Yes, everything is complete.
Was only asking because you mentioned that one usually continues and the other restarts. I'm trying to find out if I should expect a delay on my case or if I am going to hear something very soon.
My current timeline in mentioned below:
03/14: NOA1
03/21: RFIE for B/C I-485
04/02: Biometrics completed
06/05 : USCIS's RFE received (B/C I-485)
Then I think you should be fine. I remember reading some people received RFIE like right after USCIS had gotten their package, so basically they were not even going to look at it until all the documentation was complete. But if you already got NOAs and biometrics then that means your case is progressing and probably just paused until they got your BC

Is there a difference between RFIE and RFE?
The document that I received in mail was titled "Request For Initial Evidence".
But my case status online says "Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received".
I just assumed they were the same thing.
Have you received NOA1 and done biometrics?

Hello House,
Since yesterday my case keep updating every 25-30mns. Yet is still showing, "READY TO BE SCHEDULED FOR AN INTERVIEW" Does anyone experience this? Or did your case did that before updating to SCHEDULED?
Do you mean that you keep getting notifications? If so yeah it keeps happening to me and I already have my green card. I keep getting the "card was delivered" update all day long. I think it's a glitch.

I’m in the same boat as you, received an RFE for my B/C in June and my NOA1 is March 19th. Im still unsure if the date changes or not. Some say it does others say no. But USCIS haven’t said anything other than they’ve received my response. Sorry i don’t have the answer but I’m hoping we stay in the 5 month bracket for EAD/AP. The wait has already been long.
Have you made an enquiry yet?
I've heard the date changes/resets when you get an RFIE, but for RFE supposedly it just stops and starts back up again

I pray the case processing times are somewhat accurate. The EAD/AP has now changed to March 16th. 🙏 (apparently these are “high fives” not “praying hands” See it however you like lol)
They've always been praying hands on my phone lol. These are high fives ✋🏼 🖐🏼 🙌🏼

For those who have got their interview notice, how long in advance did you receive the interview notice? Our case status just updated today to interview scheduled (March 8th receipt date, San Antonio, TX office) and I’m worried the interview date is going to be before September 10th. My husband and I will he married for 2 years on September 10th, so I’m hoping the interview date is after the 2 years, so that he can get the permanent green card and not have to pay more money to apply for removal conditions. We are also going to be out of town the last week of August, so I really hope they give more than 3 weeks notice. We have to go out of town for my grandpa’s funeral. Would love some insight!
Hello! Interview usually happens between 1-2 months after receiving the notice on the mail 😊

Just back from the info pass appointment. We were the only ones there. Everyone was super nice. She gave him a one time AP good until October. She said if his combo card comes before he needs to leave to use that instead. What an absolute incredible relief. It hasn’t sunk in yet that he will not have to make the choice between seeing his father and staying here. Holy ####### I can’t believe that is done. And probably the card will come in the next few weeks anyway but at least his whole family can breathe a sigh of relief!!! This has been SOOOO a stressful. BTW they told me that are really pressured to stay within the printed processing times so I really do think us March people will all have good news in the next two weeks!
I'm SOO glad!! Thank you so much for updating us, and with such great news; I was so worried for you guys and have been praying for you. Breathe easy now ❤

Please don’t all think that the processing times for the green card are set in stone. Yes they are a guide but you can get lucky. I filed in late March and received my interview letter a couple of days ago. That’s 4 months. My interview is scheduled for early August so that’s 5 months pretty much in total if all things go well. The estimated processing time for my local office (Portland, ME) is 11-20 something months when I looked yesterday. There is hope 💜
Exactly! I would look at the VJ stats for your field office, as I feel like that is more reliable. Someone speculated that the "minimum" time stated on the USCIS website, is actually the time by which 50% applicants have received their GC. Its just speculation but I think it makes sense

I get scam calls from the "IRS" on a daily basis. I keep block them but they keep calling me from different numbers. Once I picked up because I wanted to know what they want. A guy on the phone said I need to tell him my Social Security number because it got suspected and if I don't want to get in trouble, I need to verify my Social Security number. My answer was like "how funny is this. I don't even have a Social Security number yet but it already suspected?" The guy hunged up on me LOL
Be careful, IRS or Social Security never call you they only send letter, and USCIS also call you ONLY if you call them and ask for a Tier1 or Tier2!!
I keep getting those calls daily too. They say my SS number has been suspended due to suspicious activity and that all my benefits have been suspended too. But I've never received a SS benefit in my life 😂

For those of you who have received your GC already; do they upload the tracking number to the USCIS website?
Yes they do once it changes to USPS has picked up your card

Day two after the AOS interview and the case status still says Approved.. What do I have to do for them to start making the damn card lol (jk)
Mine took like 5 days to change and another week to arrive. Hang in there, you are already a permanent resident

Has anyone else had this experience?
Yes, this happened to me with my first social security card. I filed a complaint on the informed delivery site and it said to give it a week. A week passed and nothing. I called them but unfortunately they were not much help at all, only told me to monitor my credit report from now on. I had to request a replacement be sent. I hope this doesn't happen to you and that it shows up soon.

It seems like everyone is asked for their health insurance at the interview.
I don't have my EAD yet, therefore no SSN so I couldn't get health insurance. Will this be an issue at all?
They asked if I had one but I never showed it or anything because it wasn't the same as my husband's. As long as you show some joint bills you will be fine

Our interview notice asks for 3 years of full tax returns, anyone else have this? Is this needed?
Just bring the ones you have from the last 3 years. The most important thing is that the minimum income is being met right now. My husband only presented the tax return for 2018 as he was unemployed before, and current pay stubs, and we were approved no issues

Did you sign it after the interview?
No during but it was basically over by that point

I wasn’t even paying attention when I signed, but I do remember him signing first before he asked me to sign
Something very similar happened to me. I signed and don't know what it was. I think it's for the yes/no questions that they ask. They have you sign that you were telling the truth.

Does it just mean it's going to take months before they actually schedule one?
It really depends on where you live. I received the interview notice less than a month after I got that update. I hope it's the same for you!

Hi guys! Could anyone tell me how long folks typically spend at USCIS for their interviews?
I’ve heard the interview itself is usually around 15-20 minutes. While I know this varies by field office (I’m in Wichita), how long have you guys waited there? Thank you!
We waited around 2 hours to be called and the interview lasted like 40 minutes

Hi everyone, I’m applying from Maine (Portland my local office) I checked the app today and found this update!
My AP still says fingerprints were complete and my EAD says my case was received. Has anybody else had a similar thing happen? Does anyone have any sort of idea as to what I can expect with any progress? 😊
Hi, it means your I-485 is at your local field office currently

By any chance do you know what to fill in the VJ timeline for EAD and AP if I got my GC first? I don't see any option for them being cancelled. Should I just leave them blank? I'm just thinking, wouldn't it mess up the timeline for others though?
Congratulations! Personally I deleted anything I had put for EAD/AP and have now left that part 100% blank

MARCH 2019 - AOS Filers
in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports

My interviewer asked if we had brought his original birth certificate and if she could see it. Idk why since he wasn't born in the US and it wasn't even in English, but she did look it over. We brought absolutely everything just in case lol
