  1. So my fiance tried calling uscics  (I gave him a run down of how to be on the phone i.e polite and calm etc) they gave him the same **** 'we're working on December 15th cases' he requested to speak to a tier 2... they refused, he then asked to speak to a supervisor politely and they also refused to transfer him.

I feel so deflated today, now I'm being seriously paranoid thinking they will push our file even further back for being impatient. :(

I've been quietly following this thread since February and have found it a great comfort knowing there are so many others going through the same journey that we are.

Well yesterday it was our turn to receive our NOA2 notification in the post! Received date was 27th February and NOA2 date was 31st May - 92 days in total. Then we received the letter 6th June.

Incidentally, I checked one of the reports regularly published on here a few days ago and my case was showing as untouched, and the USCIS Case Status is still not updated either.

My VJ timeline estimated I'd receive the NOA2 between 10th-15th June, so it was almost spot on (it had estimated a little ealrier in June but that had increased in the last few weeks).

Good luck to everyone still waiting for their NOA2!

I'm not to sure if it's you or your fiance that's from the UK but i would really appreciate if you could keep us fellow UK'ers updated on how you get on with this next step :) I'm only a day after you so hopefully my fiance will get something in the post soon!

I literally lol'd because I did the same thing for my fiancee around mid May. She's from the Philippines and we aready have her police clearance, certificate of no marriage, and birth certificate ready in hand. This has been extremely stressful for me because my fiancee is pregnant and due on mid October. I'm really hoping for the approval this week. Best of luck to both of you and yours. I'll keep you posted and please do so as well. 🙏🏼

Ah i can only imagine how stressed you are, i hope you get your approval soon and congrats! I will be sure to keep you posted!

Oh I don't think we have that requirement here. Maybe wait til you have your NOA2 to make it, depending on how long it takes to get in (ie. is it a few weeks or months?). Someone from London might know more

Lucky you! I wish i didn't have to get it because like i said my doctors are a pain! Thanks for you help anyway, i know there's a few in here from the UK so maybe they can help :)

Just make sure you are using an approved panel physician- it can't just be any doctor. I'm not sure if you mean your personal doctor when you say it's hard to get into, or if you already have experience getting a medical like this.  In canada I can't make my medical appt until I have made an interview appt (but every country is different) and since there are only 5 doctors in canada that do these medicals, I need to take a 2 hour flight to get there.

I would wait a bit though in any case, because your visa is only good for 6 months after the medical or interview, whatever comes first.

Sorry i didn't explain that very well I don't mean my actual medical before my interview what i meant was there is a requirement when i go to my medical to have some sort of report from my personal doctors listing all of my ailments, i just don't want to get that too soon before my medical and it expire (if that's how it works).

  6. Has anybody that hasn't yet received their NOA2 applied for their medical report yet? I don't want to request it too soon and it not be recent enough when i go to my medical. My doctors are an absolute nightmare to get an appointment with so i don't want to leave it too late where i end up delaying the process.

Ughhhh I so cant wait for this visa to be complete so i can stop stressing out lol

Thank you for that. I tried calling them this morning and was given the generic response (still working on Dec 15 cases, within normal timeframe blah blah blah). I am a Feb 23 filer with NOA1 dated Feb 28. So far I've only seen 2 from VJ with my same date approved. Hopefully this week will be our lucky week. I might call them again on Wednesday and speak with a tier 2 officer.

Me & you have exactly the same dates, lets cross our fingers we get some good news this week or next.

It only dawned on me last week that i had absolutely nothing prepared and i could potentially be approved in the next couple of weeks, so i went on a mad rush ordering my police report and gathering evidence etc... lol

  8. Ah all of these approvals are getting me so excited! I'm about a week behind all of them so i hope i hear something soon! It sounds sad but whats currently keeping my sanity in check is looking for furniture for our apartment (don't judge me :D) so I'm just going to continue with that and hopefully I don't pull my hair out with worrying!

Congrats to everybody who has received their approvals! Keep us updated on your next steps! :)

Mine was received Feb 23rd and NOA1 date is feb28. Hoping for our NOA2 by this coming week. Fingers crossed. Good luck everyone!

My NOA1 is the 23rd, let's keep our fingers and toes crossed... I stupidly booked my flight at the beginning of the year as this particular airline started doing direct flights and they were amazingly cheap but now I'm thinking I've been optimistic with the date I've booked 😐

    Hello Everyone,

I am kinda a Jan / Feb filer :). I have a receive date of Jan 31st and an NOA1 of Feb 2nd. I have been hanging out in the Jan camp because my case number is over in that set. I'm still not in NOA2 yet. With that being said, I was running stats for the Jan filers and if USCIS starts updating the online case status tool to show approvals again, I will run stats here too.

Mainly just dropping in to say hi and to wish everyone a quick approval!

Ah what a small world I'm from Manchester, UK and will be moving only an hour from where your going (San Antonio) :)
