YSC 1990447XXX.  8/28/19 sent I751, received 9/4/2019.  On line status said case received for the next 17 months. And then the 10 Green Card showed up in the mail.  The long wait is over.  It will be your turn soon!

Filed an I-751 in Sept 2019 (paper based; YSC case number) and an N-400 on December 2020, both based on marriage.

I just checked the I-751 status online and mine was approved yesterday! 19 months after filing

    hey guys!
I'm here to share our experience through the interview we file back in 09/16/2019 case was assigned to Nebraska.
I'm the usc wife had conditional card that expired in October 2019. i know we file a little late.

Anyway we got there like 20 min prior the time on the notice, they do al the check in trough a kiosk at the entrance of the office then we went into the waiting room
10 min later the officer came we had a translator for my wife in person she was given a form to fill out and sign due to covid she couldn't be on the same room
with us but she did everything by phone now to the interview.

officer was really friendly and professional , he went trough the i 751 application with us asking basic question like legal names address ssn etc.
he the proceeded to ask personal questions
    how we met?
    when we met?
    how did i propose?
how did we talk to each other?
what was the las movie we saw?
how many people attended or wedding ?

My wife answer most of them he asked if we had any more proof of our marriage to submit i said we had the same documents but they were recent like bank statements and tax transcript
he then told us he was going to recommend for approval and only needed his supervisor green light as well we were done in less than an hour.
the case changed to card being produced a few hours after interview.

I am convinced at this point that YSC has a box full of pending ROC applications that they stuffed into a closet somewhere that says "Do not open until Fall of 2020".  lol.  There seems to be absolutely no movement in this center.

Yep. That’s what I meant. My bad. Been so long, I’ve forgotten what part of the process were in. Lol. Anyways, I noticed that the cases were a mixture of all different visas. Which makes sense why a bunch are approved and cards received already :)

Just ran a few numbers to see where things stand at the YSC center.  There are a bunch of cases where cards were mailed starting about 65 cases after my husbands.  Hopefully we will hear something soon!

You will be fine. We had the same thing.  We got married on Aug 4, 2017 and my husbands AOS interview was December 14, 2017 so we only had 4 months of "proof" to bring.  We brought pretty much the same thing that you did plus 2 photobooks that I made on Shutterfly.  One was of our dating journey and one was from our legal wedding.  We also had a wedding reception planned for 2018 so I brought the venue information for that but they never looked at it.  The interview ended up being super casual and she really just talked to us more than anything.  Just be confident and you will be fine!  Good luck!

My husbands status said "finger print fee received" until it updated to "interview is scheduled".  So there was no change between them accepting the file and the interview being scheduled.  He got his green card last December and his status still says "interview is scheduled".  So I don't think the updates change too often. lol.  Hope you hear back soon but I wouldn't sweat it too much.

Hey Jon!  Good luck on your interview next week!  I can't speak from the beneficiary perspective but I can say that my husband (fiance' at the time) was also quite nervous when it was time for his interview.  In the long run, it was really quick and easy!  The London embassy seems to be a fairly easy one.  Just try to take a deep breath and be yourself.  Just be honest and let your love shine through and you will be fine.

I will say, before my husband's interview, we went through and read a lot of the London embassy reviews on here.  That helped calm his nerves a bit as well.  Just double check that your paperwork is in order and that you have everything that is required.  That will be one of the most important things.

    Best of luck to you!

The nonsense that you created.  No need to be so bitter over your own ignorance.  You asked a question and you received an answer.  You're welcome and have a great day.

When Jake and I booked few weeks back the availability was unbelievable. We could have had an interview 1.5 weeks later but we read about delays between the medical  and interviews, so decided we’d do the 21st Sept as our times aligned (as I’d like him here for moral support). All I’d say is you never know what things could look like when your case leaves NVC. Always remember you can book your interview a day or two after being ‘in transit’. You don’t have to wait until your case changes to ‘ready’ to book your interview. Another good way to look at it is, you’ve waited so long for NOA2-so this final wait time is insignificant

You have to track by shipper reference
    http://www.dhl.com/en/express/tracking/shippers_reference.html

Then put the information in like this:
Shipper Reference: EXP 21 AUG 2018A  (this one is the date you are looking for the reference from.  From my understanding it is the date that they package was shipped.  You can play around with this date to get different results)
Date Range:  I put in the range that I am looking for packages. So for this particular search I did Aug 21-today.
    Account number: Leave blank
Shipment Destination: Country you are looking for.  You can also leave this blank and it will pull up numerous shipments to different countries.

It doesn't help that people have become K1 visa "experts" from that reality TV show on TLC that has some completely incorrect information on it.
Just focus on what you are doing. We can't change the opinions of others.

Ashley Scott got a reaction from Brittani in Booking a round trip with the K1 visa?
We applied for my husbands AOS about a week after marriage.  I applied under my maiden name as I had not changed it yet.  We had no issues at all.  When we went for his AOS interview, I took updated forms with my married name on them but they didn't seem to be bothered either way. Biggest thing was the marriage license.

I knew that pound in the USA meant #. Maybe they assume that since you're set on moving there you'll know some of these things or at least have the intuition to think "hmm since no standard phone keyboard has a £, it must mean * or #" and Google it!
