Finally got around to filling out the DS-160 a few days ago. I check it today and It shows "NO STATUS". We wont be able to schedule the Medical until later in the week

Is the DS-160 status going to change before or after the interview? Thank you

I did everything on the same day, filled out the DS-160 then called knightsbridge and then finally booked my interview. I don't believe the status for the DS-160 means anything, i have never seen anybody mention it.

    Great news, congrats!

I was surprised at how long it took for August to fill up, all the dates did finally get taken but that wasn't until around the 15th.  With your medical not until the 28th you've got plenty of time to receive packet 3 from the embassy, if they decide to send it, to take with you to Knightsbridge.  So glad to see you so close now!

Thank you! It is such a relief to be at this stage now these 4 weeks cant come quick enough to get my approval :D

That was in the back of my head about the letter, so now I'm giving it 3 weeks to show up so fingers crossed i get it. I've printed of a screenshot of the ready status on NVC just in case.

We didn't book our medical until after the completion of the DS-160 simply because that's the order that the London consulate website instructed. The thing is, it didn't matter because it took 1 hour to complete the DS-160 and then we scheduled the medical on the exact same day.

That's good to know, as it went into transit last night I'm hoping by tonight / tomorrow morning it goes to ready and i can get everything done and dusted tomorrow :)

As long as you don't submit the DS-160 until after CEAC says Ready then you can go ahead and get started on it.  You need to write down your Application ID number and you can work on the DS-160, it will save as you go along, and then you can exit out and come back in with that number to finish it and submit it.

Ah okay, thank you for helping me out, it really is appreciated :)

As soon as you have your LND number you can call and book at Knightsbridge.  I would go ahead and call them today if you can and get your appointment booked as they are usually booked about 2 weeks out from the day you call.  As soon as we had our LND number we booked the medical and had no issues.

Really? Ok well that's good, I'm going to give them a call in the morning then. I really want to get the DS-160 filled out whilst I'm in work but i know i cant do that either.

Well, guys, we've got not really good news today.

Called NVC to figure out why we are still "at NVC" status.

Our case is undergoing through administrative procedures. They are unable to give a time frame. And we have to wait until they'll notify us via email for further instructions once it is released. No further information can be obtained during this time.

We will call again tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and so on and so far. This is the only thing we can do now for only God knows how long.

I'm not even upset or frustrated, I guess lost is the only word that is more appropriate.

Oh no, have you tried to google what 'administrative procedures' are exactly? I thought NVC was just the middle man passing the cases to the embassies.

Hey everyone. I dont post on here very often but Iv been lurking around and reading this board and keeping track of approvals most days just in order to keep myself sane through this process.

If it helps anyone to know, my case has FINALLY been approved. on day 148. My USC fiance called in on the 31st and after hearing the same lines again from tier 1, he demanded to speak to tier 2 (apparently you have to say the words 'I demand to speak to tier 2' as though its a secret password or something). After speaking to tier 2, he was informed that we had been listed as approved on their systems as of an hour ago. The next day the online tracker shows as approved on 1st Sept.

There are no words for how relieved we both feel that our petition hadn't somehow gotten lost down the back of a bookshelf somewhere!

Congratulations to everyone else who has received their NOA2 and Good luck to everyone still waiting.

Any advice on what the next step is now?

Yep as @AnJ Co said, have a look on my 'About me' ive put the steps that need to be taken once your at the NVC and beyond for London :) Congrats!

We received our number on August 25th and still awaiting to be "in transit" and "ready".

Sometimes they show activity on weekends but not sure if such holidays as Labor Day is a workday for them.

Really?! That's quite long for it to be at the NVC. When my fiance called them the guy he spoke to said they only keep our cases for a matter of days. Clearly not!
