    Yes mine is I-130 and it has been at NBC right from the start.

    We even had to send the I-129f (k3) as some people say it speeds up their I-130 approval but everything we’ve tried so far is not working. I hope we all hear something soon. 🤞

    We also had received RFE for our 130 for evidence if bonafide marriage. We replied with lots of evidence and received approval 2 weeks later. If they sent you RFE it’s because they are reviewing your file. You should hear something soon! Good luck!

    Omg thanks thanks thanks give me hope ,

    my approval date in the note is 16 September but I didn’t receive it until 28 September,

    and I called and filed typo mistake yesterday 3 Oct ,

    so its now 17 days now.

    I hope they can fix it

    I’m pretty sure everything will be okay. What matters is your 130 was approved and that’s one step closer. We’ve been hit with several different Obstacles along the way, but It’s moving forward. Good luck!

    That’s the part of mistake he did in the form , he filled the wrong place with wrong information.

    Yes, uscis also submitted a correction form for us and it was internally fixed with no issues. If you login to uscis to check your status, you should see an update with this information pretty soon and they will forward your petition to NVC. When was it approved? If you called Uscis within a few days of approval, Then it should make it to NVC without any delays. Hope this helps.

    We filed a i 130 form , ( with lawyer ) he mistakly added that I’m in the US and I want adjustment of status ( and my case was APPROVED, we got the approval form saying I’m adjusting status  instead of going to the NVC  ( I’m not asking for adjustment I’m out of the US it should go to NVC .

    HOWWW. Can we fix this and how long it will take to fix it ?

    Are you sure that you’re lawyer made this mistake on your petition? Here is why I’m asking, when our 130 was approved (husband is overseas, I’m petitioner) we also received our approval letter stating the same exact thing you’ve written above. I freaked out at first since it said it was for AOS. I called uscis immediately and let them know and they (USCIS) basically made a mistake when they mailed us the form, they used a “master” approval form and forgot to change all the info to include that it would be forwarded to NVC. 2 weeks later I received corrected approval letter and it made it nice and safe to NVC. Call USCIS. Mistakes happen.

    @MercyDom I got exactly same Email about a month ago.  So sad. Nothing is helping but just wait.

    I would have hoped you would have been approved by now. :( I really hope ombudsman helps you guys. From what I heard, nbc is backed up because what usually happens is since they are the main service center. Several cases are transferred to them and then they transfer them off to other service centers. If all service centers are overloaded they will just hold onto cases until they get the okay to forward off. But when you sit there and see cases being approved after your priority date, it makes no sense at all. I am so sorry friend and I hope this moves faster. I am stuck at NVC right now waiting for them to give me case complete on all documents we submitted and to schedule our embassy interview. He won’t be stepping foot in the US until next year :( I’m just grateful I will get to see him when I go for the interview. This month is 1 year that we haven’t seen each other. It’s been the biggest struggle of my life. I just try and keep the faith and know eventually it will all end, you do the same. We will look back and come out if this stronger than ever. Keep me updated please.

    One more thing, can we upload documents on the CEAC portal after submission of the forms?

    I am asking because I want to submit my forms and all documents before Oct 15. But only one or two documents may arrive after that time, so will I be able to upload them later?

    Yes you can, I submitted more documents the day after I submitted what they requested. You just have to click the submit button at the top right. But I’ve heard if you take too long to submit more documents, it resets the clock for reviewing. Hopefully this isn’t the case but you never know. Good luck.

    Welcome to another monthly thread for those going through NVC

    Please read everything below and refer to it throughout your NVC journey, whether this is your first month at NVC or your third. :bonk:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Before posting questions, please read the wiki Saylin wrote on the NVC process here. Once you're done, read it one or two more times to really understand it ;)Don't forget to also read the official form instructions as well as USCIS and NVC's websites!
    If you want to see a visual of the NVC process, please view Saylin's flowchart here.
    Yes this thread was created by our great Queen Saylin and the knowledge is still going forward. This thread I pray stays alive and well as many who have gone through the process or still going can chime in and help and assist.
    If you're wondering about time frames, look at the fellow members right here in this thread! Study their signatures/timelines and make notes. VJ also has this awesome page. Use it! I sure did during my process smile.png That means if you are on this thread WE expect you to have an up to date timeline.
    Current case file creation time:
    This is the link to go to see what date they are working on. Follow  it says up to 6 weeks but recently that 6 weeks is about 4 weeks from approval at USCIS.
    Once your case has been created, we will contact you with instructions on how to begin processing. Until your case is entered into our system, we unfortunately won’t have any information about your case.
    Current case review time:
    This is the link to see what date they are reviewing. Please allow up to three-weeks for NVC to review your forms and documents once we receive both the petitioner’s financial documents and the applicant’s civil documents. You must also have paid all required fees and submitted your visa application online. We will not review your file until we have received all of the above items
    And once you've got a case complete, please join the case complete/interview thread started by me, Dwheels76 on (currently November 2019 thread),
    Hi! I have a question. A while back I saw a post that had great information and pictures of how someone had put together their packets for the embassy interview. I have gone mad looking for that post and can’t find it. Do you know what I’m talking about? Thank you so much for your help.
    Ok thanks. Did we have to send  the financial document. (IRS Transcript , w2)  after we receive the welcome letter?
    Thanks
    If they have your email, you will receive the case number and invoice number via email. Once I received that, I logged in and had to first pay the fees, then it took about 3 business days to clear  (I logged in everyday until I saw that the payment said “paid”) and that’s when I was able to start loading all forms. Even though I submitted Last years tax transcript, I saw a few people get a request for the W2 as well, so I went ahead and uploaded that along with a paystub and letter from employer.
    hope that’s helps.
    Sorry I forgot to mention but it was received however they will not provide anymore information besides that until they start working on your case.
    Oh yeah, they won’t give you anymore details. After they received my case, it was about a month for case to be issued. Now I submitted all documents on 9/18 and still pending.
    good luck!
    Hi, i called about my case to see if they received it. According to the customer rep i spoke to that information gets updated every Monday afternoon. So you should see a change today. If my math is correct its going to say 8/30/19.
    It depends on the rep you get. I called on random days of the week until someone told me it was received.
    Ugh. Only 7 days of movement for document review
    Current case review time: As of 30-SEP-2019, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 16-AUG-2019.
    Are these timeframes pretty accurate?? I’ve seen cases complete so much faster than this.  I hope it’s not right cause I submitted on 9/18, that would mean I have a while. Ugh! 😢 1 year waiting for petition to be approved and then this...thank god for my patience.
    hello everybody!
    It says in the nvc website that the Current case creation time frame: As of 23-SEP-2019, we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 23-AUG-2019.
    I am wondering when is usually nvc change (update) the current case creation time frame ?
    Thanks
    From when NVC received my petition to case creation was about 1 month and from what I see with others, it’s about 1 month. I started calling NVC about 2 weeks after approval to at least confirm that they received the petition from uscis. You just provide your receipt number from uscis. Good luck.
    we filed with a lawyer, we have got 3 rfes. The first time was our lawyer sent in "too much" of my husbands tax papers and that seemed to be an issue. The recent 2 other times were because our lawyer uploaded the wrong documents 😪😤
    So did you get rfe’s for your petition or for NVC? I didn’t know that nvc sends rfe’s? I thought they just request something to be uploaded. When I see RFE, I get a bit nervous because we got 2 RFE during our petition process.
    I submitted my documents September 10. I haven’t heard anything yet either. I’m just hoping we get an interview by end of this year and he’s here.
    What embassy? I think if you get case complete within the next few weeks you will have your interview this year for sure. We are Argentina embassy. I heard they schedule interviews pretty quick. 🤞🏼🤞🏼
    Hello!
    My fiance and I are trying to determine if we should get a lawyer or use a service like, Rapid Visa to help us navigate the K-1 visa process to ensure no RFE and/or any delays. Obviously, we would rather save money but are willing to pay a premium to ensure us being together sooner than later. This is coming for the stress of wanting to fill out this form and submit enough information without delaying the process or royally screwing it up.
    How much is enough proof to submit?
    • 25 pages outlining highlights of our chat history over the past year knowing each other
    • 5 pages sampling our call history via FB messenger
    • 120 photos
    • engagement ring receipt
    • engagement part invitations that were sent out at pictures (part of the 120 photos)
    • Flight Receipts
    • Email from his parents congratulating and reaching out to me to say hello
    • A spreadsheet beginning our planning of wedding (no date is selected because it's completely contingent of immigration approving the visa and then we can choose a date)
    • Wedding Dress Shopping Confirmation Emails
    • Receipt of a few dates we went on w/ pictures (again, part of that 120)
    Do we need to write a letter of how we met? How in depth does that need to be?
    Do the letters of intents from both of us need to be wet signatures?
    Is it normal to have a lot of blanks on the I-129F form? What blanks should we put "none" in?
    When adding additional information, how do you decide what the item number is? For an example, when adding in previous addresses?
    How exact do the dates of living at those said addresses need to be?
    I read submitting too much is reason for denial and of course that is something we don't want to happen.
    I appreciate the feedback and any help we receive!
    With my 130 spouse petition for my husband, our attorney did not include any of the items you listed and we DID received an RFE for proof of bonafide marriage after pending for 11 months. I sent them 476 pages of evidence. So, in my opinion, things have gotten stricter in regards to evidence of relationship. It doesn’t hurt to send what you have. If this evidence would have been sent with our petition, we wouldn’t have had to wait so long for approval. Send it all.
    Hello everyone!
    I have a question about the
    Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee and the Affidavit of Support Fee?  It says online in the nvc web site that those fees can be payed only by check, but I have never used checks. Can I pay those fees by debit card?
    Thanks
    You will need to get your routing number and checking account number from your bank. You don’t have to have an “actual” checkbook. Just the banking info. I also don’t have a check book.  After you’ve paid, it’s about 3 business days to process and that’s when you can start uploading your docs.
