With the new data coming to light about the CDC calling for over-testing of samples from people, it is becoming more and more apparent that there were nowhere near the number of people infected that we were led to believe here in the US.  Not saying that covid isn't a real, just saying it isn't nearly as bad as the government is saying it is.

Garbage man is a really good job in some places.  Many U.S. cities have automated systems that don't require a lot of dirty work or heavy lifting.  Here in the Philippines, not so much.  I feel bad for those guys.
 
I was an industrial garbage man for Northrop Aircraft around 1975, right after high school, and fully enjoyed my 89 days on the job there.  Along with about 50 other guys, we were hired to assist painters paint the entire plant over the holidays.  The rest of the time, my job was drive around on an aircraft tug pulling trains of trash bins and rotating them.  I worked mainly with 2 guys that had hair down their ###, and quickly found out that one used the job to distribute his "goods" around the plant.  After 90 days you had to be hired as a permanent union employee.  Out of the 50 guys, he was the only one that got to stay, because his dad worked there.  The rest of us were laid off on day 89.
