Just got an email saying my EAD is approved. Finally after 140 days. Soooo soooo happy I am crying.

80 days. That must be nice. We're at 302 days! 

Interview was today, and GC approved.  It was about 35 to 40 minutes with standard questions.
 
All told, about 80 days from filing to approval.  We feel lucky.
 
Now all we need is to get the card in the mail.

Hey guys!
 
We just came back from our interview in Phoenix, AZ.
It was pretty fast; it took us around 45min in total since the time we arrived.
 
Our interview was scheduled for 1:15PM and we arrived 1:10PM. We went through security and checked in. Got my picture taken and index fingers scanned around 1:20PM. About 4min later we got called for the interview. The IO was a very nice gentleman.
Once we got in his room and explained all the procedure and how the interview was going to be.
He first asked us for our passports and my SS card, then the I-485 questions and some regular stuff like full name, maiden name, address, telephone number, and also my hubby's info (DOB, city where he was born). After that I had to sign the I-485 form that I had sent with my application. He also said that the GC interviews for the Phoenix office are taking 1 year after applying so we were lucky.
Then he asked us to tell him our story and he was writing the important facts on a piece of paper. After that he asked if we brought any documents to show him, and we showed him a bunch of docs (joint bank account, joint lease, life, auto and health insurance, copies of boarding passes, hotel/Airbnb, passport stamps) and pictures we've taken with family and friends and of our wedding day. He went through the pictures very quickly and asked a few questions about them. We also brought the wedding cards we received but he said he didn't need to see it since we had so much already.
He then told us I would receive the card in the mail in 2-3 weeks and if I didn't receive it in 30 days, I'd have to schedule an InfoPass to see what was going on.
 
I asked him in the end about my SS Card and he said I'd have to go to the SS Office with my GC and ask for a new one with my married name and without saying it was needed for work with the DHS authorization.
He congratulated us and wished us luck! We were out of there at 1:55PM!
 
I have already received a text message and an email about the change in my case status. Now it says "Card Production".

Interview was quick ( less than 10 mins)
The IO was very nice. She only asked me the following questions:
- My full legal name
- My parents name
- My hubby's name
- yes or no questions in the form I-485
 
Submitted the following documents: 
- Life and Health Insurance
- Property Document
- Joint bank account
- Marriage Certificate

And it won't be looked, because you have skipped that entire thing.

You are one lucky girl, really!

Here are October and Novemberfilers still waiting, and you skipped the entire combocard, AND you had the easiest interview EVER!
So many people who have been asked the weirdest things (like what floors do you have at home, what brand is your washing machine) in an intimidating way.... they would love to trade, believe me.

So - be happy

(And they give 120 days delivery time to everything, because they don't want people to annoy.)

Good news from Philly - yesterday (May 5th) got my letter from USCIS with invitation on interview on June 6th. Actually I got 6 of them, all the same. 
Notice day - April 29th, sent by mail on May 2nd. 
Just in time as tomorrow is my birthday - one of the best present this year! 
No reply on EAD or AP.

Oh okay! That was super helpful. Thanks! So when they say "temporary visa status" is needed, do they mean the EAD or can it be his NOA1 from the AOS.

I'm going to agree with @TearsOfBabylon @FutureMrsBennett and @mytruelove18. Try to expedite. There is no harm in trying. 

Why didn't or why don't you file expedite for financial hardship? Your reasons are more than legit, they should expedite you in a heartbeat.
If I was you I would have done that long ago!

Why would you even submit those pictures?

OP,  I would not cross that line. They do not need proof you guys are in bed or anything. IMO actually that would make you look desperate trying to prove something.  But if pictures in bed is what you think will be beneficial for your case then go ahead.

My card arrived this morning. I’m so relieved to have it in my hands. The I-797 arrived at the same time. They were really fast with the production! 

Update from December:

After 137 days my Combocard is approved!

Received: December 18th
Approved: April 24th

2 days less than my entire K1 took from NOA1 to Interview, lol.

Ich habe mir schon gedacht, dass mich jemand korrigieren wird. Danke!
Ich habe in einer WG gewohnt und mein Mitbewohner hat sich darum gekümmert. Ist mir aber auch erst eingefallen, als ich den Beitrag schon abgeschickt habe.

Das seh ich 100% genauso wie du! Ich wuerde kein K1 mehr machen, und dabei bin ich erst am Anfang der USA Warterei. 136 Tage waren jetzt bis die Combocard durch war. Probleme mit dem Fuehrerschein hab ich auch. Es NERVT, wenn man keinen Status hat. Ich wuerde unbedingt CR1 machen, grade wenn ich jetzt anfangen wuerde, wo das K1 so lange dauert!
 
Die GEZ muss man abmelden. Die haben online ein Formular, wo man seine Abmeldebescheinigung von der Stadt hochlaedt. 
Ich dachte auch, die Wegelagerer ziehen sich das vom Einwohnermeldeamt - machen sie bei innerdeutschem Umzug ja auch - aber die haben mir noch Rechnungen geschickt als ich schon weg war.
Scheinbar kriegen die das (mittlerweile?) nicht mehr mit, wenn man ins Ausland geht.

Just came back from our interview in LA. And we got approved right away.
 
The IO told me I will get the card in the mail in 2-3 weeks and it's a conditional one for 2 years and etc.
