Just another reason to allow all paperwork to be submitted online so there is a digital copy.

Same here. However it seems that China already owns almost everything in the Philippines anyways.

We also want to move to the Philippines but we have a long road ahead before were ready for that. We were gonna visit Cebu for a few days but maybe next time. Too much going on with visiting family for the holidays. Mostly been in and around Manila. Probably going to Peurto Galera for a few days next week though. Gonna take the whole family with.

How insulting that he couldn't even bother to wear a suit and tie when addressing Congress. Even more insulting the way he demanded money from them. What's worse is the way Congress cheered him on like trained seals while cutting programs in the US to fund this guys extortion.

Hate to rub it in but it is currently 79 degrees and sunny here in Manila. We left home in Wisconsin December 12th and wont be back until January 13th. Guess we couldn't have picked a better time. Were having fun sending family back home pictures of beaches and palm trees while they are freezing and digging out of the snow. Anyways merry Christmas everyone.

Forcing an experimental medical treatment on people in order to immigrate. Pretty sad. Glad my wife immigrated here long before this madness.

It appears that the Philippines no longer requires foreigners to be vaccinated to enter. The only requirement for unvaccinated people is a rapid covid test before departure. Also no one is required to quarantine any longer. Thought this info might be useful to some people here. We are going December 10th and this happened just in time for us. The Philippines airlines website has been updated to reflect the changes.

I think there is a vaccine waiver application you can fill out but I have heard it will cause delays in your case and they usually deny waivers. Your other option is to wait until this madness ends (if it ever does). Those are the only options I can think of unfortunately. I am not suggesting you do this but you could fly to Mexico and cross the border illegally. Illegal aliens are not required to get the vaccine then you would also have a fast track to a green card. Like I said I am not suggesting that option because I wont advocate breaking the law.

A few things here. The "vaccine" has not been proven safe and effective. Secondly just because someone wont take the covid shot doesn't necessarily make them anti vaccine. Third there is no evidence that people who choose not to take the shot are "spreading disease" to anyone at a higher rate than those who took the shot. Fourth if you actually look at the numbers versus believing every word that comes out of Faucci's mouth you would see that not only in the US but worldwide vaccinated people are actually being hospitalized at a higher rate than unvaccinated people. Finally if you are "vaccinated" and you believe it is effective why do you think you have the right to get in other people's business and force an experimental medical treatment on them? It's hard for me to comprehend how some people try to force their paranoia on others.

Even US citizens are having it forced on them. But not the illegals.

jg121783 got a reaction from defeedme in Is there currently any way for an unvaccinated foreigner to enter the Philippines?
It appears the public health emergency expires in September. However it can be renewed. My guess and I could be wrong is that it will be allowed to expire or renewed with less restrictions. No one can say for sure if or when the vaccine requirement will be dropped but the way Marcos is talking about covid restrictions and bringing back tourism things seem to be going in the right direction. Also Marcos has commented that the covid rules would be reviewed the middle of this month. All we can do is wait and see. The Philippines is in the minority of countries now that require a vaccine for tourists so it is only a matter of time before they have to join the rest of the world in being reasonable.

As far as the "Cebu loophole" goes I have seen reports of foreigners being allowed to enter Cebu unvaccinated and I have seen reports of them being turned away so as far as that goes it is travel at your own risk.

jg121783 got a reaction from TBoneTX in Trump Reportedly 'Terrified' of Accusations He 'Flushed' Official Documents
So let me get this straight. Its perfectly reasonable to believe anonymous sources who make the wild claim that Trump flushed documents down the toilet when he could have simply burned them in one of the many White House fireplaces or simply shredded them. However it's just a conspiracy theory that Hillary spied on Trump when a career federal prosecutor spends hundreds of thousands of dollars and well over a year uncovering evidence of such activity. I'm sure he has to justify all that time and money spent. Especially when his bosses are democrats.
