Mine will be a year old in 5 days too. Congress ppl contacted NBC twice. Same answer for both. They will work on it as soon as they can.  I feel hopeless but trying to stay positive. I don’t check the status everyday now cause makes me insane. I will check once a week. I will keep you posted as soon as I hear anything. Thank you for the spreadsheet. I am praying for you!!!

Here there... Cases a year old now and still nothing.  Waiting for the 3rd inquiry to expire (08/30/19) so the following I can call USCIS and ask for my inquiries to be escalated for a response ASAP (at least thats what they told me).  I've also contacted the congress office for them to help me in getting a response.  Its been a week today since that and still nothing.  I just know what else to do.

Keep me updated with your case also....

Hi guys! I feel for you both right now so much. Only us that have gone through this or are going through it can understand. It becomes a part of our everyday life’s. From morning til night. The obvession is real. I hope you guys both here something soon. When our case got stuck at nbc, is when I really started losing my mind. I am starting to wonder if your cases have been transferred to local offices and they just haven’t updated. That’s what happened to me. I didn’t know nbc transferred to local until my Congress received an email reply from the local office. Uscis never gave me a transfer notice. And within 8 days was going to be 1 year when we got approved, so you both are right there. Pray that approvals will come through anytime now. Don’t lose hope and faith. 🙏🏼😢

Yes!! Interview just a few days away!! I am super nervous! Praying that everything turns out as planned.

NVC was super good to us, not going to lie. We got very lucky. We became DQ the day after submitting the documents.

Congratulations on finally getting to NVC!! I hope you get your case number asap! :)

Saying don’t be nervous is obviously easier said than done, so I won’t go there. I will just say, stay positive!! But I’m all reality, everything will be good!! Well I am glad to hear NVC was good to you guys. Hopefully, we will have the same luck! As soon as I get that case number, I am determined to get everything in as fast as possible. Please please keep me updated on your interview!! Fingers crossed and praying for you both! 🤞🏼🙏🏼☺️

We got approved today.  No RFE and no I-129F sent. Just took Nebraska a little shy of under a year to process. But I am so happy and relieved.

    NOA1:  08/26/2018

    NOA2:  08/21/2019

Congrats guys!!! I am still waiting for case number from NVC. They received my petition last week and yesterday they told me they are scanning all documents into system and I should get case number within a week or two. Make sure to call them every week and give your receipt number, they can give you info with this number until case number is Assigned!!  Good luck guys, let’s hope things go by quickly!! Nothing will compare to the horrible 1 year petition processing!!

Thank you so much for your input! :)

Oh but what about video call screenshots like showing we cammed for 10 hours? I think that would be nice proof. Or the funny screen shots we take on cam with fliters/no fliters?

Jeez thoses prices 😕.....my pockets are crying already lol. I warned my boyfriend about how long this will take and the prices. He said he would like to help out which is nice.

Yeah that's an issue because I can't work. I'm going to ask a family memeber to sponser my boyfriend. I do get money I'm on ssi for good reasons. Not how I would like it to be but that's my life right now.

Again thank you for the advice I really appreciate it. Best of luck to you with everything.

We sent only the items that someone listed above with our 130 spouse petition and we received an RFE for more evidence of bonafide marriage. And this is when we had an actual attorney. I responded with 476 pages of screenshots of our video calls showing date and time and the Hours we spend videoing, texts, photos and our Facebook posts...and we were approved less than 2 weeks later. So I would suggest you start saving all that now. They are becoming much more stricter in regards to the relationship thing with all the marriage frauds that are going on. Good luck!!!

It was sent in December last year and receipted on Dec 4, 2018. It was sent to LA field office coz that’s where the removal take place. It was sent to NBC and remains there. I don’t know how long it’s gonna take. This is devastating. I need my mom

Hi. I was wondering if you’ve heard anything. We will also be sending my husbands solo 212 to LA office this week. God I hope this doesn’t take so long. It took 1 year to get our 130 approved.

Our case was approved on the 6th, today we got a new update saying it:

Case Was Sent To The Department of State

On August 13, 2019, we sent your case, Receipt Number , to the Department of State for visa processing. You can find general information on Consular Processing by visiting our website at www.uscis.gov . The website will provide information on what to do next, who to contact, and how to inform us of any changes in your situation or address.

So it seams to be moving fast so keep checking it, we are waiting for our letter with the NVC number and what to do next too! EXCITED!

Wow...we were approved on 7/31 I hope I get that update soon! Good luck!

Today i got NOID(notice of intent to deny)..what does it mean?m i gonna deny?they ask me to submit documents showing joint bank account ,joint ownership of property, joint credit card statement, jointly held insurance policy, utility bills etc..how can we show them when we r not living together..my husband is in america n i m in pakistan...plz help me understand this notice..what will happen next if my case denied?

We received something similar but as an RFE. They basically wanted proof that we had a relationship before our marriage and ever since being married. I sent over 450 pages of texts, Facebook screenshots, screenshots of our video calls displaying date and time and length of call, him listed as beneficiary on my life insurance, any money transfers from me to him and Lots of lots of pics which also display date time and location. We were approved 2 weeks after sending it in.

    Hi!

Thanks about your response. Uscis sent me a rfe cause they need the copy of the original foreign language marriage certificate and the copy of the original  foreign language divorce decree. First time I sent only the translations of the two document .

    Thanks

Oh okay...then honestly in my opinion, once you send everything back, you should get an approval within 2 weeks or so. Make sure to attach your foreign language one, the translated and the certificate of translation.

    Hi everyone!

After USCIS receive a response to RFE, How long it takes them to take a decision on  your form I130?

    Thanks.

What was the RFE for? We got two RFE ‘a. The first one came from TSC for another certified divorce decree for husbands previous marriage and then after our response, I heard nothing for 3 months and then found out our case was transferred to nbc and then local office. I involved congress at that point. 1 week later, Received another RFE from local for evidence of bonafide marriage, submitted response and received approval in a little over 2 weeks. So if it’s something simple, most RFE responses are within 2-3 weeks. Good luck!

Thank you! That would be amazing to get my interview date that soon, but it looks like Montreal has about a 2 month wait for an interview date right now. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is sooner than that!

Hello, I’m just starting this process as we just got approved last week. How do you find out what the wait time is for your embassy? Ours is Argentina. Thank you and good luck!!

Hey sweetie! Omg CONGRATULATIONS! Finally! I'm so so so happy for you! I can feel your joy through your words :) You deserve all the happiness coming your way and more! We contacted our representative and they have inquired on our behalf. This is the 3rd inquiry in total so let's see what happens! I'm not gonna lie, it's easy to lose hope but your happiness is infectious and I'm dying for the day I see "Case was Approved"! Hope we stay in touch, is there a way to add friends on this website? Or DM? In which case, DM me your progress and I'll for sure ping you when I get my good news. Thank you for all your support and kindness ❤️

Hi!!! Finally..yours will come soon!! Just feel it...I kept telling myself that for the last few weeks and somehow it seemed to work!! I think contacting your representative was your best bet at this point. Once I did that, my case moved pretty fast (well after almost one year, it seemed fast to me lol). I have no idea how to add friends in here. But we will DM each other with updates so we can continue on this craziness together. Regardless of my close friends and family, they will truly never understand this “thing” called immigration and what we’ve endured. Lots of XOXO!!! Think positive as I did and it will happen. Your welcome and thank you to you as well...you provided the straw when I was under Water. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you. You gave me a big hope this morning!! I bet your husband is super excited too!!

One thing I wanted to ask is did your online statement get updated?? or you received a letter before??  I check USCIS case tracker app frequently and  None of the NBC cases are moving at all....

Hi! My husband couldn’t stop crying as I told him over vídeo call..his parents joined in on the crying as well..it’s still very new to us especially because it took so long. I think yours will come soon. It seems they are wrapping up a lot of these older cases as ours. I received a text that I had an update and then I logged in and it said case is approved. I’m súper hopeful for your guys..keep me updated.

Omg that's a lot of going around in circles! Hopefully this is the last leg for you.. We haven't heard anything. Sent another inquiry yesterday and now involving congresswoman. No idea what's going on.. 😥😥 Thought I'd be with him by this time.

I’ve thought about you a lot today. I received my approval today and I cried so much in joy but then you came into my mind and I thought omg, I felt absolutely terrible. You and I have been in this for a year now and have lost our patience and mentalities too many times to count. But somehow we’ve seemed to keep going and hoping. I hope as you read this you will have some good news for me..I would love to continue our our journey together until we all have our feet planted in the states..thank you for always reading my vents and replying back with as much feedback as you Could. I hope to hear from you soon !! 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️

Hi there, how are you all!?

Hope you can help us with this new journey we are starting.

    Situation:

My Spouse: 23 years old US Citizen living in Argentina since 2003.

Me: 31 years old Argentinian (and italian) Citizen.

We live together since May 2017.

Delfina and I were married last May 14th, and we are willing to start the process to move to US in a couple of years.

There are some questions that are coming up to start everything, could you please help us?

1- We were told that it is mandatory to do the process with the US citizen living in US, showing income to sponsor me for about a year. Is this true? we have to be separated in order to apply for the Visa?

2- She has family over the US, mainly in Connecticut and Florida, it is recommended to use one of their addresses during this process?

3- Can someone of their family fully sponsor me during this procees?

We would like to be together during the process, can it be?

Thanks all for yor answers, I'm sorry if there are gramatical errors, English isn't my native languaje!

    C U!

Hello. I a usc also lived in Argentina and married my argentine citizen husband there. Unfortunately, she will have to move to the US alone and start the process from there. We have been at this for quite sometime now and there is no way around it. I moved back from Argentina in April of 2018 and my husband still is not here with me. So it is very very hard, but it is part of the process. I hope this helps.

I wonder if both of your cases will be transferred to local office like mine did from NBC??? I’ve been told that this is quite normal recently because if the backlogs. Especially coming from NBC. I don’t know what to think anymore...my brain is literally gone. Praying for us all!

The I-129f form is filed to obtain a non-immigrant visa, which can be either fiancé (K1)  or spouse (K3). If granted (which it wouldn't be - you can search the forums for more info on this), a K3 visa would require Adjustment of Status after arrival in the US. The I-130 form is the petition for the immigrant visa, which has no such requirement.

I know what the petitions are for, but I had no idea that you could file both a I-129 and I-130. Interesting.  Good info for those who are barely starting process, I am almost 1 year in.

    Thank you.
