K1visaHopeful got a reaction from madmanmike in Please help on non-standard I-864 Support
I stand by that the protocol is if you applied online, you can respond to RFEs online.
I486 is paper filed so it should be paper answered.

Only a K1 is eligible for SSN within the first 90 days without EAD or GC approval.
A K2 must have EAD or GC approved before eligible.
Check out the SSA policy manual for more details.

K1visaHopeful got a reaction from JaredShadkin in Is it possible to get a credit card while doing an AOS?
From the many GUESSES you've received from VJ members, the SSN is an important document in obtaining credit.
Indicating if one has been obtained is important info left out of your post in order to help you.

K1visaHopeful got a reaction from Darko-Emily in Should a person carry a passport alongside EAD while AOS is pending?
Your EAD card states your filing category of C9 which confirms your pending AOS application.
I do recommend carrying a photocopy of your I485 Noa1 with your DL/State ID like you have been since filing incase whomever doesn't know what C9 means.
Your passport would only prove you entered the US as a K1. It would not prove you married or filed AOS.
Why confuse anyone?

K1visaHopeful got a reaction from AlexMiner2022 in Just got EAD card...Does it mean anything? (USCIS account showing no issues & Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS)
I765, I131 and I485 are parallel processes. That means that if you get an RFE for one of then, all of them pause until the RFE is satisfied.
Being approved for EAD has no relevance to being approved for AOS. They aren't even adjudicated at the same place unless IOE and if you're Mother of Mary Magdalena, you'll might have the same adjudicator.
I don't follow the road you are going down though.
Maybe reword it if I haven't answered it. Sounds like you are trying to connect dots that's aren't there though? I'm not sure.

That's great although I won't believe, typical.
I won't give it a "like" either so when others come crying to this post because theirs didn't take 3 weeks, they don't think I endorsed it as grail.
Future "looks" bright for others.

K1visaHopeful got a reaction from W199 in EAD/Work Permit and a Prior SSN
The only way to try to expedite EAD is to have a current job offer in writing.

I didn't bother checking, but I would imagine it would not be as accurate as to what my online case specifies. Plus others have reported their EAD came within a few months recently too, so it all makes sense. However, my AOS, EAD, and AP packet were scanned in at the Chicago lockbox and I got IOExxxx receipts accordingly, and an online account and access code to go with it. I hear some packages do not get scanned in, so are processed the more slowly manual way by moving the paperwork around. I don't know if I got lucky or if that is the normal way of processsing.

Noa1 can take up to 30 days from when the shipment was RECEIVED not sent before you are eligible to place an EMAIL (not phone) enquiry to the Lockbox.
With your shipping delay, it has definitely not been 30 days.
You already know it was received and when because you tracked it.

You said above that tracking says it took a week, so doesn't that mean you know it got there? Definitely don't send another if you know it has been delivered.

No timeline on their profile either.
I'm seriously thinking about boycotting all members who refuse to help us by filling out their timeline before asking questions in the forum.
I hope no one ends up using this post for help because by golly, it's all over the place and could confuse so many unnecessarily.

Gross Total Income comes before the Adjustments section. I cannot and won't quote line numbers because every year they seem to change it and I'm not about to go searching for this year's copy as I haven't filled yet.
Look at the paper copy of the ACTUAL tax return that you are to keep for your records for 7 years.
Are you using this info to fill something out?
Your timeline says you haven't been approved for a K1 visa but you've posted this in the K1 AOS forum.
Numbers on any Affidavit of Support must be supported and match financial documents. It's best you wait for the actual financial document that you can use as proof before you go inputting numbers incorrectly.

You find it on your actual income tax forms that you filed or your return tax transcript after you file taxes not an earnings statement (W2 or 1099).
Gross income for employed.
Gross adjustable for self employed.
