Wait, you're planning to lie about visiting for only 2 weeks then turn around and stay for 5-6 months, lying that you have a job (which you're going to quit before you depart) and you're wondering what? What could possibly go wrong ...

I thought everything was digital now, I had film which I duly brought and basically it is a souvenir, chucked it a few moves ago.

I believe you MUST upgrade them after taking the oath.  Besides, I see no advantage to their remaining as F2a.

DCF through emergent need to return to the US and take up a position? In which case, you better not have filed online I-130 as that will disqualify you from DCF.

I don't see why it wouldn't work fine.

I would file an N-400 (if you qualify) before filing a WOM.  I have seen only one or two I-751s processed within 90 days....and those were used to boost USCIS numbers.

You posted this under Adjustment of Status from K-1.  Why did you file an I-130?

Sure, anyone with a spare $6k can file a WOM.  Go for it.

Perhaps studying the VJ guide below would be helpful/  The immigration process requires a great deal of knowledge, planning, time, patience, and a significant amount of money.  Good luck.

DCF is not normally available to a visitor.  You can explain your situation and ask the consulate.

Your US fiance should have discussed things like this with you.  The immigration process requires a great deal of knowledge, planning, time, patience, and a significant amount of money.  The following K-1 flowchart might be helpful:

Yes, completely normal.  Note that being actively reviewed doesn't mean anything at all is happening, in this context.  It's just a misleading label.  Your case is in a queue waiting to be actively reviewed.  That active review is usually about 20 minutes of human activity.

I have seen cases where a copy worked.  I have seen cases where it didn't work.  However, the official Carrier information guide says the original extension letter must accompany the expired Green Card:

Tier 1 reps tell all sort of nonsence all the time, unfortunately. And the worst thing is: you cannot hold them accountable. There's so many people who followed bad advice from those folks only to find VJ was more factually accurate source of information. Travelling with original extension letter is challenging from time to time, let alone a copy.

She won't get an appointment before Tuesday.  I would take the approved Advance Parole document and the notice of approval of the Green Card.

To be safe, I would have her request an ADIT/I551 stamp in her passport.  I would be calling USCIS requesting "Infopass"

    Good Luck!

You may request an appointment online or you may call the Contact Center at 800-375-5283 (TTY 800-767-1833, VRS 877-709-5797). Depending on your situation, you may not need to visit an office in person if you need proof of your immigration status or have been issued permanent residence through an Immigration Judge.

This is probably a better idea as I assume she will be flying through Dublin or Shannon which are both preclearance with CBP.

    You seem to expect:
    1) USCIS work fast and provide consistent experience
    2) People on USCIS help line to tell you truth

    Neither is true...

4-6 weeks for checks to get cleared and receive notice in the mail is the norm. I wouldn't worry about checks clearing or receiving notice in the mail until May 5th or so.

The cost for a K-1 petition, adjustment of status, Work authorization, and advance parole is at least $3,490 now. To that, you must add medical exam, travel expenses, etc.
