Yes of course.  It's standard operating procedure to hand that to the beneficiary upon arrival.  Don't leave immigration without it. Everyone on a K1 will have one. Usually they attach it to the outside of the "do not open" envelope.  Peek through the plastic you may see it.

I think this is the right decision to go see your husband and try to work things out. If it won’t be successful at least you tried everything you could. Chances are 50/50. I sincerely hope you will succeed. Good luck!

I’m sorry you are going through this. It’s a very difficult situation to go through. I don’t know if anyone here would be able to give you any advice on hw to stop him from dng what he’s doing now as it’s totally upto him. But why don’t you try talking to him or talk thru a family member that he respects? 

Unfortunately, you cannot force someone to remain married to you nor can you force someone to continue your visa process...since you are in two separate countries, counseling doesn't seem like a feasible option at this point...all you can do at this is try to talk to him and find out where his head is at.  Perhaps he has anxiety about the marriage with the thought of you actually coming to the US soon (it seems more "real" to him now), perhaps there is someone else in the picture.
 
It may make things better, however it may also make things far worse if he's not willing to work anything out..plus just showing up at his home (if he doesn't wish to continue any sort of relationship with you) may not be in your best interests if he doesn't want you to stay with him under the same roof while in the US--because then where would you go?  
 
One good thing (if there's anything "good" about this situation), is that you're finding this out now---instead of after you've already cut any financial/employment ties in your home country to move.
 
Sorry this happened to you...hopefully things will work out----if they do not, you're a stronger person for it.

Immigration-wise, prenups have no role in the process.
 
Beyond that,  where the marriage occurs doesn't matter. What does matter is the content of the agreement. It is often difficult to enforce one unless it is carefully drafted. This is something to speak to family law attorneys about, as is the enforceability (or potential lack thereof) of any such agreement across countries.
Note that I said "attorneys". Separate, independent attorneys representing each party would be optimal to avoid one party claiming that the contract was drafted in favor of the other party (e.g. if it is being paid for by that party).

@Creamy as Tara said take everything with you but there’s no guarantee they will look into it. I had already submitted all docs except wedding plans while I sent I-129 application but when they gave us 221g they asked for them again. So we resubmitted everything that was already provided. I really do believe it depends on the CO how the day goes no matter what documents you provide prior to or on that day. Best wishes for a smooth interview

We read over the piece of paper that was given to us and we gathered everything we could. I had photos, Facebook posts, messages and call logs, all wedding plans and receipts (dress, cake, venue, link to wedding website), and financial transaction for W.U or Money Gram, and notarized letters showing intent to marry.
Anything that was listed and we didn’t have i.e wedding rings we explained why on a list of documents 

Congratulations Yes it's absolutely fine Moreover it will be given on your visa stamp uptill when you can enter USA, Medical Validity for AOS is one year take copy of medical report , you LL require to attach with AOS application.

@An&Ak Thankyou. I hope you both gets yours soon too. If you haven’t contacted congressman yet may be you should try that. I don’t know if that made any difference in our case but things definitely started moving after their enquiry. Ours being Indian Consulate I would think that made an impact as we all know how things work in India.

The merit based system that has been proposed will more than likely not happen at all. Even if it did happen it would not affect petitions for spouses, fiances, or children. 

I’d worry about it when it actually happens...which is unlikely to be in our lifetime.

CR1 is a immigrant visa and would never change to non-immigrant. K-1 is a immigrant visa till the visa is issued then becomes a non-immigrant with immigrant intentions. It's a different breed of visa because you are allowed under the K-1 to enter the country for 90 days and once you marry and file for AOS. So it's considered a non-immigrant visa with immigrant intentions. I know, makes a lot of sense.
