Exactly. I am neither an IO nor an immigration attorney, but I do believe that by sending that evidence he shot himself on the foot. Maybe they do have a genuine relationship, but to the eyes of an IO that might be a red flag, and rightfully so. Yes, there are plenty of couples with a huge age gap and they were approved, but that doesn’t mean that it’s going to be easy for anyone with an age gap. Every immigration case is unique.

I agree with you. It’s not mostly about age gap. I didn’t read the part where the US wife sends him money, that’s actually kind of a red flag itself. I also read he submitted the money transfer receipts? I’m now actually worried for him.

Or even: did you submit receipts of money transfer from the petitioner to you as evidence of bona fide relationship? Do you have 29 years of age gap?
Some people read only what they want to read I guess…

Hello, from what I understand they only met 3 times face to face. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. 

Really?   Some of the most senior VJ members are commenting on this post, have been reading here and going through immigration for years, and have seen MANY visa applicants with a culturally atypical age difference denied.   

It is very rare we ever get the full story. There are certainly indications of multiple issues I agree one factor only such as age is unlikely to be a show stopper.

So an interesting question:  If she moved to (sunny utopia of) Pakistan would you be in a position to support her?  Better yet, can you support yourself?

Everyone's case is different. To say "I didn't have problems" doesn't mean someone else won't. I've been on here just over 2 years, which is enough to have seen problems where there's (1) a K1; (2) there's a heterosexual relationship where the petitioning USC woman is considerably older than the man; (3) the applicant is from a country with a high level of fraud; (4) there are differences in religion/class/education/employment history/fluency in the other's language; (5) money is being transferred (in either direction); (6) families don't approve or don't know what's happening; (7) not much time is spent together in person, particularly where there's been a short online acquaintanceship; and (8) I am sure I forgetting many things from this laundry list!
 
This is not to say these are insurmountable hurdles. You have an issue? You meet it with evidence that the relationship is genuine. Sometimes that may not be enough, and you need to be ready. It may not even be an issue at all, like many of the other posters here have mentioned in their own cases that seemed to have red flags.
 
Prepare for the worst, and do as much as in your power to make sure you can hope for the best.

LOL its not that bad.  This?  Is unfortunate but there is nothing here that isn’t fixable

Thanks. And yes we are thinking of detailed explanation letter and in case we didn’t understand the rules correctly ask forgiveness since it under spousal immediate relative section. I think if we don’t acknowledge that we might be wrong and write a defensive letter we might as well leave US now. 

IRS clearly defines source income as the physical location the person is in while doing the work and sets very clear regulations about both billable work and passive income.
If you want to enter the US and continue to work there are paths to do that.  K1 is not one of them.
