HI! Got approved today! I guess I'll welcome myself to the second waiting room.... NVC! OH God! ehheheh   Why is this process such a pain in the butt?????

Just received Packet 4 and our interview is scheduled on May 15! Need to schedule the medical asap and fingers crossed! 

Don't mind me starting to lurk here in preparation for my own NVC process.
I'm sorry its all taking longer than expected. Sending thoughts and prayers your way. You're in the home stretch now sweethearts. You can do this.

There is a good possibility you will receive a RFE and then you can correct the error. I recommend to everyone when you are filling out the documents, please let the other person proof read it for errors before submitting. Get a free on-line cloud account with Google drive and store all your documents there. This way you both have access to the documents and can proof read and make changes. During your journey if something gets lost or misplaced you can refer to your Google drive account. https://www.google.com/drive/

My case arrived at the NVC exactly 2 weeks(April 16) after receiving my NOA2 soft copy(April 2) then 1 day to receive the case #(April 17). It was sent to my embassy after 2 days(April 19) and it arrived at the embassy after 1 day (April 20).

Our status just changed to R E A D Y! OMG This is surreal. Oh wow, time to get to scheduling lol

Guys just remainder,make sure that you make copy of NOA2 letter,you will need that copy when you file for AOS

My fiance moved to different address too and im  nervous because i dont want them to sent letter to old address,yes everything is so complicated

Yeah at least most of NVC is nicer people  

I think I will start calling next Monday, 23rd April. Oh, that's my birthday. Hahaha
 
From what i read here, it takes around 16 days (including weekend) to get a case number. In Australia, looking at dates, I think they only do K1 visa interview on the last Tuesday of each month. So I have a feeling my interview date would be 26th June. Fingers crossed~~~~

I'm really hoping it doesn't take long because I want my fiance to have his interview mid June so hoping late June/early July POE. I'm so excited.

Well, I just made my first call to NVC...spoke to a young man named Gilbert.  I don't think Gilbert had a good day...he advised that it could take NVC up to 8 weeks to receive my paperwork and then another 6 weeks to generate a file number.  I thanked him and thought to myself that I hope someone else answers tomorrow because I don't think Gilbert and I are ever going to be close.   I did find it interesting that while Gilbert was checking my case, he noted that the last entry was when they received my case back in October.  Do you think I should have given him the new website address so he could check there....lol

Yes you need a original it says on thr NOA2 letter,make sure that she make copy of it because you will need when you do AOS
