My thoughts exactly.......
And then people wonder why immigration puts us through the ringer, they are just making sure we are legit! No wonder tourists visas are getting harder to obtain. Sheesh!

Thank you, Dear for your reply. I noticed that you are very helpful and uplifting in this page. I think I was just overly excited that's the reason why I was going "gaga". We just want to be together so badly cause we've waited for so long already. I really appreciate the help. Good luck to us. Hope soon we will be hearing from NVC.
You’re so welcome. I know how you feel. We’ve been going through this since 2017. I haven’t seen my husband since October. We patiently waited so I could attend the embassy interview with him never expecting it was going to take a year to approve our petition. It has truly been financially and emotionally straining but in the end, it will all have been worth it. The time will come for us all. Let’s cross our fingers that NVC happens quickly! Good luck!! ☺️

Hi All, so we are now waiting for our papers to be forwarded to NVC. I've done my research already to be NVC ready and it seems like my comprehension isn't good. Cause I still feel stuck. Please help, guys.
I want to know what to do after you receive the NOA2 and what are the documents to be submitted to NVC, plus should we wait for NVC to contact us before submitting the required documents? Please help. Feeling lost in the process.
Thank you, guys in advance for the help.
Congrats on your approval. There isn’t anything you can do or submit until you receive your case number from NVC. If you used lawyer for your petition, they usually will forward the case number to them via email/us mail. And they may copy you on it. It’s a hit and miss situation. We were approved on 8/1 and I started calling NVC 2 weeks after to inquire if case number has been generated. They received our petition on 8/16 but still no case number. Once you have a case number, you are able to login and then follow the instructions from there as to what documents are needed. It’s a bit different from a fiancé visa to an immigrant visa so I don’t want to give you wrong info. Go to this board. There is very helpful information here.

Hi everybody
My husband and I are working on his DS-260, and we don’t know what to do for some of his jobs. The form asks us to list all previous jobs in the last 10 years, but two of them are so long ago and so brief that my husband doesn’t remember who his supervisor was or the dates he worked there. Jobs in his country are under contract, and the companies only keep this information for 5 years (which has long since passed). What should we do?
I hope someone answers your question. We will have th same issue. Little jobs that he doesn’t remember the company names or supervisor.

How long did you wait before calling them? We're only at 10 days since approval, but I've seen that Texas has been screwing up sending some cases and I'm very anxious to know that ours has been sent successfully!
I started calling 2 weeks after petition was approved. This is how I found out they received it 8/16. So at least I know it’s there. And now I call at least twice a week. Start calling now, they should tell you if they at least have it.

How long you waited that your case status from USCIS turn to DOS?
NVC already has my petition as of 8/16, but my case status on uscis still says “case approved.”

Thanks! I’ve been trying to call them for how many days but I couldn’t get hold of them. I’m still waiting for my nvc case number it’s been 3 weeks since I received the noa2.
Call them first thing in the morning. That’s when i get through every time. I’m on hold for about 45 minutes. But I get a live person each time.

Hi everyone. We got our approval letter Aug. 9,2019 vial mail, the USCIS website has no update still “case receive”. Is that normal?? And i just want to as if ask do you guys submit your tax transcripts and w2? Or is it okay just one either the tax transcipts or w2? Can you get a copy of it from IRS immediately after the request?? Thank you the reply.
You submit one or the other. Tax transcripts are the easiest in my opinion. Create an account with irs online and then you can directly print the transcripts from there in that moment.

What was the RFE for? I too got a RFE unfortunately I am still waiting for the letter
After how many days do they approve the case once we send them the required additional evidence
My RFE was for more evidence of bonafide marriage. I believe the RFE they received was for another marriage cert or something similar. After they receive the response. They usually approve within 2 weeks. You should receive the letter within a week.

Hello every one!
My case was approved
how long it takes the uscis to send the case to NVC?
Thanks 😀😀😀😀
Yay! Congrats! I had a hunch it would be about 2 weeks after submitting RFE response! My approval was 8/1. And I have not received case number from NVC yet. They did receive my petition approval on 8/16. But they say it can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks to assign case number. I call twice a week.

Hi everyone,
I am new here as I have just found Visajourney today. My NOA-1 is dated 28th August 2018, and my application is being processed with the Texas Service Center. I never imagined that the process would have taken so long, and I was starting to lose hope. However, seeing that some people on here are starting to get approval is comforting. Well just wanted to say hi and I hope that things speed up and we all receive approval soon
.
Welcome and hopefully you’ll also hear something soon!

Thank you so much! I appreciate it. I came to be with my husband about 1 week before the interview so I can calm my nerves. My hope is to leave here with him back to the US. Yes, have everything ready before getting the case number. As soon as our payment cleared we uploaded everything. I remember our payments cleared a friday afternoon so we have the weekend as well to make sure everything was perfect. We uploaded everything on a Sunday and boom Monday morning we had the DQ email. You deserve the same luck and will add you to my prayers.
Today’s the day!!!!! PLEASEEEEE let me know how it went!!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

thanks for the good vibes
I've been reading your posts as well and the RFE's and everything, glad you guys have been approved 😃
Unfortunately the timing I mentioned is what Juarez has been doing so far, there are still people with CC late October 2018 who haven't been assigned an interview 😢
Your very welcome! And thank you! Yes, our case went through hell! Ugh! 😒 I’ve heard about Juarez Embassy and the amount of time people have to wait! That’s just horrible...but I definitely keep my fingers crossed for you!

Depends on your embassy.. suggest you to find threads or facebook posts where people post their Case Closed date and their interview date. My embassy is taking around 9 months to assign an interview date, after case complete.
Hope yours is faster!
I’ve been checking cases with our embassy Argentina and it’s anywhere between 1 to 2 months. I hope it stays that way! I hope your gets faster! That’s ridiculous!

Thank you!!! How fast is NVC process??? I heard should be done for 3months if it goes smooth??? Hope your husband can come to you very quick. Maybe by Christmas??? I will keep you updated too.. You gave me a big hope.
Your very welcome!! With nvc From what I heard, once you pay and submit your documents it goes pretty fast. Others that are from the same embassy as my husband, got their appointments within 1 month of NVC completing case. I hope it goes fast. Keep your hope and faith strong. It won’t be much longer for you.

Not yet. I was told to make an inquiry after 6 months. I made one and waited for 30 days, and told that no one had responded. So I made another one and told to wait for another 90 days. It’s a waiting game till now.
Oh my!!! I hope to god I don’t have to wait so long again. It will be 3 years in April that he was removed. They say the longer they “serve” their 5 year ban. The faster they approve the 212. I hope their right because if the waiting continues this way, 2 more years and he won’t need the 212 anymore 🤭 keep me updated. I am really happy though I finally found someone going through LA. I’ve been searching for a long time! Prayers your way. ☺️

@inneedofmyhb how are you doing. Good to know looks like your NVC process is going good 😁you deserve the best. Yes I haven’t heard anything yet. I just checked status ( I do that only twice a week now 😂) Seems like nothing is moving at NBC. Case number starting with MSC is not moving at all. ( was your receipt number MSC something? )
My daughter’s I 130 has started from NBC and according to Congress office it’s still there and never translated.
I will try to be positive and not to lose my mind. But hey thank you!
Good luck for the rest of your process. You know I will keep you updated too😊
I’m doing good. Haven’t started the NVC process just yet. They did receive my petition last week, I talked to them yesterday and she said give a week or so to receive the case number. Our receipt number started with SRC. I think yours is different though because it’s your daughter that’s being sponsored which honestly, I have no idea why it would take this long. You will most likely be approved directly from the nbc. Don’t lose your mind. I know it’s hard, but it will come. I will also keep you updated.

You’re so welcome. Oh believe me, I have everything ready to go. Just waiting....when it’s our interview time, I’m doing the same thing. I’m going to be with my husband for 2 weeks. We haven’t seen each other since October 😢 we waited and waited for me to go visit thinking we would get approved faster and get the interview sooner and of course it took a year for the approval. So I am looking forward to the interview! I really hope your hubby gets to come home with you!!! Thank you for your prayers. They are very much needed! ☺️

Just spoke with a very nice woman at NVC, they are working on petitions received 8/12....
If you don’t know when your NVC received your petition, call them and they will tell you. Have your receipt number ready. Hope this helps those who are waiting.
