Prepare a new, corrected I-864 and upload it to CEAC. Then take it to the interview. DS-260 can be corrected at the interview.

The answer is "No" if she has never submitted a DS-260. Note: Even if she had ever submitted a DS-160, the answer would still be "No".

That is the correct procedure. You filed correctly. Spouse's foreign income (not continuing after immigration) should not be entered on an I-864.

Welcome to Visa Journey. The attorneys are wrong. Unless self-employed, CURRENT annual income is what determines the ability to support a new immigrant...not what was reported on past tax returns. Yes, those attorneys are wrong.....as we see here quite a bit. Current annual income is calculated as follows: Gross income from latest pay stub multiplied by the number of pay periods in a year (12 months).

Your spouse's previous income would not be relevant to your being able to support her after immigrating. Immigration officials are concerned with what your income will be over the next 12 months. Becoming an "A" student of this whole process and forms makes it much smoother. The immigration process requires a great deal of knowledge, planning, time, patience, and a significant amount of money. Failing in any one area can cause delays or worse.

Physical address can be defined as where you sleep. Street Address vs. Mailing Address (painintheenglish.com) "Consider the U.S. Cusoms Landing Card -- it simply asks for "street address". And apparently this is exactly what they mean. They actually want the address where they can physically hunt you down. Same goes for FAA & FCC licensing. The FAA/FCC does not care where you receive mail or packages, they want to know where you sleep".

You just married last week. Submit a letter to your landlord and ask to add him to the lease immediately. USE THAT AS EVIDENCE.

If he is spending the night at your address, that is his new physical address. Having a lease doesn't mean he is still living there. He is simply finishing a lease obligation after having moved. In this situation, do not complicate the situation.

You are living together at your address, imo. Do not mention anything otherwise in a cover letter.

Income and assets are different. That was a mistake. Her current income would be relevant only if it was to continue after immigration. That is likely what triggered the note.

Why would the consulate use the word "Denied" rather than "Refused" or "Administrative Processing" ?

There are no new USCIS rules. There is no 90 day rule for USCIS. You can file as soon as you get the marriage certificate.

But the use of the word "denied" is weird and concerning. "Refused" would be more appropriate for a case in AP.
