  1. So, related to the part of income and assets information for the i-134 Affidavit of Support for the K1 Visa

My fiance has move back to the US from Spain, where he was teaching for the las 2 years, on the Affidavit of Support asks for anual income.

He filed taxes the last 2 years in US, with the income of his summer jobs.

Should he report his income for the last year, which include the spanish income or should he use only his US income (only for the summer) and make an avarage of how much he will be making for the year??

    Thanks so much!!

Congrats! Nice to see they are moving fast for you know :)

Yes, you have to check under Immigrant and the six steps message is just a generic one that doesn't apply for K1's.

So next thing should be the Embassy contacting you, but you can also email them once the case shows in the ceac website as "Ready" to provide them with your contact (specially email because I've been told that's what they use now) and let them know you are ready yourself.

    Best of luck! :)

    Thanks so much!!!

We would email the embassy then! :)

I would definitely recommend emailing or calling the embassy as soon as it says "ready". We made the mistake of waiting for them to email us and ended up wasting time. Also, check the VJ page for your embassy for info. Looking at the forum for your country might help, too.

    Thanks a lot!!

  3. We called today for the first time to the NVC, they received our case, we now have a case number and a Invoice ID number. The lady told us our file is ready to be sent to the Madrid Embassy! We are in sock!! that was soooo fast! Specially compared to our NOA2 nightmare.

    So now what??????

In the ceac tracker, only reconice my case number by selecting inmigrant visa, is that ok??

Then says: "Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment."

But the lady told us, we should wait to hear from the Embassy and we have not received anything from the NVC

I was not expecting this to go so fast! Now i'm freaking out!! :jest:

I realize this is little to no comfort to you  (or @Ana&Matt or @bluruce or @GInAustin or @Missabc or @Lovemycroatianman and the other February 2017 filers that haven't received the NOA2) but I truly feel your pain. I had thought we would all get the NOA2 at the same time and would all go through this together. And I truly believe that within the next week or so you will all receive it. You guys have offered me support and comfort and hope. You have all let me rant and vent and curse....and I am truly thankful. Without you guys I never would have made it this far  (and I realize it is far from over) And I desperately want to do the same for y'all.

It will come. The piece of paper will come and life will actually start moving forward again.

I look forward to continuing this journey with you guys...

Ohh the time will come!! And we will celebrate with some hurricanes!!! So happy for you :)

On my way to the mailbox today I tried to remind myself not to worry, not to be upset....that it would be here sooner or later. That the NOA2 did in fact exist and I would sooner or later receive mine  (because almost everyone will). I have to admit....it gets harder to convince myself day after day after day.

I opened the mailbox and grabbed the usual daily mail....pizza coupons and catalogs....and there it was. The Department of Homeland Security. The coupons and catalogs fell to the ground as I ripped opened the letter.....

Approved y'all. 169 days and today I received my NOA2.

    Approved

    OHHH

    SO HAPPY FOR YOU!! FINALLY!!!!

    Time to celebrate!!!

  6. So, here is my update.
We called USCIS Friday, they told us our case has been adjudicated and we should wait for a response.
We tried to get any more info, but there was no way...
We also received the answer from our congressman (finally!) with more of the same. Good at least to know that the Background Check is completed!

Thank you for your inquiry, relating to the I-129F petition, receipt number WACXXXXXXXXX, filed with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by MS. The Background Checks have been completed and this case is being returned to the adjudications unit. Your constituent should receive a notice of action in the next 45 days. If no notice has been received in that time frame, please contact us and we can follow up on the progress of the case.
We hope the information provided is helpful.  If we may be of assistance in the future, please let us know.

We are worry now, that we'll can receive at the end of August a REF...

    :(

I sent my request in on July 12th....the day it changed processing times to February 15. My request hasn't changed on the USCIS Website since then. Mine still says "assigned to an officer for response".

What I am worried about  (and what I am almost positive will happen) is.....now that they have rolled the date back to January 1st.....my inquiry will be void because NOW I am back "within normal processing times" (OMG....I have typed those words so often they show up on my word select and auto correct)

I am scared to call at this point.....I don't want to hear it again.....

I think I will be waiting for another two months for the NOA2.

Is so frustrating! We are calling USCIS in the morning.

I will let you know, even tho we are expecting same speech as always.

Maybe is a good idea for you to do an Infopass appointment?

We have schedule ours for 1st of August, that will be the date we reach the 180 days.

  8. Let see if any of you can help me. We did the e-request when the CSC processing date was updated to 15 of Feb.

Our NOA1 is 1st of Feb.

The Case History, in the Online USCIS tracker updated, with the following.
