In general, yes. However, there are variables such as background checks, individual adjudicator workload, etc. which affect the completion times of individual cases.
Oh man....I was afraid that might happen. She should receive a receipt notice and an extension letter in 1 to 3-6 weeks which will extend the expiration date on her Green Card for 4 years. She can travel with the extension letter along with the expired Green card.
Here in Dallas, we have windshield stickers (RFID) with sensors that are read when you drive onto a tollway. That gives you a huge discount....but no cash. You have to preload your account. If you don't have a sticker, they track you down by lic plate number (photo).....and stick you with a big fee.
Once you get 6 of 10 correct, they stop asking. That means you can pass after just 6 questions if you answer them all correctly. The 2020 version is no longer used. The 2008 version is active.
You would NOT remove your wife as a household member. You would remove her income and any documents pertaining to her income. I would upload a complete new package.
Note: Do not count her more than once in the entire household size calculations. Part 5, #3 should be "0".
