Yeah, I guess we got lucky. We honestly just needed some good news and were very, very surprised to get the notification that the interview was scheduled. Good luck to you if you're still waiting.

I’m sorry he feels that way. I managed to find wifey an unpaid internship and I’ve heard of people volunteering and stuff. I think he should look into that? And maybe he should start applying for jobs since the hiring process takes a while at most companies so he can have an offer by the time he gets his EAD.

We just got the same update this morning. We have also received our EAD/AP combo card yesterday after filed for an emergency AP last week. Have you received your EAD yet?

I think you should just take the letter and go to the service center anyways. They usually allow walk ins before your appt date, so it’s worth trying to go after. I think you’ll be ok. It doesn’t make sense to wait 30 days and hold up the entire process.

Wait times at my office are 20 to 29 months. 😂😂😂
It sounds like a joke, I swear!

Not a good thing, I tell ya. Your thoughts should be occupied with things that actually matter or make a difference to you. Concerning yourself with random cyber strangers and what they do/don't do is really not the best use of your time or thoughts. Just a suggestion.

Yes, a suggestion that you have made more than once. I honestly don't understand why it's occupying a lot of your thoughts, but, yeah. I get the suggestion, just like the few times before. Thanks!

I am actually here to try to help other people with my previous experiences and get answers to questions that I might have now or in the future. I don't go looking for content that people post just to prove a point. I honestly don't have the time to do that.

I will stick to just the one account. Thank you for the "advice" though.

Try again and tell them the Officers have access to a system that they most likely don't have access to. Just keep insisting.

This is my wife's account. I was naturalized a couple of years ago.

I spoke to a L1 agent and he said he can't see an appt scheduled like @BrazilianInTexas said. I asked to speak to L2.

We have received the first round of NOAs a little over a week ago and haven't heard anything for the biometrics. I called the USCIS customer service line and of course the L1 agents are so incompetent that makes me want to bang my head against the wall. His response to the fact that we didn't receive the biometrics notice is that "The case takes 20-22 months and it's still within the normal processing times" and no matter how many times I explain that the biometrics don't have anything to do with the processing time of the case, he wouldn't understand. After going back and forth for a few mins and me insisting to be transferred to an officer, he finally agreed and put me through. I am still waiting on the L2 officer to call.
I got paranoid this morning when I read @BrazilianInTexas's experience about not getting an appt for 4 months.

Nice.
It is absolutely no surprise why the Uscis is in such a mess. How they figure out how to unlock the doors in the morning is probably almost a miracle.
I’ll be watching my mail even greater now...and not assuming anything with the return address of the USCIS is just junk mail!
hahaha!

I know people that work at the embassy and the first thing they mention is "Has the applicant traveled before? Where?"
If someone had a Schengen visa in the past and has traveled to Europe, they get the visa with no problem.

But everyone else got their visas from there within a week. I don't think that explains it at all.
