The closer it gets the less seats available so they will always go up in price. I know it sucks.

No (removed) i hate the gouging and they get away with it

If it were me I would be getting her out of there asap. Who knows what could happen next, they could close the country to all inbound and outbound traffic.  Every day over there is a different set of rules for leaving or entering the Philippines.

Total Chaos is what I see.

Waiting on the text from 2go so she can pick up visa/passport to book flight

That seems to be a fair price for a one way ticket, I am sure flights from PI to USA are very limited.

Actually they are going up each day as i watch them right now, i was seeing it through kiwi app for about 650 with 1 stop now they are going for close to 850 there and PAL was 808 usd and now showing 950

This is the same stuff I was seeing in Davao City about one year before Duterte ran for President, and still to this day I can't believe a mayor from a province like Davao City won the Presidency with all his baggage.

That is a deadly combination for that country

Always search prices in incognito mode. Also you should search from the Philippines if possible. If I remote in to my wife's PC and search it is cheaper than from USA. That is when searching the exact same flights and times on the same date.

The wife went to pal office to check on some stuff and she asked the price of ticket to lax, they quoted her 44,000 pesos which is about 950 usd which is what i am seeing also from here also through PAL app and their website

Sounds like the judge was being a jerk the supreme court of the Philippines already ruled this applied to a foreign spouse as well, but it's the Philippines one place says one thing then another place says the exact opposite.

    Sounds like our government entities

That's why I travelled with my wife. It probably would have been too much for her. But, she has learned since being here that she is much stronger and more adaptable than she thought she was.

If i could have went and traveled back i would have, but she also said she wanted to do it herself. Which i am proud of her for wanting to do on own

Should of brought her to Texas: DFW is not enforcing Federal Mask Mandate,  and you can carry your gun concealed inside the airport.

At airport mask required fed law, i have texas address and i carry all the time nice little taurus g2

  11. Does anyone know how far i will be able to go into LAX to get wife when she lands during this scandemic stuff, los angeles has re-instituted the mask stuff for even vaxxed people

LAX is a strange place for pinays entering and exiting the country.

Many years ago they pulled aside my buddies gf who had just arrived and had her crying and trying to convince her to return to Philippines, at LAX they CBP told her he had a record of fighting, she said they picked her and another girl and had them both crying, LAX was her POE and she was going to catch a flight to DFW to meet her fiancee at the time.

10 years or so we were getting on PAL airlines in LAX, catching a flight to Manila.  It was at the departure gate after you show the ticket agent your passport and ticket to enter the plane, CBP was actually hiding inside the walkway ramp to the plane and harassing and asking pinay questions like: How long were you in USA, Were you working, etc.  It really angered me ,I told them to leave them alone, they are trying to go home and board the plane.  It was 3 CBP agents and they were randomly pulling them over.  Never seen anything like it since

    Just a FYI

I do not see a problem for my wife entering there but i am still skeptical cause i know how our government can be.

    Greetings,

Since I have been posting here I wanted to also update my VJ family about my wife's interview today at US Embassy in Ankara, Turkey.

The officer didn't look at so much papers only asked simple questions about us and asked my wife to take the oath.

Then the officer gave her the passport back and gave her 221G temporary refusal until we have the medical exam.

The officer also told her that our files " passport, tax returns, marriage certificate and birth certificate were not uploaded to CEAC and which is not true I just took a screenshot of them all in CEAC  and emailed it to them.

They also asked for our photos together which was not requested in their email, I also emailed them 10 of our photos.

How bad my situation is ?

My wife was told we had not uploaded a lot of papers when i know we did cause i did it, but they had her do it at embassy before continuing on which she did and was approved,  just upload all documents needed and get medical done. You will be ok after doing it, they will probably ask for passport after all is done.

Too add to that they are much more relaxed and friendly at DFW at your Port of Entry vs places like up north or the west coast.

I know i told her about immigration at LAX, i am skeptical about flying into there, she wants to be able to stop and state borders and take picts of the welcome to ( whatever state ) to start her journey of life here, even though she will see the country with me as a truck driver.  She has one advantage over others that immigrate she will see the USA clearly coast to coast.

Hello everyone. One quick question. My sister filed for her husband i130 spouse petition In June 2020, she received her NOA 1 on June 16th and her case went to Vermont service center. Anyone has any idea how long it will take to get NOA 2?? It’s been more than a year!

    Anyone with the same issue??

You may not get a NOA 2 i never received one when i filed, i kept track of emails, some get notices all along others don’t

Yes, the IV fee was paid a month ago.   So, let me see if I understand what she must do.   First, download the DS-260 form.   Then, fill it out and scan it into a .pdf file.   Then, upload it on the NVC website.   After this, does she upload all the civil documents in .pdf files?   So, everything is being done on the NVC website and there will be no packet mailed to her like it says on this site?

    Don

Make sure to print a couple copies of everything there is is case something happens with electronic file and carry with you.

when i uploaded everything not all of it got transferred with it to embassy, my wife had to upload a lot of it during interview to proceed on

No download.  DS-260 is a web form.  Just fill it out and click "Submit" at the end.  No need to wait for any email packet.

After that, upload required civil documents to CEAC.  Either PDF or JPG format is acceptable.

It also needs to be printed out to carry to interview, it is suggested to have multiple copies of everything printed out and carry with you in case something happens electronically

Hi. i am following this topic. My mother is in the same situation and I don’t know if I should reschedule it now while waiting for the results. Any update on your case?

It is very hard to get a reschedule in manila after my wife got final sputum results it took us 2 months to get a reschedule and that is after a dozen calls and about the same in emails.
