I am officially a US citizen!! The interview went well and the ceremony was done on the spot. I have been waiting for this moment for 27 years and I'm glad it's finally over!

So today ended my journey with USCIS - I became a US Citizen.
 
In terms of timeline, I submitted the application on February 5 2021.  Biometrics were conducted July 2021.  And interview (and oath ceremony) was today at the Charlotte Field Office.
 
For reference, I was a Diversity Lottery winner so I had to wait five years to apply.  My life in the US has been reasonably boring (lived in the same place, worked at the same employer, no misdemeanours or tickets etc), but I did divorce my ex-husband.
 
Can't speak highly enough of the Charlotte Field Office.  They have just nailed their processes - I was in and out within 2 hours - interview and oath included.

I was scheduled for my interview at 830, so came in at 815, at 825 was called by the officer, the officer was extremely nice, asked me 6 questions, then asked me to read "where is the white house" and to write the white house is in Washington DC. Then went over my n400, at 835 he told me congratulations, please wait in the waiting room, at 9 exactly my name was called by another officer who was holding my naturalization certificate in his hand, so he took me into a room and read the oath, I repeated after him the full oath, then he gave me my certificate, said congratulations and took me outside, I left the building at 9 10, then I ran to DMV and upgraded my real ID driver's license to enhanced driver's license for US citizens only (I maid an appointment for it online a week ago) then I ran to the passport agency and apply for a first time passport, it will be ready in 15 minutes, (made an appointment by phone by waiting over 3 hours on the line 2 weeks ago)
So this is pretty much it

Im waiting for 3 month for my oath and name change…. So it can be long waiting

Hey you guys!!!!! My interview was scheduled, got a notification right now for August 17th!!!!!

We got our interview notices. Mid August! Fingers crossed all goes well. Wish it was done already!

Oh wow CT decreased 3k apps, hopefully my oath will be soon. I already have picked up a dress

They are doing same day oath ceremony with certificates.  My wife had a name change, and they were able to handle that as well.
 
Thanks, tomorrow we're off to file for her passport.

You can add it during your interview. When I was asked the question and I was supposed to add something, like a religious club, she said that’s fine and didn’t even add it in my file. The officer can add it when you will have your interview.

I don't want to be this guy but why applying to get US citizenship if you don't believe in defending the US constitution? Green card gives you 99% of the benefits of citizenship without any of the responsibility.
 

Im not suggesting you did anything wrong. The thing is in the US you are often required to show proof of custody for various things and it seems you do not have such a document. Typically people are supposed to show proof of custody to relocate their kids to the US at the Embassy- and if you did  you would now have such documents. But you didnt (and thats OK) but it doesnt negate the fact that you still need these documents for other purposes. You may also run into problems in obtaining citizenship for your children as derivatives under your citizenship petition as you can not show you have legal custody of them. So you really should consult with a local family attny and see what kind of options they can offer you to get you a sole custody document where you live. It may be they recommend your husband files for adoption, it may mean a separate petition to the court filed by just you being granted sole custody. 
 
Your original question was poorly worded. It appeared at first you and the kids had not yet immigrated. It seems though you guys all have GCs now and you are eligible for citizenship (not sure if you have applied or not yet). You most likely will be approved w/o any issue but then for your kids to be derivatives (granted citizenship because you became one) you need to show both physical and legal custody- thats two different things. One means showing they actually live with you the other means showing legal document that you have custody. You dont seem to have the latter and w/o such you may not be able to get them passports or n600 certificates. So again I would recommend attempting to get such a document before you are granted citizenship yourself - otherwise you may end up in a case where the children do not become citizens through your naturalization because you dont have documents showing you in fact have custody. In which case it can get messy.
