    It's about a month too early to reach that conclusion. Looks like they received it within the window. Patience is still the key. Do NOT send another package before hearing their response.

    Need to know if he signed an I-407. If he signed to surrender his status, I see no alternative other than to start over by filing for adjustment of status. Once a proper I-485 is filed, he will be granted authorized stay in the US until the I-485 is either approved or denied. A competent immigration attorney might be warranted now.

    Yes. A tax return is generated by the taxpayer....A tax transcript is generated by the IRS. Either is acceptable.

    ***I moved this topic to the Mexico, Latin, & South America regional forum for a specific consulate answer*** Personally, I'm not aware of any consulate immediately returning a passport with the visa inside these days. I have heard that was done many years ago.

    Yes. I should have said both must meet the requirements such as having filed taxes and domicile . Thanks for clarifying.

    It is. Just send everything you sent to the IRS such as schedules, W-2s, etc.

    I hope you calculated the 90 day window correctly. I'm not sure why people file I-751s so early. Waiting a few days makes no difference at all.....and it eliminates the worry. You are still early. It's been only 2 weeks. The fee waiver can delay the receipt notice too. Within the next month you should receive a response from USCIS. Hang in there. Once you get through this I-751, the process gets very easy.

    I have read of that happening. I think they are supposed to call 3 times before dismissing the issue.

    The request came from Trump through other officials as stated by Patel in an interview I saw yesterday.. The "Jan 6 committee" buried that information and lied to the public. It's very clear they had an agenda to condemn Trump from day one. Look at who was on the committee.

    Your spouse would still be the primary sponsor, and he must meet all the qualifications of sponsorship. Your sister would be the joint sponsor, who must also meet the requirements of sponsorship.

    They cannot enter the US as visitors with the intent to stay and adjust status. That is visa fraud. You can, however, submit I-130s for them to immigrate via IR-5 visas.

    Because all US citizens and Green card holders must report world-wide income regardless of where they reside or work.
