N400 will speed up the process since N400 process time is way faster than I-751. However, N400 can not be approve without I-751 approve first, so most of the time we are end up with combo interview. It just a matter of how quick the field office process N-400 and how competent to request I-751 send to the field office for the combo interview.

Vietnam is one of the high fraud country. Look like your marriage is not bona fide in the eyes of CO. Just wait for NOID from USCIS then process to next step. We did received the passport with correct name.  The typo I'm talking about is the spouse name(not about the applicant name) in section 11 on the DS-11.

Our passport has shipped last Friday 3/3/2023. DOS received it on 1/27/2023. Locator number 62.

Don't ask for interview waiver, it can back fire I-751.

It just a minor issue, so nothing to worry. I'm also put my spouse "' First Name, Middle Name, Last name"' instead of "'Last name, First Name, Middle Name"' on the form too. As long as your name as a applicant matching the name on Nat certificate it should be OK. I'm into week 5 right now since DOS received it on 1/27. Website say 5-7 weeks for expedited, so we will wait and see.

It will depend on where your application was send to. I'm apply for expedite and it has "In Process" from 1/27.

Officer did asked for USC spouse to come in and interview both of us.I751 interview really simple since our case is solid. N400 was the same: standard civil test questions, Yes and No questions on the N400 form, then reading and writing on the tablet. Status changed to oath ceremony will be scheduled 30 mins after we left Dallas field office.
