  1. Hello everyone, I'm hoping somebody reading this can help me.... My husband went for his interview October 4th of 2023. He had all the documents we needed but Consular said she did not believe it was for the right purpose. I have been waiting for a denial letter cause I am the petitioner, it's been more than 6 months what do I do. I've been calling the USCIS and they say they have not received it. But Consular said she would send it back for further review. What can I do? The country is Senegal. thanks
  2. When a person is denied at her interview, how does it take for them to send it back to USCIS? and will i get notice letting me know that they have received it?
  3. No im just saying if they have a big reception make sure they say it cause it may make a difference in the CO's decision. No never lie. I told the truth.
  4. I'm in the same situation. They are going to ask her a lot of questions and will probably do a telephone interview with you. We were denied and are now going through USCIS review because they said are answers didnt match. They wanted to know why my previous marriage ended. Oh and make sure you tell them that you had a large reception. Because i told them that we did not have a reception they looked at that as just getting married for papers and didnt even celebrate. We didnt have money to celebrate. we had all the documents they required and she didnt even look at them. Just said " We are sending your petition back to USCIS for further review. So be prepared. They called me why my husband was was waiting in their waiting area to be called. They can be sneaky when they suspect you.
  5. Thanks for responding. I dont understand why I would have to reapply. I've read in other forums where it only took 9 months to get reaafirmed after the uscis reviewed her case.
  6. I have a very important question. ...My husband went to interview, had all the docs required of us, but at the end of the interview was told that they are sending our petition back to uscis for review. The paper did not say denied, it only said that they were sending it back. Does this mean that we are going to get a NOIR (notice of intent to revoke)? She said our anwsers didnt match and because we did not celebrate afterward that it wasnt real. She didnt even look at our proofs of me visiting every year or the photos we wanted to submit. Anybody experienced this before?
  7. Just wondering what documents do I need to take with me to the Medica exam?
  8. No he's not married never been married but i was married 2 other times. and we have my divorce decrees so i guess we"re ok.
  9. Well i was approved Oct of 2022 but i wasnt dq'd until Jan. 2023 does that make a difference?
  10. I am now finally DQ'd since Jan. 31st 2023. My question is will my husband be asked about polygamy marriage cause he is Muslim? and what documents do you need to take to the Dr. And how long will my wait be before we get the interview letter (iv)
  11. A friend wanted to know "if a person is filing for a spousal visa for a 3rd time Will there be a problem". Will the USCIS already know?
  12. Whats the differnce between a photo copy and a certified copy? Its either original or a copy.
  13. Does anybody know of anybody using a copied doucument at interview? I dont have my original document from my divorce. Will they except a copy at the interview? (Senegal embassey) ir-1. and also i wanted to know if its a good thing to be promoted from cr-1 to ir1 or it doesnt help my case any?
