  1. Thanks. Congratulations!!!! My wife said they asked her the 6 easiest ones...LOL.
  2. Local office stats are very important. You are still in the normal processing time for Las Vegas cases (according to USCIS)
  3. Very few I-751s and N-400s are denied. During the quarter ending 3/31/204, only 1 out of every ten non-military N-400s were denied, and only about 1 out of every twenty I-751s were denied by USCIS: quarterly_all_forms_fy2024_q2.xlsx (live.com) If you consider the number of denied cases later appealed or resubmitted successfully, the denial rate is extremely small.
  4. Yes. That is how they select jury pools here in Dallas county. She registered to vote the same day as her oath ceremony in early 2023.
  5. Today, wife received a summons for jury duty in Dallas County, Texas. My research shows that Dallas County has a "one day/one trial" system. If she is not selected for a court by 4:30pm on her first day of service, she will be dismissed. This is very different from my experience (in another state) about 20 years ago. I seem to remember being on standby for 6 months. Anyway, this will be an experience for my wife, the new citizen.
  6. Worst case scenario is that you would have to get a new medical. Hopefully, your visa will be issued soon.
  7. ***Topics merged***Do not restart this topic with a new thread*** You wait until the status changes to "Issued". All cases go through some form of Administrative Processing prior to issue.
  8. It's been only a couple business days. Hopefully, you will get a response soon. Be aware- Do NOT submit an I-130 to USCIS until you get a response from the consulate.
  9. I heard a very nice analysis of this election this morning. The pundit said: "Are Donald Trump's strengths more dangerous than Joe Biden's weaknesses". My opinion is no. Let's face it. Biden has no strengths....none.
  10. Subit the N-400. There is a very decent possibility for a combo interview (or no I-751 interview at all). You could be rid of USCIS by Christmas.
  11. Bringing his mother to the US to live is way down the road several years. He has a lot of other things to consider first. He must become a legal resident, then become a citizen before he can petitioner her.
  12. **Two threads concerning OP case have been merged***
  13. In early 2023, wife received her Naturalization Certificate 7 weeks after receiving her passport. There was no tracking. Some people get them back faster.
  14. Correct it at the interview and/or at POE .
  15. You are still within normal processing times. Nothing you can do at this point. Patience is the key during the entire immigration process. Hang in there.
  16. You stated, in another post, that you are the beneficiary. In what country will you interview? Boarding passes and passport stamps are preferable to itineraries.
  17. Visa expiration will 6 months from the medical....at most. It could be even less. It is not based on visa approval date.. This is 100% accurate.
  18. Lower taxes, lower gas prices, lower grocery prices, less political persecution of political opponents, and a more secure border would help me. I couldn't care less about mean tweets.
