PF is given to those who meet the minimum requirements for their immigration benefit that they are seeking in this case your VAWA application, once PF is give to someone the PF will be valid for one year after that year you have to apply for a new one. the benefit of PF is for the beneficiary to be able to use some public assistance nothing else

Hello Family
@Stillwinning!!!😊 @sandranj @Vawa&U @TBoneTX @FeDaniela @Pinkrlion @Ana FL @Apolo do we need to file I864W with i360 Package. which include the following application forms
1. I-360
2. I-765
3. I-131
4. I-485
No need to submit I-863 W. All you need is; I-360 I-485 I-765 and the I-131. When you are applying for a GC based on I-360 you don’t need to submit a I-863W since VAWA petitioner are exempt.

friends, can I create a USCIS account to check updates if I have a lawyer? I always check receipt numbers but thinking I should create an account
yes i did and it was way more easier for me to be on top of my case and to keep a track on most of it since my lawyer wasn't efficient

oh wow! that's a long process. I am glad you were able to get the divorce! Mine took 8 months. My ex didn't want to sign the papers, and then also kept changing addresses. Thank God the person who was hired to served him found him on the third attempt. otherwise, it would take me a long time too. I'd also say that it depends on how busy the local court is - some take quite a long time to review and approve it.
yeah it was but that didn't stop me to get my life in my hands and to decide to fight my abuser

thank you and yeah finally overall almost 6 years

Thank you. 2years? Why that long. I heard it is normally like 1 to 3months.
When i finally decide to file my divorce i wen to the family court and i had to file the petition and gather documents for my case it toke me 1-2 months, once i filed the documents i had to serve him with the divorce papers, i had to hire a company and it toke them 2 months to try and serve him since he was changing address and avoiding service. By law they have to make at least 3 attempts to serve him, and if they are unable to serve him the company issues a report that they were unsuccessful and i had to bring that to the family court and add this to my divorce file and then i had to pay the sheriff's office to put a notice at the local court house to try and notify my spouse for the divorce and I have to wait 30 days for the knowledge to expire, after that I had to hire a chef to try and locate and serve my spouse and I had to post that I am trying to locate and divorce my spouse in the the notify my spouse for the divorce and I have to wait 30 days for the notice to expire, after that I had to hire the chef to try and locate and serve my spouse and I had to post that I am trying to locate and divorce my spouse in the local news paper. Those were all requirements that i had to do to show the court that i did everything possible to notify my spouse about me wanting to divorce hm so we can have a fair trial. After that I had to schedule I have I have to submit my documents and to get a schedule coordinate for my final divorce that took a while and after the final divorce the date I had to go out to P in front of a judge so just can make a decision on my divorce eventually I got my divorce and the whole process took almost 2. This is my case yours can be faster

Avoid templates my dear! USCIS needs the gist and timeline of your relationship not how you structure your response or grammar! Tell them to just write it like it is…draft all they know about your relationship up until the abuse! Then state that the affiant is swearing under oath or affirming the information on the affidavit .You should do the same.😊👍
@Fishy89 i fully agree with the statement of @Stillwinning!!!😊 my affidavit was without a templet the person that did the affidavit did it in a word document telling his impression of the relationship and what they have witness and how they were feeling about me and my relationship. at the end attached a copy of state id sing it and notarize it and that was it it was 2-3 pages

Sometimes USCIS doesn’t update the current status… most people find out the real time progress of their cases when they get 3rd party help like congressman or senator! It’s also possible that it hasn’t been transferred yet… not unusual as well. My i360 was approved in March 2019 and i485 transferred in June 2019… so I guess you can chill a lil bit dear.😊
Yes i fully agree, all my updates on my case was given to me by my congressman, when i reached out to him and ask for assistance, zero assistance from my attorney in regards updating me on my case or moving my case forward. All i can say is thank you God for your support, thank you my congressman you are awesome and thank you my VJ Family you were my light in this dark times
