That is the big question....I used to think he was.....but Biden has done some stupid things. -
Damning report on Bidens Mental Competency
Crazy Cat replied to Boiler's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
Who is actually in control in the WH right now? We all know it isn't Biden. Whoever it is will lose a lot of power if MO runs....and wins. I think there is a power struggle in the works right now, but it is being hidden. -

Good luck with your immigration case. Be careful with that blood clot issue. I'm not sure traveling is a good health decision. Good luck. -
US Visa Interview Tips & Advices - Will visit my boyfriend
Crazy Cat replied to Strawberryjaaam's topic in Tourist Visas
Truthfully. The last thing you want to do is to lie to a US immigration Officer. There are numerous cases where that came back to haunt people later. -
I751 denied
Crazy Cat replied to Koke Sisman's topic in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
Why was it denied? I bet Hacking would advise you to avoid travel. -
In Dec 2022, they were doing SOME same day interviews. However, they did not offer that to my wife. Our interview was on Dec 14th. She took the oath in Plano on January 26th....along with about 1,000 other new citizens.....roughly 6 weeks after the interview. Hopefully, someone with more recent experience will chime in.

The Dallas office emailed us 2 days prior to Wife's interview date to inform us it would be a combo interview. Then, the guard at the door asked if we had gotten an email. I had been preparing for a combo interview for weeks.

Irish citizen marrying US citizen
Crazy Cat replied to devliop's topic in What Visa Do I Need - Family Based Immigration
This is posted under the K-1 forum area. If you live together why not a spousal visa? Every couple has their own priorities, and each couple must decide which visa is better for their situation. K-1 More expensive than CR-1 Requires Adjustment of Status after marriage (expensive and requires a lot of paperwork) Spouse can not leave the US until she/he receives approved Advance Parole (approx up to 6 months) Spouse can not work until she/he receives EAD (approx up to 6 months) Some people have had problems with driver licenses, Social Security cards, leases, bank account during this period Spouse will not receive Green Card for many months after Adjustment of Status is filed. A K-1 might be a better choice when 18-21 year old children are immigrating also In some situations, marriage can affect certain Home country benefits, making a K-1 a better choice A denied K-1 is sent back to USCIS to expire K-1 entrant cannot file for citizenship until after having Green Card for 3 years. Once an I-129F has been approved, delaying the case is difficult to impossible if the need arises. CR-1/IR-1 Less expensive than K-1 No Adjustment of Status(I-485, I-131, I-765) required. Spouse can immediately travel outside the US Spouse is authorized to work immediately upon arrival. Spouse receives Social Security Card and Green Card within 2 or 3 weeks after entering the US Opening a bank account, getting a driver's license, etc. are very easily accomplished with GC, SS card, and passport. Spouse has legal permanent Resident status IMMEDIATELY upon entry to US. The clock for citizenship filing starts immediately upon entry to the US. A CR-1/IR-1 case can be delayed indefinitely at NVC if the need arises. -
Help
Crazy Cat replied to Clarevalley's topic in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas
An I-130 would not be required if the marriage takes place within 90 days of entry into the US by the K-1 visa holder. If the marriage takes place after 90 days, then an I-130 & I-130a are required. But, of course, the visa holder would be out of status after that 90 days. -
I-751 Questions
Crazy Cat replied to VisaVisaVisaVisa's topic in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
I agree 100%. But, if you consider how many I-751s actually go to court and win, I think the final denial rate is less than 1%. No need for I-751s, imho. -

Explanation: Entering the US via a NON-immigrant route (other than a K-1) with the intent to stay and adjust status is visa fraud. A person must enter with the intent of the classification of the issued visa. Having an approved I-130 makes no difference. Discussing it borders on violation of the Terms of Service here on Visa Journey. Question on K1 Visa (My Story)
Crazy Cat replied to fritz222's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
The requirement to file a K-1 is having met once in the past 2 years. I think seeing each other every day for 7 weeks is sufficient for a K-1's meeting requirement. Good luck on the journey. -
This is how DQ normally works: 1. Case is DQ'd by NVC. 2. Case then enters NVC queue for your consulate and waits at NVC. 3. Consulate informs NVC of available interview date for upcoming month. 4. NVC schedules interviews for cases at the front of the line. 5. NVC schedules your interview when your case reaches the front of the queue for that consulate. 6. NVC notifies person of interview date via email. 7. NVC then sends case to consulate. After the interview is scheduled, it can take several days to several weeks for the consulate to receive the case.
