How bad is the citizenship test

It had got pretty heated with being called certain names cause i posted while i was frustrated, so some have taken it the wrong way. We all say things in the wrong way while being frustrated to be able to vent for stress relief.

How were you able to reschedule? Online, email or over the phone? I have been doing all three without any luck.
We just constantly emailed and made phone calls

Seems they don't give out the paper instructions anymore. Anyway, you don't need it. Both the DOS case number and the A-number are on the IR1 visa itself --
(Thanks to @Lucky Cat for the sample visa pic)
So the mnl number is classified the DOS#

Correct. Then in 3 years (minus 90 days) she can file the N-400 for naturalization
Did you pay the GC fee, $220 ? https://my.uscis.gov/uscis-immigrant-fee/
Was not given paper at end of interview showing the DOS and A number to pay green card

@Murph4865, Ah, but the journey is far from over. You will finally have your wife here.
But there will be many more things to do...
Like what to keep the AC on, my wife says to close it when it's 99 degrees in Alabama this week.
There are no Mo-Mo's in the woods behind the house.
I had to learn that rice IS a major food group and yes, rice for almost every meal is almost mandatory.
Teaching her to drive. And that just because you don't see a police officer, you cannot just run the stop sign.
Also, those signs on the sides of the roads do mean something... like sharp curve ahead and stop.
Trying to convince her that you cannot stop and take pictures in someone's yard because it has nice flowers growing in it.
Coming into the house after she has cooked anything with shrimp paste and trying to get that awful smell out of the house.
See... the fun has just started!!
(By the way, this was posted in fun. And is in no way done to make fun of anyone)
Congratulations on getting her here with you.
I totally understand in fun, i have become accustomed to eating rice since meeting her and flying over through out the yrs.

Still at sputum collection part. I estimate 3 to 4 months to visa if I'm lucky. Or another year if I'm extra unlucky and get forced to do the 6-month treatment.
Anyway, I'll be rooting for your wife on the 5th. Safe travels to her and good luck!
Thank u, i am not leaving here i will be rooting for you also.

Yes, I find that strange too. But I have read reports of shortened visa validity dates also for others who had to do sputum testing. Which is worrying for me since I'm now part of that club...
After you pay the $220 fee for the GC, yes, no more fees to USCIS until filing N-400 for citizenship in 3 years minus 90 days after her US arrival.
How close are you to ending process

What is the expiry date on the visa? If it says August 7th like we expected based on the medical, wouldn't flying on the 5th be cutting it too close?
Now once we get her SS and 10yr Green card there is nothing else or fees to do until we file for citizenship in 2.5 yrs correct?

If you don’t get a call from 2Go I would just go to the office if you designated MOA 2GO for pickup. See if she gets a text today. If not I’d have her go tomorrow and ask. Your time is too tight.
Weird thing about it, it showed issued on monday morning but we just received the email yesterday tuesday, which said 2 to 3 days

I took a screen shot of 2go website and gave to wife she was gonna start calling about visa all numbers or most of them are not working.
she walked across to Robinsons down from SLEC to the 2Go office there to inquire, she found a guy that lives in same province and town she does and he told her most of the numbers are under reconstruction what ever that means.
They exchanged numbers and he will be working at the Sm Mall Asia where we are suppose to pick up visa so hopefully he will text her to let her know we can pick it up today. Keeping fingers crossed.
Just to warn anyone trying to get a hold of 2go the numbers are down most locations MANILA AREA

These days they e-mail them a temporary "e-certificate" with a QR code and promise to send the sticker by courier at some later date. Although the probability of eventual delivery of an actual physical sticker is reported to be on the low side lately.
My wife got her CFO paper and i the sticker back in 2017 so she is good

How is locking everything down again gonna save the economy, it my way of thinking it kills it does not save it. This world will inflate number anywhere and everywhere to control the people so they are scared and it will become a socialistic world where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer and die from famine.

With all the turmoil with immigration scheduling if you can get a date set and can make it to interview take it, very hard to re-schedule with the massive backlog around the world. You got this and good luck.
