The embassy actually went into the system and changed our information for us as I had sent an email to them stressing to not mail the visa and passport to the address in the system.  That was the province address and Cagayan had just gone into another lockdown and it would be weeks before we could get there.  We were locked out of the US govt system though as they had already sent us one visa until it was stolen.  Once you have concluded your interview, the system will lock itself.  The embassy had to manually go in and change everything for us.

The embassy called my fiance again to confirm the pickup location.  It was a Filipino working at the embassy who called and they were helpful to update the system to have everything switched over to pick up at the 2go office in Makati.  You may want to follow up with another email to confirm what steps you need them to do.  Once I had the attention of the embassy, everything was smooth and they were helpful, but problem was getting the attention of the embassy.  Also, in your email, you may want to ask them what the visa expiration date will be so you can plan to that exact date.

Ok, if we got medical stamp in march when started the medical 6 months from there is Sept but after sputum and result come back in may and she got vaccinations  she was told she had to fly out no later then Aug that is only 5 months on the medical why the difference of 1 month?

Our experience was 2.5 weeks from the time they had the required documents.  That was the time it took the embassy to process everything, plus another day or two to pick up at the 2go office.  If you are really tight on time, you need to designate pickup at a specific 2go office.  They will probably call your wife and ask her if she can get to the US by the visa expiration date.  They called us to check on this.

We tried and tried to register for pick up on site but would not let us in to register

I plan on having her stay in manila to pick it up at 2go so i can book flight right out, but interview is real tight right now med expires on aug 7 they say she has to fly out by then, but that is only month since she got med stamp and she is vaccinated already after sputum results in may

I am somewhat expecting it even though she was cleared 4 months ago. What really upsets me is that they stamp the medical date as when you first went in for your medical not when you completed it. That's why we are in this mess to begin with. With sputum the medical takes about 9 weeks. Takes another 8 weeks to reschedule interview. Got a 221g at interview. Sent docs requested and 2 weeks to process. Whoops your medical is almost expired, you will need to do it again....

I am running into same thing, but i do not understand why the medical is 6 months but they say we only have until like august to fly out when we was stamped back in march for starting of medical.  My wife was told was you get flagged for a sputum you will always be flagged for it again for each medical you go through no matter what.

After a dozen emails sent and multiple calls she was told that they finally looked at our request July 2nd and to watch for the email for schedule but we are now at the  3 week mark to fly out and still no interview re-scheduled, this is nothing but a money sink so the Phils can keep milking the money and not allowing the spouse to leave.

Have you ever been given an initial interview yet? We had our original interview but missed it due to sputum testing. Ours was a reschedule and also her SLEC will expire on 8/8. I think that is why mine was auto escalated and scheduled. I have no idea how it works though.

Well you are doing K-1 which is a whole other circumstance and I feel for you.

Yes it was back on march 26th but due to sputum, and she has already got her vaccines and all just waiting on reschedule interview.  Our stuff expires 8/7

I feel your pain. I have not been with my wife and 2 sons since 3/1/20. You need a valid reason to go as well. Missing them would most likely be a reason for them to allow. I am requesting based on my wife getting her visa (hopefully very soon) and needing me to help her and our sons travel to here. Don't know if that is enough to get exemption but we will see.

Been over two yrs since i seen my wife physically, since 3/7/19 when i left to come back to USA after getting married

By sending to the email address above mine was automatically expedited. I made no request to expedite or give any reasons for expedite.

My wife snd i have sent email after email and she has contacted them via phone and still nothing on new interview date i am getting fed up.

I am in the same boat as you. With the very limited flights thee fares are VERY expensive right now. Are you planning to go there and bring her back? Or is she flying alone. Where did you email to try and get rescheduled? My wife's SLEC is expiring 8/8 and her interview was rescheduled and it was yesterday. That didn't go well either and our window is shrinking. She may end up having to do the medical again.

We emailed the link that @angeljolie had said in previous post, call me a conspiracy nut but i think they are doing this to get more money out of us and see how many of us will just say heck with it.

sorry what you may have to go through please keep in touch to keep updated.

Huh?  "suppose to get interview and passport/visa and fly out" before a particular date does not work when you are applying for a US visa.  Certainly hope you did not make nonrefundable flight bookings.

I have not bought any plane fairs as of yet, waiting for interview and to get passport and visa back. That ticket will be expensive being last minute purchase

  10. I have sent off 2 emails my wife has sent 2 also plus she has called and still have not heard anything for a rescheduling the medical they say expires 8/7/21 we are suppose to get interview and passport/ visa and fly out before that date this is getting to be a bunch of hogwash.

Why is it taking so long for the interview to be scheduled though?

I submitted my application to the USCIS march 2020 and the case was sent to the NVC and became documentarily qualified by the end of October 2020, that's only 8 months for the full USCIS and NVC processes, now it's been 7 months since October 2020 and the interview isn't being scheduled

What I can do to get it scheduled ASAP

There is nothing you can do to hurry the process it all depends on the embassy you are going through and when they will have spots available for interview, once you are DQ then your app is put in order accordingly.  I had to wait 2 yrs for the interview for my wife in the Philippines and still got nailed on the sputum test which set us back 2 months farther trying to be rescheduled and receive passport n visa back to fly out before august 7th. You may be waiting 2 yrs minimum to get interview.

Glad you received a response. The calendar on CGI is disabled. The only thing you can do there is to go to the "Provide Feedback" tab and request for the rescheduling of your wife's appointment. Emails sent to support-philippines@ustraveldocs.com are also loaded into this feedback form. So, since you got a response to the email you sent, you can go to CGI "Provide Feedback " tab and verify this. It will tell you whether your request is still with the call center (in which case the status is "new") or if it has been transferred to the embassy already (case status "escalated to post").

One email says new on it next email shows escalated to post, so does that mean they will hurry and get to mine relatively pretty quick

  13. I would like to thank @flicks1998 @angeljolie and @Hank for their help in this matter of Re-scheduling here is a update i sent a email to support-philippines@ustraveldocs.com suggested by @angeljolie which i did not think it was going through cause of it always bouncing back as undeliverable but apparently they did receive it some how or a copy of it.

I sent it the morning of the 12th philippine time and gmail constantly retries for like 48 hrs but to my surprise we received a email back on the morning of the 16th and the 17th letting us know it is still in process and being escalated and we should hear something back with in 1 to 2 business days ( holding breathe ) that it comes to fruition.

I tried the cgi and there is no calendar available to schedule so that was a bust, tried the 703 number listed and nothing come from that wife had tried the local embassy number listed but nothing from that not sure if she tried the Skype aspect of it but we did receive a email from ustraveldocs so now we wait.  I will keep all updated.  Thanks again

Did you try filling out the public inquiry form? I’ve read that they don’t respond much to those though, even with us, I’ve filled out the inquiry form many times and no reply. But maybe you’ll get lucky.

Also, you should call the embassy through web call. It’s free and I got through after a few times.

What do u mean web call, i can not find anything else for numbers other then what is listed. Email or links or phone numbers do not work.

  15. I am trying to reschedule my wifes usem interview after going through the sputum test for cr1/ir1 case original interview was march 26th but every link and email address i try nothing works our medical expires on sept 7th was told we have to be able to fly out by august 7th but i can not get anything to go through email wise comes back undeliverable.  I am at a loss even the number to call of 703 520 2235 does not lead anywhere, what else can be done?  I do not want to have to do another full medical and wait another year.

Right. But again, this is just my observation based on the info available online from other applicants' accounts. Applicants who request rescheduling seem to be getting appointments quicker versus those who have been documentarily qualified and are waiting for interview appointments. It looks like the embassy considers the validity of the medical exams of those who were given interview appointments before. But I would say I was also very persistent in following up with the embassy (I sent several follow up emails and called them several times as well).

Just found out wife was cleared should i attach anything to email to for re-scheduling of interview like her vaccination report or anything.

USEM has announced that, effective May 1st, this email address will be outgoing only.

I have successfully rescheduled an appointment by sending a request to support-philippines@ustraveldocs.com. The wait was 3.5 weeks before I received my new appointment, which was in another 3 weeks from their notice. In my email, I emphasized that I was requesting for RESCHEDULING. They aren't prioritizing cases that have not been given prior interviews, but don't quote me on this; it's just an observation based on other applicants' accounts.

Here are the channels you can use to request for a new appointment. When I emailed them, I attached my vaccination worksheet and my first interview letter from the embassy.

    1. USEM inquiry form - https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/immigrant-visa-inquiry-form/

    2. Email to support-philippines@ustraveldocs.com

    3. Call center - https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-main-contactus.asp

    4. CGI portal - “Provide Feedback” http://cdn.ustraveldocs.com/ph/

Our original interview was set for March 26th so we was there to do it when she was doing her medical, what you are saying then since we had one scheduled we could be possibly prioritized then since it was gonna happen before.

    I hope they are.

I second this. I will also add that if her birth was registered late, let her bring early life documents (e.g., baptismal certificate, school report cards, old IDs, etc). The embassy has been notorious for picking on late registered births, issuing applicants 221g left and right.

We have gotten cfo done already got it done back in 2017 when we was trying K1 route so we now have to use the phililipine@ustraveldocs.com in order to get a interview rescheduled, this whole system is getting more and more messed up.

This is what I would do and what I did after we had the passport with visa stolen, we had very limited time to get into the US.  After we got the new passport, I immediately sent an email to USEM and told them what happened and the timeline.  I waited to the new passport was received to tell them the situation.

Once its confirmed the sputum test is OK, send an email to USEM.  You need to be proactive.  Put in your Subject line something like this:  "MNL#XXXXXXXX, Spouse Last Name, First Name, Reschedule of Interview, Passed Sputum test, Medical Expire: August 7"

In the body of your email use bullet points if your going to convey alot of information.  Emphasize in the email that you are ready now for an interview and can be there at anytime.  Send your email to them between 530-6am on the morning of a business day that they are open.  Avoid holidays.  This way your email will be at the top of the long list of emails that come in.  Most people will read emails top-down.  After 3 full business days, if you do not get a response, full up with a 2nd email but change your subject line to "2nd email: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (all the same info you had in the first email subject line).

I did the above and got an immediate response about needing the new visa put in the new passport.  USEM (unbelievably) was extremely responsive (I had responses by the next business day) and once they had received the new passport, actually called us multiple times to make sure we could get into the US before visa expiration.  You have 3 months, but thats not alot of time as it may take a month or more to schedule the interview, plus it will take about 3 weeks to get the visa after the interview.  Elect to pick up the visa at MOA 2GO if you can.  Thats the fastest way.  If you are in the province, you will lose another week (3-5 days) of time if its mailed there.

Not sure if this will work, but as I said, I did something similar and we made it to the US with 5 days to spare on the visa.  Just be proactive.

Do you by chance have email address for embassy you used to send in for what you did, i am starting to stress out about this ####### freaking BS created fear mongering all over the world has created massive immigration problems for us legal people but illegals have no problems.
