    On the 17th, my EAD was approved. My AOS was also put forward for an interview, but nothing scheduled yet.

    I am horrified at some of the suggestions on here. If you NEED an emotional support animal, by all means, register your dog as one, but don’t do it for the free ticket. People who do that are jeopardising the whole process for people who actually need one.

    Thank you so much for all the replies. It definitely helped calm my nerves. I woke up today to an “issued” status on the CEAC page (I know I know, I said that I wouldn’t check! Lol)

    I am aware that the next stage is going to be hard too but manageable because I will be with my family. It’s hard being apart and not having your confidant to lean on during times like this.

    I thought I’d check one last time and it has been changed to non immigrant! Finally a change! But I’ll do what you’ve said. It’s hard because my dog is already over there despite all the “don’t book anything etc etc” so I not only miss my fiancée but my god do I miss my dog lol

    Finding a game playing spouse is even harder than immigration visa. At least my wife doesn't think I shouldn't be playing video games at this age.
