    Hi, I'm a sponcer of I -134 for K1 visa. Everything was approved. There's no pending cases. I'd like to know if I change my address, should I submit I -865 form? USCIS website says if you file I -864 , submit I -865.

    Our K1 visa interview experience at Guangzhou on 28 May 2024. I’m not sure it’ll help you. NVC sent our approval petition to Guangzhou consulate in 2 weeks , CEAC status changed to READY. I sent an inquiry to the consulate what to do next. And replied us Wait for an instruction for next steps. My fiancé received Packet 3 by express mail at her home address in one week. We followed all the instructions on Packet 3. She mailed all the documents requested to the consulate via China Post. In one week the consulate received her documents and sent Packet 4 by email. Now it’s ready to create an account and register. She was allowed to make a payment for the processing fee, after successfully complete payment, she was able to make an interview appointment. There was a calendar showing availability of the interview dates. She picked one. It’s very easy process. I have no idea if the availability calendar shows up to next year. You can make some inquiries to Guangzhou consulate when you have questions. I think the consulate will give correct answer. Good luck

    Google search keywords is “immigrant visa unit questions U.S. consulate Guangzhou “ there you’ll find a right website. Make a polite inquiry. The Guangzhou consulate IV unit staff are very nice. Our petition is K1. The Immigrant Visa Unit is in charge of K1 at the Guangzhou.

    Thank you for your concern. I sent an inquiry to the consulate Guangzhou what to do and the consulate answered me back “wait for an instruction “ then sent me another instruction “ you can submit DS160 , create an account and register now “. A few days later, my fiancé received an instruction packet (packet 3?) by express mail. She mailed back all the documents that needed to be mailed requested by the instruction packet. A week later, the consulate emailed her “ ready to make an interview appointment.” I’m not sure if it’s the same process for other country’s Embassy.

    My fiancé is coming to the U.S. with K1 Visa. I’m moving to other states. The address that she was going to stay with me will be different from ones on the document in the sealed K1 visa package envelope. The arrival Airport for POE will be far away from the original address. Can she just tell her updated address at POE, or she will need to show a proof of address change? I’m afraid of getting her in a big trouble at POE. I hope someone will be able to answer this question. Thank you

    Hi, how are you VJ friends CEAC status “ READY “ Should we start submitting DS 160 or wait for US Embassy Guangzhou’s email notifications? Some people say “go ahead to submit DS160, some other people say “wait for Embassy notifications “ . I have no idea what is the best way . This is for K1 visa. I had to select “ immigrant visa “ category to see the status.
