US and go back to Guyana eventually, or be deported, and when he does he may be liable for paying you.  An attorney may be able to convince your boyfriend to send money to you.  So sorry this has happened, good luck!

Well according to that article 88% of eligible Vermont residents are vaccinated.  It states that 76% of the deaths, come from this pool of 88% of the population.  That means that the 12% of eligible Vermont residents who are not vaccinated accounted for 22% of the deaths.  A PER CAPITA death rate nearly twice as high as the vaccinated population.
 
But what is even more notable about the article is that there were only 33 deaths in Vermont during the entire month of September.  Compare that to a state like Texas.  PER CAPITA Texas is having as many deaths every 4 or 5 days as Vermont has in a month.  It is entirely likely that even the unvaccinated population in Vermont is benefiting from less exposure to disease due to having such a high percentage of vaccinated neighbors. 
 
The article does kind of make a good case for boosters though.  Perhaps many of the 33 that died could have been saved too if the had boosters.
