I received an email last night from the embassy to set up an interview. Can I enter in the information for my fiance and pay the fee or does she have to do it as the beneficiary? Should I select "
I have received a letter from the consular section with instructions to register or schedule a K visa appointment" as my choice and pay the fee?

When should I complete the DS-160? My case is in transit to the consulate. Should I wait for them to receive it first?
I just read up and I guess I should wait until it is ready at the embassy and send the file to my fiancé to upload since she is the beneficiary.

No,you don't have to follow those six steps. Fill in DS-160 and check your country Embassy for next steps
Thanks for all your help.

I called the NVC this morning and they have received my case. So now I have my case number and just waiting for the next step. Good luck to all those still waiting at the noa2 process. Do I need to follow the steps like choosing an agent with form DS-261 now?

NVC got mine in 10 days. Apparently a large batch arrived on 8/24 - on a fluke I called on 8/25 and they gave me the number.
Call just after 7am tomorrow or another strategy is about 11pm (after days work is done I presume).
(603) 334-0700
I hit 1 english and 7 If they don't have it, call again and do 1 and 5
Expeditious luck to u
Thanks for your help. I called today and they said they received my case but did not have a case number yet. I asked the lady when I should call back and she said in two weeks.

Just got our NOA2 in the mail, we were actually approved on the 18th not the 21st like the guy said on the phone lol ... I'm even happier now we have paper confirmation, we waited so long I needed to see it officially on paper!
Congratulations!!!
I know people have asked this before but how many days should I wait before I call the nvc? It has been 10 days since my approval.

Does anyone know what mail carrier the consulate uses to send the packs to the beneficiary?

I posted this in the February filers but I know some people follow me in March because my case is so slow. I got my noa2 today of acceptance after 199 days from the recieve date. On to the next stage and wishing everyone else waiting that they will hear good news soon.

To the right of my address on mine the first line says Notice Type: Approval Notice and the next line says Valid from 06/09/2017 to 10/08/2017. This could be the same No and V that you can see on your informed delivery. I would guess it's your approval based on what you see. *fingers crossed*
I did get the approval... I'm so excited not having to wait any more. Finally on to the nvc after 199 days from receiving.

I just checked my informed delivery and I have a letter from USCIS. Not sure if it's good news or bad yet. I can see part of it next to my address that has a "No" and below it a "V". I'm hoping it's a noa2 after 199 days. It's going to drive me crazy until I can check the mail.

So it's been 23 days since the letter to my inquiry stating that my case is being worked on and I should get a response within 45 days. I called USCIS just now just to see if I can get anymore information and when they transferred my call they were speaking Spanish and I had to tell the guy I don't speak Spanish. He seemed to pause and look up the dates they are working on like he hasn't done it 100 times before then came back to say they are working on Feb 1. He said that they should be working on mine soon and I should receive a letter in the next 10 days. I don't think I will be holding my breath for a letter.

I checked the USCIS website and it said they were processing February 15 2017. I check it a few days later and it says January 1st 2017. Now it says February 1st 2017, are they just rolling the dice on dates at the California center or is there something I'm missing? Also I look on Visa Journey and it says now processing April 11th 2017 for the I-29 form, I'm lost what is the real timeline to when my fiancé should expect to be here. I filed April 21st 2017, can someone that filed in February or March this year let me know where u are at in the process. Also she is in the Philippines of that helps, I'm not sure though.
My receive date is 2/2/17 and I am still waiting on noa2. No rfe or any information so far other than an inquiry that stated they will give me a decision within 45 days.

Since they go by receive dates at USCIS, try it again. They received yours before your 2/2 notice date, right?
I submitted an inquiry back on 7/12/17 and they sent me a letter last week that my case is being worked on and I should receive more information within 45 days.

On the case tracker app or USCIS site. But they said it's not updated. Try to check your case.
Look likes there are lots of Feb. filers are still waiting. How long should we wait.😞
I feel you. Hoping that our NOA2 is on the way.
my NOA1 is Feb.20

So bad news on the letters from USCIS. They both said the same thing and that my inquiry showed my case was being worked on and I should hear back within 45 days.

Hi everyone, I just checked my informed delivery and see that I have two letters from the USCIS. I'm not sure if that's good news or bad. Right now I'm just happy to have some kind of letter after 184 days since NOA1. It's going to kill me waiting all day to check the mail.

How long do I have to wait after an inquiry to submit another one? I received the generic response of they are working on it and it can take up to 45 days on 7/26. Do I have to wait 45 days from when I received the response before I can submit another inquiry?

June 2018 AOS Filers
in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports

I’ve been watching everyone on this forum for awhile and used it to submit the applications. We have our I-485 interview next week and we still have not had the EAD approved. We submitted for a SSN to be issued with EAD. Does anyone know if we still get it with the Green card or if we have to submit the SSN application separate now? Thanks for your help. We are at the Raleigh, NC office.
